Drive Forms

Naughts Skyway. Equip Bond of Flame and Oathkeeper set Firaga as a shortcut and use it on the creepers that appear in the area. When the gauge is around 1 remaining, go to the nearest savepoint very quickly and leave the world (This is a glitch that happens when you leave a world while in Drive, you return and it will be full) Ethers make things quicker but may not be worth the money.

 

Easiest area is TMTNW. You can go through it and then travel to TT and go back and do the same thing over and over.

 

When I first started leveling up Final Form, I went to the Old Mansion in Twilight Town, started from the Save Point in the room with the computers and the beam which takes you to the alternate TT, and killed all the Nobodies in the library. Then I went back to the Save Point and did the Drive Gauge glitch, repeating it. Once the Form stayed on for a longer amount of time I started to go from the Computer room's Save Point to Naminé's room's Save Point.

I find that method better than going to The World That Never Was, because the Nobodies are quicker to kill. :3 But everyone has their own way, haha.

 

No problem. ;3 Just try out everything you can think of and you are bound to find the best option.

 

Leveling Forms...for lack of a better title

Warning: there's a slight bit of mild reading ahead. I apologize in advance for this and I'll probably apologize again later. Sorry to bother everyone with this but I wanted to ask around before I spent the time compiling the list myself. I guess I should explain.

As you may or may not have noticed, while you're going through the game there are points when Donald and Goofy aren't attached to Sora. That is to say, rather than following Sora through an area of whatever world you're in at the time they'll be walking around on their own. From what I remember this happens in most, if not all, of the worlds at some point or another.

I'd found these spots to be most advantageous to leveling up a form; particularly Valor and Wisdom in the earlier parts of the game. If you leave this area, use a form and return to this area before your drive gauge runs out you'll automatically be reverted to normal and your drive gauge will be full again. Lather, Rinse, Repeat and you've a steady way to gain lvls on forms. The only thing you may have to do is leave the world so the enemies reset.

Does anyone happen to have, or know where I might find, a list of these areas and the corresponding point in the storyline that they're active? I was trying to explain all this to my sister since she wants to lvl forms as she goes but she's not the most observant person at the best of times and it's been a while since I played so I don't remember where they all are or when they show up.

I've tried doing a few searches on different forums and I'm finding that its not exactly easy. Search engines are either far too under-specific or I have a problem weeding through posts that may help and BS posts that just happen to have the words or phases I was searching for.

If no one knows of a list like this it's no big deal. It'll just mean that I'll have to sit down with my trusty old laptop, fire up a round of KHII and mark the locations and story points myself as I go. Tiresome and tedious though it may be, if it hasn't been done I have no problem doing it. It'll help me in the long run and maybe help other people out along the way as well and that's always a perk.

I apologize for the length of this post and I know most gamers/forum hoppers can't be bothered with all this reading at times (I'm guilty of that myself) and if you actually read all of this then you deserve more than just a thank you. Again I'm truly sorry.
