My name is Merlyn Balthazar Stutler, I'm 15 years old. When I was a child my father and my godparents would tell me stories of sorcerers and magic. I was always fanatasized by these stories. I dreamed of one day becoming a great sorcereress like the ones in the stories they told me. When I turned 10 gave up that dream when my father disappeared. My godparents also completely dropped it and my godfather seemed to always be busy with something. Little did I know that dream of mine, to be a sorceress, would come back to hunt me. ​

Hello, you're probably wondering who I am. My name is Balthazar Blake, and I am a lot older than I look. To be exact I'm... I really am not sure, I've lost track. I am as you could probably guess, am a sorcerer. A sorcerer master if I will. I'm also an apprentice of Merlin the great wizard or sorcerer whichever you pick and I am the master of the last prime merlinian, David Stutler. I was suppose to die upon David discovering his true powers but I was brought back to life by David. I never told David this, but I never officially died. You see, in my little "sleep" I met with Merlin. He spoke to me explaining about the prime merlinian. Upon David discovering who he was, it awakens the sleeping blood inside him that runs from Merlin. You see David is a descent from Merlin himself. Anyways, Merlin explained to me that now all of the children if they realize they have powers running in them, the blood will just keep getting more powerful. Merlin told me I have to have the powers go to rest if it continues, the blood will get stronger the child will begin to be a danger of a threat or they will become a great threat. Due to this I told David not to tell his children not of their powers they have. ​

This has me sticking around when David and Becky have their first, and only child Merlyn, named after the great Merlin. I was worried that they may tell her and stuck around Veronica, my wife you can say, and I becoming her godparents. David promises to only fill her mind with false stories like every child, but to never tell her of her powers. ​

5 years ago, David disappeared. Veronica and I found traces of a dangerous sorcerer who escaped a long time ago. His name is Maxim Horvath. We're worried that he took him for revenge and that if he discovers about Merlyn, she will be in a great danger. Since then trying to hide it from Merlyn, I've taken in three apprentice, 3 of which she knows very well and attends school with them. We're training to go after Maxim, then I awoken to a gift, a gift from Merlin. A letter and a new dragon a little larger than the one David had. It explained about the next Prime Merlinian and possibly the last, and that this one will end the dark sorcerers, known as Morganian Sorcerers, once and for all. ​

I'm slightly worried and concerned for her safety but as she grows older I discover even without the dragon, she has been gaining some magical powers.​

Plot:: This picks up right after the movie ended with Maxim grabbing his hat after the credits. The movie for this RP takes place 25 years ago, so for 20 years Maxim has been in hiding before he kidnapped Dave. When this happens Balthazar has started training three new apprentices. So giving us plenty of characters. The plot will play out just like the movie, the three apprentices know about Merlyn but hide it from her, slowly though she discovers her powers. Balthazar eventually presents the dragon to her. During that time Maxim has his own apprentice and arrives in New York set on one goal, revenging Morgana Le Fay by trying to raise the dead Morganian army with one goal, wipe out all Merlinian sorcerers and enslaving the human race. ​

Merlin is an old wise man. He has a very long beard and wearing a dark blue cloak. He looks just like the cartoon Merlin but as a real person and no hat.​

History- Merlin is the worlds strongest Sorcerer. He is the one who started the sorcerer race of Merlinians. ​

Merlin knew his time was coming so he taught everything he knew to three trusted apprentice, though he should have only trusted two, Balthazar and Veronica. ​

Morgana killed Merlin back in 740A.D., but Merlin's soul secretly lived on, without Balthazar knowing he led David to Balthazar in 2000. He caused David's note from Becky, as a child asking friend or girl friend, away and throughout New York, eventually it found its way into Balthazar's "magic/antigue" shop. ​

Merlin wasn't gone after that. When Balthazar "died" Merlin saved his life and made it appear to David and Veronica that he had died. Secretly though, Merlin was speaking to Balthazar's soul telling him about David's children and how they can't learn about magic.​

25 years later when David was missing. Merlin gave up another important artifact of his. It was to belong to Merlin's own daughter who nobody knew or was she remembered. Merlin's daughter was going to be Merlin's successor, but Morgana knew about her and killed Merlin's daughter, forcing Merlin to take in the three apprentices. Merlin took her daughters bracelet and held onto it for a long time.​

Now just like Merlin's magic awoken in David's blood, he sees his own daughter's blood awakening in David's daughter, Merlyn(named after him). He gave the note to Balthazar but not explaining about his daughter.

