I think the first time I played it, I was about level 7 when I left Destiny Island. The other times I was generally around 10-13. There was one time(which I still have left Destiny Island[I call it my Destiny Island saved game]) But for that one I'm like level 19 I think.

I think I attempted this about a year ago. I think I got up to lv 20 before just "Calling it a day."

I would eventually leave once I got 99 potions from fighting either Riku or all three Tidus, Selphie and Wakka. Usually I'd leave at a level in the early teens since it's a more than okay level to leave and continue the story with. I probably won't do it again because 5 plus hours for 99 potions isn't worth it and levelling up becomes a breeze throughout the game.

If I was going to stay as long as you did Dok,i would do it for the item you get for winning the race against Riku.Cant remember the name, but it is just there to be sold,so you can start out with some munny for other stuff, like the good stuff for Donald and Goofy plus items.

Ugh, I did that as well. 99 pretty stones or something like that. Not worth it, you'll get about 2000 munny if I recall(but as you said, munny to buy the weapons, can be worth it). It's about 2-3 minutes each race so it can add up to nearly 5 hours. You can also find a couple of these stones in the game, but I guess just having 99 is also some sort of satisfying accomplishment.

I tried doing this. My ADHD made me quit at level 6. Tried again a year later. Game randomly froze on me at intro. Ragequit immediately.

I did this as well, though I can't remember if I really got 99 of the stones. I probably stopped somewhere around 50. Kind of a waste of time, but I like having the extra munny.

So between that and the power-leveling against Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie, I spent way more time in Destiny Islands than I needed to. ^_^

    GrandShadow I accept your challange.

first time i ever did it, i got up to 12.

now when i do that i refuse to leave before i'm 20. cause Leon always gives me trouble that very first time.

I think that it takes 2 hours to get 99 pretty stones instead of 5 (Unless you were running real slow Doktor.)

The lowest level possible :p Riku is just urghh(I couldn't even beat him at that race), and when Selphie defeated me, I decided to give up and I didn't even bother with Tidus or Wakka.

I've only played KH1 once though, and I can't replay it because the opening freezes, I can defeat Ansem (Well, Xehanorts heartless) again though, lucky me...

XD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA! you got your butt beat by a clumsy girl?! I feel your pain but that is amusing. Selphie is suppose to be the easiest way to get a lot of tech exp. I guess you were reckless at that time.

    I guess i was :D

I lost hope after that. And after a shadow heartless defeated me, no i'm joking. I'm not THAT stupid...

really? i had an easier time with parrying Tidus than Selphie. she was definately the wekest of the three but for tech exp, i found Tidus to be easiest. Hell I found Riku easier even.

I agree with you there. Tidus gave me the impression of being the easiest to obtain tech points as parrying his attacks gave off 2 each time and they were fairly obvious to predict when it was going to hit. Selphie was a bit more difficult as even today I'm not sure where the hitbox of her attacks are.

Nah. Selphie is the easiest ( I guess because I am better at timing attacks and in blocking.) but it can also be that I have the guard ability too.

Wha, I always found Wakka to be the easiest to spar with and get EXP from him. Tidus and Selphie were easy as well, but Wakka's attack were slow and the blitzballs were easy to deflect without actually hittin him the same time.

Wakka is the easiest out of all of them since his blitzball attacks go all over the place and 90 percent of the time miss you.

I usually just hit the balls back at Wakka until he runs out of HP, then focus on Tidus and Selphie. I almost NEVER battle Riku unless I'm in dire need of EXP points or just need a change of opponent. I think the farthest I got was Level 32 once, but the problem is that you cannot possibly level up in the next 3 worlds or so (since those Heartless have little EXP value), so it kind of makes the game loses it's challenge and excitement. I don't think I died once on that file too, although I think I did lose to Sephy once.

Also, I almost NEVER focus on collecting Munny in the game since I don't really pay attention to Goofy and Donald gets most of his powerful wands later in the game for free anyways.

Whenever I play through, I try to get to somewhere between levels 15 and 20 before I call it quits. I actually prefer to level up a lot early on in the game, since there comes a point about halfway through, about the time you reach Monstro, that the experience point increases stagnates just a bit, and leveling up becomes too much of a chore.
