"Okay...Just make sure you get enough rest got it? If you get injured you'll only hold us back. I CAME because I have a duty...since we're working together I have to at least make sure my ally is okay...even though I'm usually called 'Master of Deception'...I'm always on the move and betraying everyone. So don't trust me got it?" She let out a deep sigh; she grabbed his arm and placed it over her shoulder as they both began to travel to the throne room

"Let's help your brother and deal with the villagers already...! they're getting annoying with their complaining!" She quickly added to her last sentence but continued to go

 

"Yeah...great to know that at any moment I can find a knife in my back. That's right...the villagers, I forgot all about them. Once we get to the throne room we'll stop the fight and just improvise the rest. That sound fine?" Kaoru narrowed his eyes at Alex, strangely, but then refocused on the situation

~a few minutes away~
Aaron looked at the step were Kaoru used to be....he still held his sword close with an irritated expression
"He's gone...." he mumbled as he walked up the stairs and began to walk to where they WERE going to go

"Darn it!!!! Why aren't my attacks hitting her?!" He yelled inside himself as he continued to swing at her, filled with rage

 

Hikaru fell upon the ground with a 'thud' as he slowly lifted himself up
"Darn it...! I'm not about to lose to you...I can't lose...I've been training more harder then anyone! I'm not going to lose!" he slightly wobbled side from side, his vision slightly blurry, but his determination kept him on his feet

Aaron's footsteps echoed throughout the hallway as he sprinted, slashing small heartless while charging.
"This is why I hate heartless...they always follow you!" he complained, mumbling to himself, as he continued to charge through the heartless

 

Hikaru just stared at her hand, tempted to grab it. He slowly approached Destiny and stopped in front of her. He then looked at his own hand. He hesitated as his hand moved slowly towards her.

Alex and Kaoru soon arrived in the throne room, to see Hikaru in front of Destiny.
"Hika-" just as he was about to yell out his name his eyes turned cold and something 'disturbing' awoke.

He moved away from Alex and slowly walked towards Hikaru
"What do you think you're doing Hikaru...?" his voice sounded emotionless, as he glared at his brother with his cold eyes
"K-Kaoru!? You're okay! Where were you?" Hikaru swung around to see his brother, both happy and surprised at the same time
"I had some business to take care of....but what are you doing negotiating with them?" Kaoru crossed his arms and continued to stare
"I...I just thought...." Hikaru slightly looked away as he averted his gaze
"You thought you could do what? Suddenly change...? It's too late for us to change...if we get anymore weaker we'll never be able to destroy mother's killer. You said so yourself that we'll find him but how do we know that they'll help us? We already have been betrayed, once is enough Hikaru!" Kaoru clutched his fists as he slightly snarled at his brother

"Kaoru....Y-You're probably right....what was I thinking...for a second I thought I saw a small light, it must've been my imagination" Hikaru eyes were filled with regret as he slowly moved his hand away from Destiny's.

 

Listening to everything they had been saying from before Destiny's fight, Tom was piecing together the puzzle. He stood up completely and walked towards the fight, keyblade in hand. He grabbed Destiny's hand and pulled her away from Hikaru. "You're wrong. That is Kaoru. You heard Hikaru before. Their mother was killed. Kaoru wants revenge, and will do whatever it takes to achieve it. The fight will now be us two siblings against them. They're the same as us. If they are together, they will not be dissuaded from their goal. If we want to convince them otherwise, there is only one way. The only way the darkness understands. Brute force."

Tom sighed, cracking his neck. "Remember the anger Hikaru had when your fight began? Kaoru can reinforce the anger. As long as they are together, we cannot reach either one."

 

Alex slowly walked around the corner, a book in her hands, she took a few steps and then sat down near Kaoru and Hikaru, flicking through the pages

"Here he goes again...acting completely opposite to his usual self. Hey...you two with the ultima keyblade's...here's a question for you. Can you feel it...As if someone is watching you from afar? It's been looking for some time now...surely you must know who I'm talking about..." Alex deepened the tone of her voice, almost impossible to tell that she was a girl, as she took the role of a boy

She then looked up at Kaoru and then to her book.
"Anyway...you guys do whatever the hell you want, I'm not interested in you guys, your too boring and you don't look strong" she flicked to the next page quickly, still reading and writing things down

"But I must admit...I never expected such a pretty girl to be wield a keyblade...." she added, her voice still deep, as she continued to write things down

A girl with long brown hair ran through the corridors of a dark tower, clutching onto her cat on her chest, and ran through the door to see a man with blonde hair looming over a crystal ball
"Sorry I'm late Master! I had to grab some shopping since we ran out of milk and experiment materials...speaking of which I brought that gear component you needed for your latest test trial." The girl rested the cat on a table covered with papers and approached him, holding the object in her hands

"Hey...isn't that Kaoru...? The boy you told me about Master Hades? Sooo...he's the test trial? Oh! Can I, Can I PLEASE play with him! I won't break him I promise!" she rested the object to the man as she gazed at the ball, seeing the image of Kaoru

A twisted smirk appeared on his face as he watched the crystal ball, gazing at the battlefield
"I know your excited Alicia but let us see what happens..." he grabbed the gear component from her hands and a small gem stone, emitting a black glow, as it filled with power.

