The Dominion of Everything

"Ow," Xohka said monotonously. "But it's nothing compared to the training I've been through. And you're right about everything you said I am: a fool and an insect. But you could have asked me to join you and you didn't. Instead, you put this stupid illusion on me. And that's why I'm going to annoy the hell out of you!"

"Looks like we got a noob." Xohka's body exploded, not an illusion explosion but an actual explosion burning a dozen puppets.
A few feet away from where the real Matthias was, a winged Xohka hovered there with one less feather. "I hate people who betrays their team. And just for the record, leaving doesn't count as back-stabbing. And if you understand everything, then I'm going to ask you a question: What am I going to do next?" 7 feathers fell of his wings and transformed into Xohka clones. "I'll tell you what. As my clones are attacking those puppets and that creep, I will find out what the hell is going on here." He looked down and was astounded by the complexity of things. "Be right back." He flew a ways away from the battle to think things over.

 

Raine's arms began to raise to the sky. Her keyblade appeared and a beam of light appeared out of it and towards the rift. Matthius, Jaden, and her body began to glow. Just in a flash the three disappeared.

They appeared in a large space, a battlefield(similar to the battle field in the white chain room at the end of KH2) Jaden and Matthius were placed facing each other. Raine's body appeared floating in between The keyblade pointed upward. It stopped Matthius from becoming a god, for the moment.


"Only the winner of the blades shall become the god, a one with the dominion, the one to make the ultimate decisions. The two blades must clash, for this is a battle for everything." Raine's voice but at the sametime not Raine's voice spoke in there heads.



At that moment, Raine's body appeared off to the side away from the battle. She opened her eyes, they were still emotionless however her mind was full alert.

"Begin." Raine but not Raine's voice spoke.

 

The real Matthias turned to Jaden. "If that is so, then let us begin." He cracked his neck and lifted up his sword. "I've been waiting for this for three years. I hope you're aware of what is on the line. While we fight, I still gain more knowledge. Perhaps not at the same rate as when I held onto your sword, but I still gain. I've gained about 7% of all the knowledge, and already I know more than any can comprehend. And I've got some tricks I've saved just for you." With a flick of his wrist, the chains shot out from many directions, all going to bind Jaden. "One of the things I've learned is the weakness to our swords. I have the advantage in this battle."

 

Xohka came back shortly after, still a bit confused but he remembered something important. Then he saw that Matthias and Jaden weren't there. Nobody was at the rift. "Come on!" he shouted. "What the heck is happening here? I was gone for, like, two seconds then this? Wait, why'd I come back? Oh, right: that magician girl. Guess this is my last chance to ask her for her name." He flew to Malisa, knocking away a Matthias clone in the process, and was repelled by some shield. "Yo! Tell me your name and I'll help you guys out."

 

As Matthias was hit from behind, it looked like a clone jumped out of his back and punched Jaden. It walked completely out of Matthias' body. Once it was out, Matthias' body dissapeared. "You're gonna have to do better than that." He turned, showing Jaden his back. "See this? No wound. You have no idea the extent of my powers. But I have every idea of the extent of your weakness." He pointed his left hand at Raine. In the blink of an eye, two blades shot out from his hand. One blade pierced Raine's chest, the other broke through her keyblade. "We are creators. Their lives, their powers, they are nothing to us. Even this area she brought us to is nothing but a momentary distraction. Our battle will be concluded in the Dominion. Not in a pathetic cage like this."

More clones of Matthias appeared. A few of them grabbed Xohka and held him in place. "Deciding on helping the enemy. That is what makes you a traitor." Another clone walked up, stabbing Xohka in the chest. "This attack is real." A clone walked out of the back of this clone and continued to absorb Malisa's barrier.

 

To a surprise nothing happened.

"You are in the dominion as I'm not the girl you think I am. The truth, the girl is from the world of creators. However due to her purpose and similarity to some idea created by creators she was placed in a different realm. She is the key to the dominion. She is the key to me. I am the dominion." Raine spoke, however, once again it wasn't really her voice.

 

"You started it," Xohka shot back at the clones. "And I not that dumb, dumbass; I know this is real." He exploded, but not as drastically as the last time. This explosion was an electrical charge that coming out of his body, but not ripping himself up. The Matthias clones were sent flying, paralyzed with electrocution. He plucked out a couple of his feathers and ate it. Instantly, his wound healed. "I'm sorry, Heartless, but I can't get a world for you guys." He flew over to the rift and touched it. 1% of the universe's knowledge went into him, but it was a bit too much for him to handle. "Agh, talk about a migraine." He descended and, with his newly gained knowledge, planned to take out one Syneptophy; the only Syn on the battlefield: the Puppet Master, including his puppets. "Die, you child-molesting-wannabe." Xohka took out his katana, charged it up with electricity and range with wind magic. Then he slashed a huge sword wave that exploded, destroying the puppets and leaving their master with one arm missing.

 

There was a gigantic burst of light when the Kamehameha hit its target. Once everything went back to normal, Matthias was standing in the same spot, one of his arms completely blown off. "Energy beams. What fun. Even though I could match you, I think I'll let you use today's culture against me." Another Matthias walked out of his body. This one, like the last one, was completley uninjured. In the blink of an eye, Matthias was right in front of Jaden. "The sad thing is that I can make you do whatever I want." Matthias grabbed Jaden's throat. His ghostly aura formed. Instead of making a reach for Jaden's soul, he did something different. The aura left his body and flew into Jaden's mouth. "Lemme see how strong you are against possession." His voice echoed in Jaden's mind. "In fact, let's see how strong you are while you're witnessing the things I've done in the past." Jaden's mind was flooded with images of the horrendous things Matthias had done years past.

