KH Birth by Sleep ending confusion. Spoiler alert

YES! I hate the fact that she's still stuck in that freaking Realm of Darkness.

WARNING, SPOILERS: TO ALL ELSE THAT WOULDN'T LIKE THESE SORT...

That man is Ansem the Wise, correct. When he referred to his presence there being the 'second time', I believe it was referring to after the explosion of his machine, no? Kingdom Hearts 2, if I remembered correctly.

Now, as to why she isn't in the Realm of Light. You played to the ending, you'd have seen that she gave up her Keyblade armor to send Terra-Xehanort out. Theoretically, I suppose without that armor, she lost her ability to get that travel thingie? I'm not sure what you would call that mode of travel though. In fact, I'm quite curious as to how exactly she would still have a keyblade despite clearly having sent it up with Terra-Xehanort! (You can see this when Ansem the Wise was led by Braig and Dilan to find Terra-Xehanort; I suspect it might be a plot hole.)

As to the second question... I'm not so sure. I didn't follow the series enough to know about what actually happened in Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 in detail. Have you seen the secret video in Birth By Sleep yet? In case you haven't.. Spoiler tagged.

I suspect, that Aqua in the subsequent continuation, would be brought back by Sora one way or another. I'm not so sure about Ventus though, but I have a nagging feeling that Terra may die. If you watched the secret video in the game, 'Blank Points', you'll actually realize that Xehanort has got some contingency plans in case Terra does manage to wrest control of his heart from Xehanort. Now, I suppose there could be some retarded self-destruction plan in progress soon after???

Dumb conjecture. Okay. I think Terra might be able to regain control of his body. In fact, there's quite a good chance Terra and Aqua could have some form of relation. Earth and Water, what better combination? That aside, Terra might really be able to regain control, because Xehanort most probably wouldn't have got anything seriously worked out that would immediately kill Terra the moment he regains control of his own body. The most likely scenario is that either Xehanort leaves the body and finds another vessel, or he has already set a plan in motion for someone else to do his job.

But now, I realize, that Xehanort is seemingly desperate to stay alive to bear witness to the Keyblade War. He must be alive. So, his little plan most probably involve another vessel from someplace else. I won't know where, but well, we'll see

 

she can't. Aqua traveled to other worlds via her keyblade and armor. but she doesn't have those anymore, she lost them trying to save terra from darkness. all she has is Eraqus keyblade but no armor. also, she traveled worlds through that method, she's in the realm of darkness. not a world but an entire realm. no matter where she tries to travel she'll still be in the realm of darkness.

oh, and that takes place after KH2. Ansem the Wise was blasted to the realm of darkness when his machine broke in KH2. the reason she wasn't in any previous KH games despite being alive and well(besides being trapped) is because she wasn't thought of until the end of KH2 when they started planning BBS.

no, that's wrong. KH3 will be about Xehanort, not his heartless, not his nobody, and not some new version but Xehanort himself. KH3 will be about Sora's battle against Xehanort and his new journey to help everyone connected to him(Terra,Ventus,Roxas,Xion,Namine, and possibly Axel)

the only reason there's still discussion is because people who don't know this ask, or its discussion on how all this will happen. the story has pretty much been discovered and confirmed for a few months now.

 

The realm of darkness isn't something you can just leave anytime you choose. It's a dimension right next to the realm of light and only people with adept knowledge and skill of darkness can enter and leave the realm of darkness of their own free will. Obviously, since Eraqus was far too paranoid of the darkness, he never bothered instructing them on how to go about controlling the darkness. Terra most likely learned to control his darkness off-screen with Master Eraqus so that he could use Dark Impulse properly.

The armor isn't really needed to travel from world to world, but traveling without places a tremendous risk in being lost to the darkness in the voidless space between the worlds. Essentially all the armors are good for are offering a darkness protection - an example of this is when Terra quickly put on his armor when seeing Xehanort attacking once again after being defeated to protect him from his darkness attacks.

in Riku? It was destroyed in Castle Oblivion. But Riku is more prone to the darkness than any other character.