"There...now my experiment is in motion...this device that I have created infiltrate a person's mind and take over the entire nervous system and communication line. Allowing us to take procession of anybody we wish. I'll allow you to play with him for the moment besides...I'd like to test out the strength of the Ultima keyblades!" He gently threw the gadget at Alicia as she grabbed it. He glared at the ultima twins with fascination in his eyes

Kaoru began to laugh to himself as he pulled out his staff but this time there was no light glow.
"If I told you it wouldn't be fun would it...? I am what you see. Hikaru...take on Tom and I'll handle the island girl...looking at her face makes me feel nauseous" his eyes were blank, as if in a trance, as he aimed his staff at Destiny
"Got it! Let's teach these guys a lesson Kaoru! I won't be fooled again; with Kaoru here I won't lose!" courage swelled inside him as he jumped back to where his brother was, ready to engage battle.

"Let the game begin..." Hade's spoke to himself with a dark tone as he watched them, Alicia playing with the gadget.

 

Alex continued to ignore them as if they were nothing but flies to her. continued to read over her notes and then continue to write more.
"Don't mind me...I'm just sitting here doing my thing...so don't bother going after me because its a waste of time. Little kids like you really annoy me." She spoke boringly, still flicking through pages, and payed little attention to them

Alicia held the control pad with excitement and glared at the buttons
"Time to bring out the darkness in Kaoru's heart...lets test the hero's" Alicia turned the knob and then began pressing buttons, the wires inside the machine clicking into gear

 

Kaoru felt his heart race, his eyes turning black, as negative energy came off his staff.
"Let's do this Hikaru...if we want to find our father we have to finish this quickly. We can just self destinate this entire place with everyone in it if we wanted to." Kaoru's voice carried a cold feeling, enough to send shivers up a spine, as he prepared to engage Destiny
"Brilliant idea Kaoru! Let's finish this quickly!" Hikaru nodded to Kaoru's response and got ready to engage battle

 

"Don't start crying when you're on the floor." Tom spoke. He raised his keyblade up so it was pointing at Hikaru. "Fire." He shot several fireballs at his target. Without even making sure they hit, Tom rushed towards Hikaru. He swung with his keyblade, knocking Hikaru to the ground. "I know you're better. Get up. You can't kill your father if you can't even stand up to me." Tom chuckled a little bit. "And I'm the lazy one out of me and Destiny." Tom jumped back, getting away from any counter attack Hikaru would have done. "Your move."

 

"Go get them Kaoru! Show them who's boss!" Alicia yelled as she pressed the small gem as it geared into action

Alex just sat there and watched the fight commence, with a bored look on her face, but didn't close her book.

"You two have NO skill at magic...You guys need a tutor, seriously. Anyway...I think I'll just watch and observe your style of attack. So don't mind me..." Alex mumbled as she pulled out the pen again and continued to write things down

 

Hikaru pulled himself up from the ground and repositioned himself, trying to hold back his anger if possible. "I'm not going to lose to the likes of you!" his wooden sword turned into his blade as he flash stepped from different locations but getting closer and closer.

He soon re appeared behind Tom and clutched onto his head with his hand
"Dark Explosion!!!" he yelled before darkness formed at the palm of his hand and sent an explosion, sent him playing for a few meters but not a lot

A small tear gushed down Kaoru's left cheek strangely. He swung his staff around in circles, going faster and faster, and deflected whatever magic Destiny had cast. He heard a small click inside of him, like a command, and stopped moving all at once.
"Show them who's boss Kaoru!"

His hand slowly raised in the air, dark lightning surging at his hand as thunder clouds roared outside. With a 'bang' a bolt of lightning hit Kaoru's hand as he slowly aimed it at Destiny
"I'm not going to lose to him...! I WILL win!" he yelled loudly as the lightning crackled

"...move...get out...." he soon mumbled, as if he was struggling before the lightning charged at Destiny at tremendous speed

 

"This is so much fun!! I love this toy! Come on Kaoru...lets beat them!" Alicia began to jump up and down with excitement, pressing all of these buttons, as her master just watched.

Alex sat there, watching with interest, but acted as if it was nothing. In her book the page showed a sketched drawing of the ultima keyblade's, small writing underneath, as she continued to write more about the keyblade and its abilities,weaknesses and why it chose them.
