"Ok, ok. Before Kinta's head implodes from all from this distress, we should talk things slowly." Lizabeth said while Scarlett chased the moogle out into the hallway.

"Right. So, what do you think we should talk about first, the plague disease or this whole 'i had twins' dilemma?" Alice said going over and poking Kinta on the forehead.

Matthew glared at Ranma before Sho cheered Riri after her performance before turning his attention back to the perverted tech, "So, when Riri was talking about engagements, why did she say AGAIN??"

"Having fun everyone?" Riri laughed as she stood on the stage and sang another song.

"Err, right then. I'm going to start with this plague...thingy then" Lizabeth stated while Alice crossed her arms before asking, "Was there anything weird going on with Audri when she had this plague?" "Don't think so, she seems normal enough in my case," Lizabeth grumbled while she saw Scarlett come back into the room and scanned over her notes again sulking about something.

Sho glared at Yani a little bit irritated that she punched him but Matthew held him back before he tried to pick a fight.

"The reason that we were engaged in the first place was because our parents set an arranged marriage. When we first met some years back, Riri was terrified of me for some strange reason and with our parents dying one after another, they decided to call it off." Matthew said while Sho tried to struggle away from Matthew's grip but gave up, "So, why does she say you want to get engaged to her again though?"

"Let's just say that obsessing over people isn't the best way to get them to love you. Also the fact that she's had more rocky relationships than Sho could ever get a girl to sleep with him (Sho: "HEY!" >__<). I know that Riri is probably using me sometimes so she can find information about her dear younger brother, but that doesn't stop the fact that I try to please Riri to make her happy." Matthew said smiling a little as he saw Riri onstage, "But, for the fact that she uses my emotions against me, I get to poke fun at her as well."

Riri smiled as she glanced over the crowd before seeing a shimmer of silver through the crowd. She shivered a little bit before gaining hold of herself and grabbing ahold of the mic, "Just to let you guys know, I'm not really a big fan on foreign music but this one specific song i know that your boss will probably make me sing before he unscrews my shackles from the stage. So might as well get this over with!"

"Huh, well i still say that there was something that Audri had probably done or eaten recently which incased this plague on herself." Alice added while Scarlett perked herself up and shrugged, "Well, is there a possible way to just cure the disease without a source? I mean, Zackary IS some type of mage in some way that's studied how to cure these types of things, right?"

Zackary glanced over at them and sighed pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose, "It could take some time though since i have various other things to attend to before i even get to something like this.." "Meaning that you're just a lazy ass and you don't want to do favors, even though Audri might me dead before you even get to that." Lizabeth said glancing over at the black-haired man while he growled back, "I'm not that lazy! It's just I have many other things to attend to."

"In either way, we're back at square one." Scarlett muttered while Alice clapped her hands together, "She's the most difficult grandchild i've ever had to deal with! Well, 2nd at best.." "Why do you say second Alice?" Zackary asked raising his brow at her comment. "Well, for some strange reason, I feel like there's an empty void within mine & xenlo's family tree, like if Audri has some sort of sibling or relative at some time in life."

"Do you know for sure?" Lizabeth asked while the which talked, "I can't remember exactly, but i can barely remember if i was there for my daughter when Audri was born or not..." "You are not really grandmother material, you know that?" Scarlett snickered a little bit before Alice threw a plate at her head.

Matthew glared at Ranma wanting to whack him on the head for being an annoying hume, but it couldn't be helped.

"Fine Ranma. And I don't even want to know what moogles have to do with anything," Matthew grumbled as he pulled the screwdriver from his pocket after the song was over before a half-dressed man ran over to Matthew and started shouting about something. Matthew just looked at the man oddly for a second before the man calmed down and spoke, "Some fox-like nutcase broke into the office and kicked me & my girl out!"

"Well, that explains why we're half dressed. Now give me a reason why I shouldn't rip your head off now for locking me out of my office." Matthew said with a snarl while the man stood there a bit frightened and nervous to speak. "H-he said that he was looking for Riri and-" The man was cut off since Matthew threw the screwdriver back to Sho and Yani before following the half-dressed man to his office.

"Well, that was weird. Now to go unscrew Riri from the stage!" Sho stood there with the screwdriver confused before heading towards the stage.

 

"Man, you seem so lively today," Lizabeth said with a sarcastic tone in her voice wondering why Kinta was so aggravated with all of this stuff involving Audri.

