Brushing up on Dissidia

Yeah, I know this is a waste of a thread, but I'm hyped for Dissidia 2.

Now to express my opinion on Firion since I've nothing better to do.

Firion is more of a tactical character than the BRV point destroying character Squall. His ground game is pretty good and is what you really should be focusing on in battle. His air game.. is a crap, I admit that, because it's very much true. His air moves are mainly spells, which should only be used as distractions at best.

So if you watch the video, you can see that I just plain 'ol suck with Firion. That being said, I haven't really seen a good Firion, but I'm eager to see one. So now let's discuss what you guys are doing in preparation for Dissidia 2 if you're doing anything at all.

Feel free to make comments about my video, I don't really care if they're negative.

 

I had everyone at level 100 at one point - that was when I had over 500hours of playtime. It's really unfortunate that my sister overwrote my save file with hers, making me lose all of my progress. In addition to getting my characters back to fighting form, I'm also still training with my bests so that I'm fully prepared for the sequel.

so far my level 100's include:

Jecht (no shocker there..)
Firion
Ultimecia
Terra
Onion Knight
Squall
Warrior of Light
The Emperor

As you can see I still quite a ways to go. And while I do this I'd be happy to provide videos of the current battle strategies I'm working in my preparation.

 

Oh yeah? Which summons are you missing? Remember you can get summons as rewards for keeping your DP high in a characters storyline.

 

For all 10 heroes stories you can get 3 summons each. For the chaos impulse, there's 2 for each portion. And for the extra storylines there's 1. Kinda hope that helps for the locations.

I love beating on Sephiroth because at times his CPU can actually prove to be challenging. Anyways in regards to the Ultimecia video, I uploaded a video early today so I wouldn't mind putting it up now.

Hey I'm just showing these videos because I just want to show people how I'm preparing for the next game, not to change anyone's opinion. Though I'd wish you'd be a little less critical about Ultimecia..

That's one of his combos and by far one of my favorite ones too. The timing for it is so strict though - I can hardly pull it off against other people when lag comes up.

 

Hurray for the Cecil love. I don't play with Cecil enough to truly know the extent of his abilities, but I'm well versed by my friends who play with him that when used right he's a force to be reckoned with.

 

Sure, I like Terra. I think I even have one or two adhoc matches that I can show off.
