Heartless Unbound!

Jordan looked over to Radiant Gardens and saw the sun become barely visible. He looked to Hikaru and said, "Are you sure it's wise to go into town at this time? By the time we get there, the moon will be shining and the Heartless will be out." He himself had no problem with the darkness. It was Hikaru's safety he was worried about.

 

Hikaru smirked. "I'm down in the town every night I try to protect the people at night." Hikaru told him. "Besides I need some practice on using a keyblade."


Lynx nodded and followed Sin as they entered out to the city. They walked through the city her senses on full alert feeling every being in the city picking out on the most delicous hearts.

She continued to walk but then stopped. She looked up.

"So tasty and a dark being. Two beings, a being of light, a being making my mouth water, and a being of darkness." Lynx explained.

 

Lynx grinned wildly and saw a woman scared holding a little girl. The woman appeared to be pregnant.

"HEARTS!" Lynx shouted launching at them. The little girl screaming. Lynx was over top the little girl but stopped. Something seemed familiar about this, too familiar. She looked down at the scared little girl. She was hungry though. She pushed her hand through the little girl's chest and pulled out a heart as a pool of darkness appeared below her pulling the unconcious girl through. Lynx stood up closing her hand around the heart. It was her's now. She turned for the mother crying.


Hikaru heard the screams and became silent. She looked in the general direction, heartless galore.

"Oh no..." Hikaru whispered. She quickly jumped off the cliff landing down on the ground below and ran as fast as possible.

Soon she stopped seeing tons of heartless everywhere.

Staring at her as if she was a delicious meal. The heartless approached her more and more as everyone else was eaten like a meal, she was a dessert a sweet dessert of light inside her heart.

Hikaru had flash backs of the night she was almost taken. She gripped her keyblade faster her body glowing some.

"You'll pay!" Hikaru yelled running through the heartless swinging at them rapidly defeating the heartless. Hikaru stopped and turned around and saw the heartless fall. And suddenly they all glowed as hearts rose to the sky and disappeared. 'What was that...?' Hikaru thought to herself.

'You doing your job as a keybearer.' Hikaru gasped hearing the voice in her head. 'Do not be afraid Hikaru. This is your destiny.' The voice said again. 'Now hurry!' The voice said. Hikaru nodded. She quickly continue running along.

She ran through the streets as they got buisier with more and more heartless. She swung at them all. She came to an open plaza most of the heartless defeated. Hikaru looked off in the distance in the plaza and saw a large black pool of darkness, heartless crawling out constantly. Hikaru stopped hearing a little girl scream. She looked and saw Sin and some other girl. The other girl was holding a heart in her hand and closed her hand around it. Hikaru saw the girl look at someone else, a woman. The girl was about to launch at the woman.


Lynx launched forward but felt her body burn some against something making her fall back. She looked and saw what it was.

"A keyblade." Lynx stated surprised but licked her lips. "A delicious treat." Lynx said. The woman quickly ran off.

Hikaru looked up at the girl and instantly froze. That girl she had the same facial features as her.

Lynx looked at the keybearer and stopped seeing the same facial features as her. Lynx growled in a low growl at the girl.

"Who are you?" Lynx asked the keybearer.

"I'm Hikaru, a keybearer." Hikaru told her. "Who are you?" Hikaru asked confused by the similar feature both girls had with each other.

Jordan looked and saw Hikaru was already in the city, fighting a horde of Heartless and a mysterious girl. "Of course something odd and bizzare happens. It always does," Jordan mumbles. He hops off the cliff and lands on his feet behind Hikaru. "Who's this chick? She looks.....different," Jordan whispered to Hikaru. He then yelled out to the strange girl, "Who are you, and are you the cause of these Heartless?" Jordan hadn't even noticed, nor smelt, his brother was nearby.

 

Jordan stood there, speechless. 'No, it can't be. He's really....behind me,' Jordan thought. In the 2 seconds he stood still Jordan felt terrified. Than without a second thought or warning, he spinned around, drew his guns and screamed, "SIN!" He satred him directly in the eyes and saw nothing but what had been growing after all these years, a monster. Jordan's red ruby eyes glowed in the darkness of the night from his anger and rage. "Give me one gid damn reason why the hell I should blow your brains out! And I am no longer your scared little brother Sin. I am a NEW man, MY OWN man."

 

Jordan's anger grew but in his heart he knew he had to control it before it got the best of him. Jordan twirled his guns and slowly walked towards Sin. Soon he began picking up speed before he began to run at full speed towards Sin. "You know, I still have your little 'present' you left me," Jordan yelled to Sin. He put his gun back in it's holder, raised his left arm, and showed his demonic like metal claw. He began to shoot bursts of darkness at Sin hoping it would do some sort of harm.

 

Snapping up as if awaking from a dream, Gryphon stood up and faced Sky, "Sorry, gotta run," he said before running swiftly away. He eventually reached the town in which he saw two people of the dark fighting. He easily recognized the one with the sycthe. "Sin......" Gryphon growled. Summoning his keyblade of light and darkness, he bounded after the mad man with his back turned to him, "COME DARKNESS!!!" he screamed, slashing thin air with his keyblade, sending an arc of dark energy towards Sin.

 

Hikaru and Lynx watch the two begin to battle. Lynx turned back around and grinned.

"So if you must know, my name is Lynx, a nobody of the Night." Lynx told Hikaru. Hikaru stood keyblade in hand as Lynx grinned. "And you are my dinner." Lynx stated leaping forward. Hikaru quickly slid to the left and jumped back at Lynx quickly as she moved past her. Lunx was tackled to the ground by Hikaru's keyblade.

"I don't think I'm anybody's dinner." Hikaru stated. Lynx body then blasted her with darkness throwing Hikaru back.

 

Taking a step back, Gryphon lifted his keyblade up into the air, "LIGHT! PROTECT ME!!!" as he said this, a sphere of light appeared around him, intercepting the blow from Sin's sycthe, locking eyes with Sin, he growled, "I've been looking for you, you bastard."

 

Jordan shot Gryphon in the back with his own gun. "You'll stay the hell out of my way if you know what's good for you," he growled at Gryphon. 'Unnecessary Jordan. You're losing conrtol again,' he thought to himself. He looked at Sin and said, "Now where were we? Oh yes." Jordan hopped towards Sin and drew his second gun. He shot both his guns at Sin in unison at him, shot after shot after shot. Jordan thought arroganly that he had Sin beat and there was no way he could come back form this one.

 

Getting up, Gryphon interrupted Jordan's barrage by holding his keyblade at Jordan's throat, "Listen," he whispered, "I don't know what your beef is with this guy, and frankly I don't care, but if we have a common enemy, then I'm willing to share. how about you?"

 

'Who the hell...stay in control...does this guy...don't lose it....think he is,' Jordan thought to himself. He wanted to murder the boy that seemed to keep getting in his way in killing his brother. "THIS is family business boy. I've been training years for this moment, so I don't plan on sharing." Jordan shoved the boy out of his way and saw he was out of rounds for his guns. 'Damn kid made me waste precious ammo,' he thought. But rather than reloading, he simply drew his two swords and began a barrage of attakcks on Sin.