 

From the outside, Jaden's body began to transform. It was transforming into Matthias. "No." Matthias answered in Jaden's mind. "And do you want to guess what will happen when I win? I will revive Raine, kill her, revive her again, kill her in a dfferent way, and repeat the process until I'm bored." As Matthias was beginning to take over Jaden's body, he floated through Jaden's mind. "Oooooohhhhhh. What's this? All your bottled up guilt for dying and failing? Let me see... Causing Raine to suffer for three years... Watching helplessly as we took over the world and did what we pleased... Oh, and being unable to protect your parents as I personally killed them. Do you want to know how it happened? It was rather fun. I got your mother first. She was pathetically easy. I ripped out her heart and crushed it with my bear hand. And then your father. I cast an illusion on him. He witnessed his wife and son die over and over until it drove him insane. Once he was completely broken, I cut him in half."

Clones walked out of the other clones. The clones that were paralyzed dissapeared. Again, 6 of them went to absorbing the barrier. Any remaining clones went after Xohka. "That's a risky move for you, going after the rift. Your mind can't handle the information. If you attempt that again, your head might explode. Literally. But tell me, are you sure that knowledge was the only thing you gained? Or did you get a piece of me as well?"

 

Just like the clones, many more puppets showed up.

The puppetmaster grinned. He pulled out his last single puppet and began to craft it, a puppet of Xohka. He laughed madly while working on it.




Meanwhile...


Sora and Mickey kept trying to attack the force holding Kain in.

"We're not getting anywhere..." Sora mumbled.

"I can tell the battle has begun, we need to rescue him." Mickey spoke again. "I got an idea." He stated. He reached in his pocket and grabbed a star shaped crystal.

"A star shard?" Sora asked. Mickey nodded.

"Take my hand, we'll get Kain out of here and meet up with the others to help them out." Micket said to him. Sora nodded and took it. The star shard made them poof out.

They reappeared next to Kain to help battle the demon.

 

Matthias pushed the blade away, causing it to stab his right shoulder. "Looks like the pathetic child has actually grown up a bit. You sealed my powers, didn't you?" Matthias' ghostly aura formed again. "Correction. You sealed some of my powers." He stepped back, causing the blade to leave his body. "I was stabbed and killed once. I'm not gonna die by the same thing twice." In a flash, Matthias was behind Jaden. He kicked him down to the ground. "Wanna know what is worse about you sealing some of my powers? Not only have my clones dissapeared from the battle at Stonehenge, but I can't dispel them. So now I'm forced to focus on more than just you." His aura formed. He grabbed Jaden's soul. He began pulling it out. The soul came out halfway, but wouldn't go any further. "Aren't you lucky? I can't kill you this way." Matthias thrust the soul back into Jaden's body. Both Matthias' aura and physical body moved. So as Jaden's soul went into his body, Matthias' fist was right behind it to punch through Jaden's spine.

>That seems a little vague. He hasn't hit Jaden yet, but will probably break his back if he does hit.<

 

The possessed Raine watched the battle and soon the possession ended, very clear on who the winner was. Raine fell to the ground close near Jaden. Her eyes were closed. They soon began to blink open.

She turned her head and looked at Jaden. Part of her was sad, they failed. She understood now. It was when she was possessed.

During Possession

Raine stood in her mind. A man, unclear who the man was, he was possessing her though.

"Who are you?" Raine asked. The man turned around.

"Who I am is no importance, who you are is very important, you don't understand your destiny. There was a reason you and Jaden grew close so quickly, why a connection was easily made, Raine, you are a key. A key to the dominion, a key for Jaden. Without you Jaden couldn't be a wielder and without him you couldn't be you. You both live because of each other, one can't live much without the other. If one is slayed by the blade of the other, meaning Matthius's blade, then you would both die." The man explained. Raine was confused some but nodded.

"Angel meant to tell you, she never got the chance, a guardian of the Dominion can do only so much though." The man continued.

"I'm a little lost, what do you mean, I'm a 'key'?" Raine asked.

"You're like a servant to Jaden, you unlock the powers of Dominion for him." He explained.

"I think I may understand..." Raine stated.

End of scene....


Raine looked at Jaden.

"I'm sorry I couldn't help..." Raine told him. Raine closed her eyes hoping a connection was still open to Malisa.

'Malisa, you need to travel back in time, save Jaden before he first died 3 years ago, you must explain details to them so they can train, please you're the last hope.' Raine spoke in her mind also replaying the memory hoping Malisa would hear her and recieve the memory she had to explain to the past Jaden and Raine.

 

Matthias walked up to Jaden's body and picked him up. "And so a victor is decided. I will give you credit though. Had I not gained that 7% in the Dominion, you would have defeated me. But now, I will be the last thing you see." Matthias snapped his fingers, forcing Jaden's eyes to remain open. "You heroes have been a thorn in my side for too long. Now it ends here." Matthias' sword appeared in his hand. With one simple motion, he stabbed it through Jaden's heart. "Be glad. I ended your suffering."

His surroundings instantly changed. He was back at Stonehenge, still holding Jaden's dead body. Raine's body was at his feet. He picked up Raine's body and threw both bodies at Malisa. They both effortlessly passed through the barrier. "Your greatest hope died with Jaden." Both swords appeared in Matthias' hands. "Do what you wish. Remember this detail. No matter what you do, I win in this reality. Even if you do your time travel, your actions will not affect this conclusion. This result is but one of an infinite amount of times where I win. Just like there are an infinite amount of times that I lose."

Matthias' body again flew up to the Dominion. He entered it, closing the entrance behind him. He began absorbing the infinite knowledge again.