Scarlett caught the plate before it hit her head and put in back on the counter, "Is that you were talking about Alice?" "Not really, that idiotic son-in-law has nothing to do with this! Besides, he never died. He just disappeared shortly after the death of his sister, which was around the time his brother was getting married to my daughter Rose..." Alice commented while Scarlett perked her head up, "Rose? Hey Kinta, Monty. Wasn't there a letter that Audri had that had something to do with someone named Rose?"

"Someone's looking for me?" Riri looked down at Ranma curiously while Sho unlatched her from the stage and got up to his feet, "Yeah, any idea on who'd be after you?"

"I could think of one person who's been trying to murder me since-" Riri was cut off by a huge explosion coming from the right side of the room. There was a huge gaping hole in the side of the wall with Matthew lying on the floor coughing out smoke. "Big explosions, someone after me... Oh, shit. He found me." Riri said as she saw a familiar figure stepping out of the wall where Matthew was standing and glanced over in Riri's direction with a smug smile on his face.

"Must I ask who?" Sho said as he was taken back by the explosion still while Riri took a few steps back, "Unfortunately, my dear and possessed brother... Well, brothers to be more precise."

"Hm, I think I remember something vaguely about that trip since I was keeping Rose company at the time. She was pretty sickly at the time that she couldn't go on the fishing trip with her husband and kids." Alice stated while Lizabeth perked her head up looking over at her, "Did you say kids?"

"Well, she probably had another kid at the least since Audri never EVER played with anyone else outside of this place," Alice retorted while Scarlett cocked her head to the side, "Why wouldn't she?" "Let's just say that she could, but some things happened and she wasn't allowed near them afterwords." Alice said glancing up at the ceiling trying to remember what exactly happened with her grandchild... or grandchildren, she doesn't quite remember herself if she has more than one grandchild.

"Agh, that's too much of a confusing topic!" Lizabeth groaned before she got up and went over to the fridge pulling food out. "Maybe she has a cousin her age or something, couldn't she since you had another kid, right Alice?" Scarlett suggested while Alice shook her head, "Audri is the only grandchild i'm aware of. Rose's brother died around the same age as you kids. Rose went mad and became depressed that we had to send her somewhere else for a while; when she came back Xenlo introduced Audri's father to her."

"I wouldn't say that he's completely homicidal, but he's pissed enough to want to butcher me though," Riri muttered before she jumped off the stage slowly walking towards him, "Now, to whom would I be talking to at the moment, my cute and annoying little brother Zero or-" "Oh, cut the crap Riri. That friggen moran can't even get out of a paper bag without a spoon." The fox growled a little while Riri scratched the back of her head, "Oh, so it's you Vincent. I'm guessing you're still after my tails?"

"Nah, I'm after a bigger prize tonight at the least," The fox named Vincent said as he pulled some knives from his sleeves glaring at Riri. "And that would be...?" Riri said while she felt herself fly back as her brother lunged at her striking her in the shoulder with the knife, "Your life of course~!"

Sho looked to see that Riri was being thrown back towards their direction at the stage before glancing at the others, "Should we help her out?"

 

"Well... I can tell you one thing at the least about the Devil's Plague that it might have some family connection within the family tree," Scarlett said as she took a sketch from her notes and handed it over to Alice, "Remember these two?"

"Ohh, now I remember them! What do they have to do with this case though?" Alice said while Lizabeth snatched the paper from the witch's hand glancing at the picture in surprise, "Who are these people?" "They're names were Altessa & Justis White. They were Audri's father's siblings. Justis is the Noah of the Mind and i noticed that his sister had the same looking tattoos that Audri had started getting on her arm as well," Scarlett pointed out in the picture while Lizabeth started to act a bit... fidgety.

Riri put her hand on her bleeding shoulder and smiled up at the girl, "I'm fine. It's just a minor scratch." "Bull that's a scratch!" Matthew shouted from outside the bubble as he saw Vincent charging forward again.

"Man Riri, you know how to attract such good meals. Too bad that you play with your food though," Vincent said as he picked up his knives that dropped on the ground before Sho noticed something on the floor near Vincent's feet. "What's this?" Sho asked outloud picking up the metal object and pushed the button on it.

The next thing everyone knew, the stage exploded and pieces were flying all over the place.

 

"Wrapped up in everything? What do you morons mean now?" Alice snapped a little annoyed of being out of the loop. Lizabeth poked Neli's forehead while cracking a grin at her, "I'm just fine."

