What level were you?

You should be fine. I think I usually get to that boss fight at around 45.

 

Ya,level 51 is enough.I was in the mid 40s as well before the final boss.You can even beat the bonus bosses at that level,though 50s would be wise for them.But you have that covered.

You still can level up during the final boss run,though it shouldnt really matter.No new game + and all.

 

im with toph, i was a 85 when i fought ansem, only cuz i was trying to beat all the bosses at the Colosseum. But i mean it depends what difficulty you have it on too. i did mine on proud mode. even in the 80s ansem was had for me.

 

I agree with Toph on Proud mode levels.

To me,the bosses on Normal and Proud didnt change at all in diffuculty,just the normal heartless battles.Strange,but it could just be me.

 

I think it is you. When I had my hard mode profile, I couldn't beat the last Riku boss. I haven't tried hard mode in a long time, but I never got past that point.

 

51 is fine for Ansem. might wanna boost yourself to the 60s for the optional bosses though unless you're really skilled. never fight Sephiroth before 80 though, it's suicide.

i was 52 when i first fought him and didn't have much trouble. have a couple elixers just in case if you're unsure.

 

Depends on the boss. I've managed to defeat the Phantom in the late 50's, and gotten rather close to defeating Kurt Ziza with the same level. I could probably beat the Ice Titan at the same level, but it'll most likely take half an hour. If you can manage to defeat Sephiroth at such a low level, more power to you. I heard that's how somebody went from 80 to 90 in a short amount of time. He just kept on beating Sephiroth. Personally, I have to be higher, probably in the 80's, and I think I also need Ultima Weapon. I don't remember what I used the last time I beat him.

 

Average level to beat Ansem is the 50's. Just make sure you get a lot of potions and elixers.

Ok,below proud level for Ansem,anwhere above 40 is fine.Pround,atleast high level 40s.

Optional bosses below pround,Mid 40s,proud mode,mid 50s.We pretty much all agree on this (Atleast for Ansem).

 

Do you meen his charge attack or the one where Ansem is in the middle of the battlefield while the Guardian comes out of dark portals from the ground?Either way,dodge roll is your best friend,and the first one,I believe you can block it with Guard.

 

You should be able to beat him pretty easily at level 40-50. You just need to be quick but patient. The Shortcuts always helped me. Aero, Heal & Elixir is the best ones to use, because they're the ones you'll be needing in a hurry.

Ars Arcanum can always help, but only if you can spare the magic instead of healing.

I was around level 40 when i first faced him, & i didn't really think it was that challenging. The Riku boss previous to that was more difficult than this fight by my opinion.

 

As we are talking about the final boss it really depends on what mode you are talking about. To point it out we are talking KH1 so there is no proud, but odds are everyone means hard. Anyway, 51 should be enough, I would recommend 60ish if playing on hard. I beat it at level 40 so it shouldn't be that much of a problem(I wouldn't recommend trying this if you get frustrated easily like me and enjoy dying multiple times) .. Usually I would prefer a level 80-90 as Toph said.

 

That level range for the final boss is kinda overkill. That's usually the level you are at once you've beaten the game and done damn near everything else. For a first time attempt against the final boss, 60 should be the highest you are at unless you are deliberately waiting until you're too high of a level.

 

i was trying to beat everybody before i went to the last boss, to me the first fight with him was hard, i dont know why, maybe because of his heartless shield, or what but it took me three tries to beat him. With Sep i was a level 86 or 84, im not sure but i know it was 80 and he still kicked my tail,

 

Exactly.Based on other games with levels,you will probably be in the level 50s by the time you get to the final boss unless you really push yourself to get up there before then.KH itself isnt too hard a game compared to other games with levels (my opinion).70s-80s would defentily be enough,but you dont need to work up to those levels to beat Ansem.There is only one game that I got to levels like that for the final boss.It wasnt for the final boss,but I was having a lot of trouble with a late game boss.Dont anymore.Generally though,from what you said,you just need to figure out the boss attacks and how to dodge or,if able,stop them.

In short,again,level is fine.You will probably even get to level 52 or 53 before the end (since you still get exp,which I find strange).
