KH- The Resistance

Aquus marveled at the Keyblade while he could, examining every little detail until Andrew made it disappear. He nodded to him and Nozomi, "Good night, see you in the morning," Aquus said to the both of them before going back to his room to sleep
-----The Next Day-----
Aquus awoke very gradually and sat up in his bed, trying to wake up, after he realized what was going to happen today, he snapped awake and got everything together, his cloak, his sword, everything. He then dashed to Gummi Hangar and waited for further instructions.

"Resistance Fighters? I'll take care of them," Rayna said to Maen before walking towards the door. She turned around to Masen right before she reached the door, "Oh, I've been meaning to ask about that," Rayna started, taking a bite of the ice cream, "The Light doesn't bother me, so why not just send me to conquer that world? It'll be easy."

 

Kilet clambered out of his Crow, having spent the night in the Teeny Ship, and took a nice, long stretch to loosen himself up. After all, sleeping in cramped spaces is very stiffening for your muscles! Besides that, the pumpkin carver took a short walk to the other end of the hangar, where Crystle's ship was. Noticing Aquus, he slightly waved.

"Look, it's a water man!" He cheerfully cackled, pulling out his pumpkin staff from out of nowhere. He used this as a walking stick for the rest of the way. "Isn't it a lovely bloody day?"

 

Andrew had awoken early that day and sat in his room. He was filling out a new report, a journal entry it can be called. It explained what was going to happen that day. He took out a small key hidden in a small hand held pencil sharpener in his desk drawer and used it to unlock a file drawer in the desk. He slid it into the drawer and closed it up.

Andrew stood up from his desk and walked over to the closet and opened it up. Hanging inside was his father's uniform. Quickly Andrew changed into it adjusting button on the side of his arm enabling it to become a full body armour. He looked around his room, which was clean. His bed made, papers organized on the desk, all books on the tall shelves.

Andrew turned on his heels and walked out the door down the coridor passing the throne room which was used for meetings instead and briefings. Hidden underneith that room was the cornerstone of light, the only thing keeping Disney Town/Disney Castle the only world not over taken by darkness.

Andrew has been studying the cornerstone of light for a while trying to figure out how it was made, could others be made. He hoped that one day more could be made and placed on other worlds to protect them, one could only hope so though.


Andrew walked into the Hangar. A few resistence members going awaiting for their assigned ships. A few other resistences members not going, which consisted of the weaker ones with a few very strong ones to stay behind if something were to happen that they can stay behind and keep the resistences running and train new members. Andrew walked down the stairs and towards the back where the stronger gumi ships were. The gumi ships reserved for air fighters, one of which was Crystle's, the head engineer one could say for all the gumi ships.

Back here was also Andrew's ship.

"Good morning, gentleman." Andrew stated. Anytime Kilet was around Andrew tried to act mature, well mannered, and respectful. Kilet was a friend of his fathers(can be changed if wanted, just make sense for how long Kilet's been around).

 

"Ugh................why me...................." Syrick had been called into the Gummi Hangar for some weird reason. "Oh well.............I guess Kylon will have to wait another day or two.............." He grabbed a few things his orginization 13 jacket his two swords and a backpack filled with elixirs. He arrived at the Gummi Hangar and saw a group of people.

 

Strolling into the hanger, a bit later then anticipated, Stryder took in the group that had formed. He walked up, battle armor gleaming, hand on the handle of his axe, "Apologies for the lateness," he said as he nodded towards the others, "Syrick, Andrew, Kilet." He looked around, " Where is Nozomi? I am anxious to get this done."

 

Aquus raised an eyebrow at Kilet, "Water Man?" he asked. He knew where such a nickname could come from, but he still found it odd. Aquus tried to act polite, but Kilet had always struck Aquus as a very odd sort of person. Aquus greeted Syrick as he arrived gave a greeting to Andrew as well. Aquus was about to ask Andrew another question about the Keyblade when Stryder showed up and cut him off. Aquus looked at Stryder, "What? No hello for me?" he joked. But then he became a bit anxious as well, "Nozomi's not here? Where could she possibly be?"

 

Stryder always regarded Aquus as somewhat.......undisciplined. Even so he liked the kid, though Zeus knows why. "Water man," nodding in his direction, "Im sure she is on her way, we have a very strict schedule."

 

Noticing that it was almost time to depart for the mission ahead, Hooper started slowly making his way towards the far Gummi Hangar where others were probably already waiting for Nozomi to show up. Andrew had told him a few days earlier that he could stay back at the headquarters to wait for them until the mission was complete. Hooper didn't tell him that if he would depart with them, or stay behind as asked, but he thought that the youngsters just couldn't handle a mission this great with a little group.