"Well, from all that we've been through now, this Noah of Mind has had some sort of connection to Audri in what we've known so far. Mostly involving her memories or family from what you've told us," Scarlett explained while the witch sat there in thought. "So, if that is the case, what is he getting Audri into?" Lizabeth said after a moment before Scarlett shrugged.

"For now, we should keep an eye on Audri and hope for the best with this Devil's Plague since it is seen to have major effects from what Justis wrote about his sister." Scarlett spoke again holding up a small but stained notebook.

"Man, you complain too much," Riri grumbled while she grabbed a plank of wood before charging towards her brother.

Vincent tried to get away but his arm got snagged in the cord wires to a point that if he kept running, his arm could be dislocated off at the moment. He glanced over seeing Riri in his direction before smiling a little, "Hoy Riri! I was able to catch your singing when I first came in!"

Riri slowed down a bit before her face lit up like a christmas tree, "Really?" Vincent smirked a little as he pulled another knife from his pocket, "Yeah, it was pretty good for a hooker like yourself." Riri's face twisted as a scowl appeared on her face before she barked at him aiming to hit him with the debris, "Take that back you half-blood!"

Vincent's eyes flickered for a second before he threw the knife (with his free arm) that lodged into Riri's chest and managed to dodge the piece of wood in time.

 

"Ok ok! Don't get your panties in a twist!" Scarlett snapped at the silver-headed male while Alice snatched the notebook from her hands and opened it up, "So, What does Justis talk about then Scarlett? Knowing how you like to read everything you come across, there's something you might be able to tell us at the least."

"From what I was able to read up to, Justis talked about how there were servants that started disappearing one by one, his sister was acting more and more... what's the word, obsessed over him. To a point that she would go everywhere with him. He just thought of it nothing but a brotherly-complex so he decided to ignore it. He eventually started to smell something rotting from one of the other vacant rooms that he decided to look and came across some rotting bodies which were the same number of servants that went missing." Scarlett said while Alice dropped the book shuddering a bit from the thought.

Lizabeth smiled as she patted Neli's head trying to keep herself together, "Is it cause we seem the same?"

Riri just looked at Yani before putting her hand where her bleeding chest was hit, "I don't feel any different, like I didn't feel the knife break through my skin... Vincent!" Vincent growled as he held onto his head from the new blood running down the side of his face, "You little bas-" "Did you give me a numbing drug?" Riri said as she walked over to where Ranma & Vincent were bickering while Vincent smirked a little, "When I made the first blow, of course I laced my knife with that drug, but it's not forever. It'd be no fun to torture you to death later if you can't feel pain."

"You son of a half-" Riri dropped to her knees clutching onto her ears as a alarm went off, "DANGER! DANGER! SELF DESTRUCT IN 30 SECONDS!!" "Agh! Too loud, too loud!" Vincent groaned as he clutched his head as well. "Owowowow!!!" Sho whined as he tried to stop the alarm from breaking his eardrums. Matthew just stood there for a second before face palming, "You guys are sissies, aren't you?"

 

"Well, besides all the grumesome stuff Justis wrote down, she has some minor symptoms, or issues he rather call them; She became a bit possessive, had major mood swings, had cravings for human flesh, and she loved drinking or seeing blood." Scarlett said picking the book off the ground before Alice threw her arms up a little panicking, "That just sounds like a cannibal!"

"It does a little bit, but it also said that once she ran out of people to take her violence on, she turned on her brother almost killing him as well. But he got to her first before she got him." Scarlett said continuing on while Lizabeth frowned slightly before patting her head, "It's nothing, really!"

"No, it's not that or that'd effect me too." Matthew said side stepping so he was right next to Ranma. "That's just my ringtone for my cellphone since I always miss calls," He explained as he pulled his phone from his pocket that was buzzing away. "Who makes a panic alarm a ringtone?!!" Sho shouted at Matthew still clutching his head.

"I needed a noise to give me a heart attack saying 'your phone is ringing!' So I thought it was better to hook it into the club speakers as well," Matthew said as he answered his phone and the alarm stopped. Everyone dropped her hands from their ears and sighed in relief that the sound was off. "That was a shitty diversion, that's for sure." Vincent growled as he noticed himself tied up.

 

"Well... it says that this only start to happen after she got attacked by a demon which injected its blood into her." Scarlett said while Alice frowned, "But this is different with Audri though!"

"...Maybe that bottle of Black Blood does have something to do with this." Lizabeth commented as she started to eat out of the fridge.
