Eh, I think Haley Joel Osment can't pull off KH1 Sora voice anymore.

Anyway, like you, I like and I don't like it. I like it because you get to play as Sora again (story wise, to those who want to say "you can play as him in days"). I hate it because it's another Spin Off on a Portable Console.
It does have a lot of Gimmicks (mush like the DS itself) but maybe too much...
The level up system is all right. Pretty free but it has limits. Levelling up to gain level up chips requires vast amounts of EXP (not sure if it's because I chose Critical mode or not). Different gameplay styles give it a bit of longevity. Unfortunately it does affect facing some favourite bosses in the minigame style (like the turn base in Olympus. I wanted to fight the Titans and Hades and Cloud and Cerberus normally). I could rant/praise a bit more, but now is not a thinking time for me =\

Overall personally, I'd give it a 6 or 7 maybe even push it to 8 (not likely) out of 10.

 

i haven't played it yet but so far i haven't been disapointed of a KH game yet.im sure it's good

 

personally i only want it because of the graphics and design.
i don't like the level up system too much.

 

Eh, I liked Re:coded, but the only thing I really disliked was the camera control and some of my favorite worlds were not present in the game. Honestly, some people may say Re: coded is repetitive and just mimicks Days, but it actually sets the stage for KHIII; so it is basically a major game of it's own in the series much like BbS, but it's just the same repetition of characters and dialogue that may make us see otherwise. I thought it was a good approach to set up different battle systems in some data worlds and Re:coded let's us know more about Mickey and his role in the series.

 

Hmm I must of missed a lot of the keypoints in the story when I played this game because I thought story wise it was pointless, to a degree. I mean I think you could skip this one and still follow the story. I honestly felt like this one was just a game for fun and that it was!

Story wise I would not miss the game, but everything else was just pure fun! the levelling up system was awesome and bloody massive, I didn't like the way u got lvls too much but the way u learnt things, that was awesome and kind of reminded me of the sphere grid from final fantasy 10.

I've yet to be hate a kingdom hearts game, they are the only games I constantly love and get excited for. I even liked COM which was odd because I don't like card based battle systems! I love kingdom hearts glad I have found a forum about it. I always want to talk about it but I don't really have any friends who are into it. A few but they are not as obsessed as I am lol.

Oh and how about the RPG mode on Coded?! to anyones whose witnessed this yet what did you think?
I absolutely loved it lol, its better than console rpg games, or console rpg games of this gen! this is a very small part of the game too and it was more fun than a full rpg game of this gen lol.