Smoking his pipe as usual and using his large axe as a walking stick, he slowly made his way towards the hangar ahead. A while later he met up with Val who had crawled out of the Tech. Department to the light of the day. They greeted each other but really didn't make a good conversation while making their way to the hangar, as Hooper clearly noticed that Val didn't like the sun. Both smoked during the walk, and it was clearly noticeable that most of the soldiers didn't really like the smoke, but they just didn't dare to say anything as they knew that these two men were one of the top soldiers of the Resistance. Even thought that there were rumors that Val was only a geek who couldn't stand a chance in a fight, it was usually cut up with that no one really had seen him fighting against anyone. Hooper had as he had been part of the resistance for many years, and knew that Val was a capable fighter against some. Val just didn't like the idea of fighting, it just frustrated him.

They both arrived at the hangar, where the other members where already chatting with each other. Val didn't make any reaction to greet them, as Hooper slightly waved his hand.

"Ha! So many young ones already preparing to end their lives for this cause of ours? Fascinating." Hooper said as he slightly played with his beard. "Oh, Kilet! You're coming too? At least there's someone experienced enough at this trip with us, ha!" Hooper continued as Val went to sit down to the corner and lightning another cigarette. "Hoop, you talk too much."

 

Andrew turned to him.

"Well these are some more of our stronger young members. In fact I was quite young on my first mission, I was probably about 13, they'll need to start eventually." Andrew stated going over the boarding calls.

"Where is she. Has any one seen Crystle? I want to make sure the assigned ships are up and ready to go. Oh well until then, assigned ships Stryder and Crystle I have together. Kilet and Aquus. Val do you want to go on this trip, we'll need a health person and if something were to happen to Crystle, we'll need a tech person." Andrew stated looking in his general area. He remembered reading his father's report on most members and knew that Val could fight well, but didn't like it. Though as a boy, Andrew always thought him to be afraid to fight, even some now but he's grown up too much like his father to know better, plus Andrew learned he had to trust and respect his father's word.

"If that be the case Val you can come with me or Nozomi since of the current attendance, and we're the only ones without the partner in our ships." Andrew stated before putting the notecard away in his pocket. "We're just missing 4 in attendance." Andrew stated. He turned his head hearing mumbling and grumbling, another first mission. A fairly good fighter, always trying to fight other members however when this member, Syrick, was always put to work, he always complained.

"Syrnik, good to see you, you'll be flying with Kylon whenever he shows up. We need now just the three, then I think I got everybody." Andrew stated turning around.

Aquus sighed, hoping he would be paired with Nozomi or Andrew. Oh well, Aquus thought, Just make the most of it. That's what Aqua would do. Aquus turned to Kilet and smiled, "Well then," he began, "Let's not let each other get killed out there," Aquus then turned to Andrew, so what ship are we going in then? I'm hoping that it's not a weaponless one." Aquus then took note of the three absences and started scratching his chin, "Where could they be? Should I go look for them?"

 

"No you won't, child." Hooper soon cut through Aquus' words. "We'll wait for Nozomi right here. If the other two won't show up before that, we'll make our leave by then. After all, we have a schedule to be followed".

"You know that the Tech. Department has their own ship? I left the report about the new cargo and Tech. ships to you few months ago to your table. Guess that you haven't noticed it then. I suggest that we won't take too many ships to this journey as the enemy radar sure notices us if there's too many ships. Thought that while I'm in the Tech. ship, I can conceal us from the radar but there's no saying that with this many ships we'll won't be spotted." Val said as blowing out some smoke from his mouth.

"The Tech. Cargo ship transports our supplies and medical items and works as the communication center on this mission. It has four seats, so I and Hoop will go to there. I bet that Nozomi and Crystle go with Crystle's ship, so you and Aquus can hop on to the Tech. ship. It's over in that corner." Val said as he pointed out in the direction of two times higher ship than the other two-seated models. It was almost completely black, making it more harder to spot while flying in the outer space. It had large windows and it was full of crates of supplies for the mission.

"So to your question, no, I won't be riding with you. Me and Hoop will go with the Tech. ship behind you, making it able for you to pass the enemy without them noticing. So, if someone wants to hop in, there's two seats left." Val said, as his concentration slipped as he heard Hooper's laughter.

"Who's talking too much now, Vallie?" Hoop said as Lightning his pipe and walking towards the large and black Tech. Department ship.
"Oh, shut up Hoop." Val said, stomped his cigarette to the ground and began to make his way to the ship also.

"So anyone who wants to ride with us, is most likely to miss the first action when the others arrive. We'll keep our distance from you guys for the fact that if someone notices you, our supplies won't be in danger", Val said and closed the large door going sideways to the ship and making his way to the driver's seat, opening the window and waiting for Nozomi and Crystle. And for the fact if someone wanted to say something before they would leave.

 

Andrew looked over at Val.

"I saw the report, I'd rather load up supplies on one of the older ships so the new ones will be good and running for our big missions, after all with your report they supposively have new state of the art weaponry and such." Andrew stated pulling out his card.

"That the case, Kilet and Aquus, Crystle and Nozomi, Kylon and Syrick, and Stryder, you know what no. Kilet and Stryder you two go together. Seeing how the numbers appear to be lining up as Aquus you can go with me or on the cargo ship." Andrew stated walking over to his ship, one he customed created when he was 15, the baby known to be one of the fastest and strongest armoury and advance weaponry, which though weaponry is sort of out of range and would get new weaponry soon.