Personality- Becky is very kind, friendly, funny, and loving. She's not really smart. Music is her life and she runs an evening radio show in New York.

Appearence-

History- Becky has known David since they were kids. When an incident happened in fourth grade, she never saw David again because he transfered from all the issues the other students gave him. ​

Both Becky and David reunited in college when David was teaching a lesson to Becky's Physics 101 class. From then David and Becky started talking again and eventually were in a relationship soon.​

Their relationship over the years only grew stronger and eventually the two got married. Becky is one of the only mortal humans who knows about the magical world or sorcery. ​

She misses David dearly but is trying to raise Lyn, their daughter, the best she can alone and is grateful to have Balthazar and especially Veronica's help. She like Balthazar though has been seeing the magic in Lyn appear and awaken.

History- Veronica was one of Merlin's three apprentices. She was also in the middle of a rivalry of love between Balthazar and Horvath. Veronica always loved Balthazar more though because unlike Horvath, Balthazar the careful, caring, and loving to her. Horvath was rude, inconsiderate, and sometimes even rough with "punishing". Veronica is the youngest of the three apprentices. She(even from immortality) is only 20 years old. Horvath 39 and Balthazar 32. ​

Veronica cares for Lyn sort of if Lyn was her own daughter. She's been after Balthazar to have a child. When David disappeared though she dropped it.

Personality- Dave is a bit clumsy and often stressed about things such as work and giving the best for his family. Dave is also a terrible liar. He loves his family a whole lot and is helpful to all those important to him. He is very intelligent.

Appearence-

History- Dave is a sorcerer and descendant of Merlin. A prophecy spoke of him that he was to be the great sucessor of Merlin the Sorcerer/Wizard. The prophecy came true and 25 years ago when he was in college, he defeated Morgana. 5 years ago though he was kidnapped by Maxim for revenge against Morgana. Maxim is using him as a Energy bank gaining strength from him.​

Dave after graduating college married Becky and they had their first daughter and only child Merlyn Balthazar Stutler. Merlyn's first name coming from Merlin, their ancestor, and Balthazar after her godfather and the one who Dave everything.

He betrayed Merlin because he was in love with Veronica, but Veronica fell for Balthazar angering Horvath and wanted revenge. Morgana found him then and took him in as her apprentice. ​

When David defeated Morgana 25 years ago, Horvath managed to escape, but disappeared. He came back, his revenge planned with his own apprentice, who is a promsing new Morganian sorcerer. David unable to fight back was kidnapped. ​

Now, unknown to Balthazar, his apprentices, and David's daughter, Horvath resides on a floor in the Empire State Building.

You can putt pictures on with your phone, you got an iPhone didn't you? Just open a seperate window google image click the image, you get that picture with options in black, and then click full size, you'll get the image with white background, copy the link for that page, come back to your template hit insert image button and paste the link in.

Ok, and I had an iPod Touch before I got my new iPhone so I knew how to use it already.

So we can get started quicker, I guess I'll go ahead and make Horvath Maxim.

Accepted, the sorcerer's "jewelry" (it's really just an object or accessory) is what makes a Sorcerer's power real and usable. The only sorcerers able to survive without the srcerer's "jewelry" is Merlin,David, then of course Lyn.

Add that, and it's awesome and good to go.

 

No, their magic focus with magic. In the movie the magic shown in a mirror trap, fire, transformation, plasma, summoning, soul possesion, levitation, trapping the body and soul in stuff, etc. In the movie though at one part, Balthazar tells David it's a matter of focusing and you being able to do whatever you want.

So yeah anything is available just know a limit so it doesn't turn too much into godmod.

 

I couldn't find a picture of his ring and rewatched the best scene of him showing his ring and on TV it looked green, but when on my iPhone, it looked greenish yellow, so I went with green with the bigger image.

But basically what desert said, and are you sure desert? We so far have openings of two apprentices and Veronica(who is a very minor role, if she's used at all).

 

Ah, well I never thought of something like that. Well that be a cool RP, maybe somebody could come up with a plot, I could that is after this RP is done perhaps. But thanks for reading and still offering assistances
