The Horrors of Dynast OOC/SU

is magic allowed? and what do you mean by job? are you referring to a job they may have had before the army or their job class as in mage and knight?

 

Name: Vent Markovic

Appearance: Minus the sword in his right hand and the shield on his left forearm. Only the armor and dagger.


Describe yourself: Vent is a quiet man. He only speaks when he must or when he is activating his abilites. He is highly intelligent but not very strong. Vent is more than willing to die for his beliefs or loved ones. In his spare time Vent enjoys playing chess with whoever will play against him.

Previous history: Vent was born and raised by his father in Dynast. His mother died in childbirth and his father treasures Vent as her last gift to him. His father was a proffesor for a while but then quit and began to run a business in warrior training. At the age of six, Vent happened to pick up a stick and perfectly mimic some of the advanced sword moves his father taught to his students. His father began training him that very day. Vent showed natural talent with multiple weapons so his father tested him in magic. Surprisingly Vent showed ability in that as well. As such his father decided to teach his son the family's secret fighting magic and style. Vent has since mastered all but the final phase of the Markovic style. It's referred to as Form of the Warrior and involves using magic to change weapons and strategies as a battle goes on. Vent has likened the many phases of the pieces of a chess board. As such in battle he will call the style change 'Form of ???' and call out a chess piece.

Recently his father became worried that something was going to happen that would ruin Dynast and asked Vent to investigate. Vent did and discovered a small military group would soon set out to check it so Vent inlisted and did what he could to get placed on that small group. A few weeks later and Vent's efforts paid off; he is the newest member to what's being called the expedition.

Appearance: Kyla's general Appearance

Describe yourself?: Kyla is a very strict person, often criticizing the bad behavior and habits of her teammates. Kyla can also be extremely impatient, disliking people who do not respond quickly. Despite her critical quirks in her personality, Kyla also has great sense of justice, and can never forget a debt, and will always make attempts to return the favor.

Previous history: Kyla maintains a relatively normal life, very close to her family. Her life remains this way until around the age of 3 when the last outbreak arose. Many lives were lost, and Kyla and her family fled the country going as far as Sharia. Many members of her family were lost, including her younger infant sister. her cousins, and her grandfather. At last, Kyla's family decided to settle in Sharia to forget the number of lost family members in the black forest. There Kyla grew up learning to fend for herself, and eventually, at 17, decided to separated from her family to grow as her own person, which led her to join the guild, Magus Trial where she honed her abilities for the next 10 years. That is when, Kyla takes an assignment in Dynast, assisting a young man with his request.