He pulled out the pen and scratched out names and did scribiling.

 

>You guys take forever to leave a single world. Sheesh. When you finally get to Masen's castle, land near it, not far away.<

Tom finally reached Hollow Bastion. He landed on the ground, far away from the castle. His keyblade glider transformed back into a keyblade, and his armor dissapeared. He looked around him, and then at the castle in the horizion. Nobody was near him, and yet Tom still had the strange feeling of being watched, as if his sneaking into the world was all for nothing. "I can't give into the darkness. Especially not now of all times." He muttered to himself as he began walking towards the castle. His keyblade wasn't in his hands, to avoid revealing himself to any dark soldiers from discovering him.

 

"CAN WE JUST LEAVE ALREADY !!!!!" Syrick was getting more and more impatient and angry. "Ugh...I hate missions theyre so boooooooooooooring..." He decided to look for Kylon. "Hey I'm gonna look for Kylon...just wait a bit." In truth he was going to grab more potions and get a sandwich. "I'm break something if this doesnt go faster..."

 

(OOC: Well, it's hard to coordinate so many people, that's why I like smaller groups)
Rayna again snapped into a stiffened position and looked out the window into the town, "I knew it," she muttered to herself. Rayna finished the ice cream and tossed the stick out the window, "I'll take care of it Masen," she said to him before vanishing from the room and reappearing in her room, grabbing the sword from her bed and fastening it to her waist, "Let's see who this uninvited guest is," she whispered to herself before teleporting into the town square. She closed her eyes for a moment, attempting to sense the Light, to no avail. She called to all the creatures lurking about, "Atten-hut!" she commanded, to which all the creatures stood at attention, "We have an intruder! Find the pest and call me to it! If it fights, try to keep it from escaping! Do not attempt to kill it!" With that, the creatures began scurrying about trying to find the supposed intruder.
(OOC: DW, whether or not u get caught is entirely up to you, you can slip by unnoticed if you want. Rayna can sense your Light however, so she knows you're here somewhere )

 

"Hmph...fine I'm just gonna get there the easy way..." He looked at his organization 13 coat it was vintage and allowed him to summon dark corridors. "Heh heh...here we go !!" He summoned a dark corridor and walked through it. In about a minute he was in hollow bastion. "Heh...easy..." He closed it and saw someone drawing near. He took out a sword and pointed it at Tom. "Who are you ?" Syrick asked ready to fight if necessary.

 

>I figured he'd run into her sometime and have to knock her out. If everybody would get to Hollow Bastion already I could do my quick plan and then have him fight Masen. If you want to find Tom first, go right ahead.<

Tom noticed the black cloaked individual. "A user of darkness. Wearing an ancient cloak typically worn by enemies of the light. Just so happens to find me as I enter enemy territory. Immediately draws his weapon to fight. No hesitation. Bring down any enemies without wasting energy. Still gotta fight Masen with as much strength as possible." Tom jumped into the air, flipping over Syrick. Not even bothering to bring his keyblade out, Tom grabbed the back of Syrick's head, kicked his foot out from under him, and slammed him to the ground. With his free hand he grabbed Syrick's sword and threw it away, embedding it into a nearby rock. He then readied to blast Syrick with a light burst, potentially killing him. He stopped himself though. "Lucky for you I've got places to be." He let go of Syrick's head and quickly ran off, towards the castle.

 

"Cur...Curaga..." Syrick said weakly as he healed himself he pulled his sword out of the rock and sheathed it. "Hey wait up !!!" He ran towards Tom and said. "You didnt have to be so harsh I'm an ally a resistance member actually..." syrick said talking fast so Tom wouldnt attack again. "Um...where are you going anyway ?" Syrick asked curiously.

 

"Huh?" Tom spoke, stopping and turning around. "Don't have to be too harsh? You appear out of nowhere, using darkness, a weapon raised at me. Not only that, but you are wearing an outfit once worn by an organization led by the one person in history who could possibly compete to Masen in terms of evil overlord. Everything about you screams enemy." Tom looked around, seeing that there still weren't any enemies nearby. "Listen. Just go back to your resistance. This place is too dangerous and I can't spend my time protecting you. That cloak you're in may protect your heart from the darkness, but it doesn't protect you from the creatures of the dark." He began walking again. "It doesn't matter who I am, why I'm here, or where I'm going. Every moment I spend in one spot is another moment I risk being captured by Masen's troops."

 

As the other senior members entered, Kilet bowed politely to each, grinning devilishly. For once, there was a lack of random riddles and meaningless mutterings while the briefing occurred - a very strange thing, indeed, for this was obviously not the norm. It might have been the weight of the occasion, or it just might have been the wrong day of the year, but for once he was actually relatively sane. That is, until Syrik left.

"One little fishy swimming away from the school; Gonna get trapped in a big shark's pool!" He cackled as the boy walked off. Afterwards, he immediately focused his attention to the situation at hand. "Kilet will fly alongside in the Crow! Teeny-tiny ships are in-vis-a-bullll!"
