    Chapter 4: Through Japan's night

Faust looked up at the man in white as he took his sword out of the beastial fox. The blade was covered in the fox's dark red blood. The man looked at down at the beast's body as it faded away from existence. "Its seems that this fox lerned a new trick." He then looked at the sword and said "How disgusting." Then with one swipe of his sword, the blood flew off of the sword and onto the ground. The man then looked at the sword and said "Ah." "Looks as good as new." He then turned his head to Faust and said "Wouldn't you agree?" Faust nodded and said "Yeah but why are you here?" The man put the sword into the sheath and said "I'm here because I am." "Thats why." Faust then thought to himself "Thats not even an answer." Faust then said "What was that thing?" The man then replied with "That was a fox." "Actually a Kitsune, a demon fox." "Though I don't know why its out of the forest." "Thats usually where they live." He walked over to Faust and grabbed him by his arm. He pulled him up and said "You should really careful." "Who knows if there will be more coming out of the forest tonight.." Faust dusted himself off and said "Well thank you very much." "Now I must be going." As Faust started walking, the man spoke up. "I thought we were going to meet at the tower." Faust looked at him and said "Huh?" He then remembered about the what the guy said back on the boat. "Oh yeah." "Shibuya Tower." The man nodded and said "Yes." "Meet me there at midnight tonight." "I'll be waiting." He then started walking off into the uknown darkness as Faust stood there. "That guy....... there's something.... mysterious about him."

    Chapter 4 part 2

As the man walked through the streets in the dark city, he stopped and looked around for a mintute. "Hmm...... something is not right here." He kept looking around until he said "I better keep my guard up." He then his right hand on the grip of his sword and kept on walking ahead. WHile the man was walking off into the distance, a portal appeared and a being in a cloak as dark as the night appeared. The being watched the man kept on walking far into the night ahead and smiled. "Hmm." "I see that he took out my little pet." He smirked and said "No matter." "This is just the beginning." He then opened a portal and walked into it.

    Faust

As he walked his way back to the hotel, Faust thought about what happened earlier. He kept replaying the image of the white cloaked man killing the fox. "That man...... who is he?" "I mean is he some kind of warrior or is he just some ancient hero?" He shook his head and said "What am I saying?" "I bet hes just some crazy old man that just loves playing hero so he dresses up and kills freaky creatures." "Yeah, thats it." He then stopped and said "But..... what if its more than that?" He sighed and said "This night is getting more and more strange."

    Chapter 4 part 3

As Faust stood there in the cold dark night, the clouds started to rain down on the earth. Faust felt a couple of raindrops and started slowly raising it up to the sky. He looked at the black clouds above him as they kept crying their tears down to the ground. He sighed as he brought his head down and said "Just my luck." "Its now raining." So he brought up the collar of his jacket and started running to the nearest place of shelter. "I got to find somewhere to keep dry while the rain goes on." As he kept running trhough the rain filled night he heard a scream. "Ahhhhhh!" He stopped and said "What was that?" He then started running towards the source of the scream. 2 minutes later he was in the market section of the city looking around for the source of the sound he heard earlier. As he looked around, he noticed that there was no one on the streets. "I guess they fled because of the rain." As he walked around, he saw a shadow moving in a dark alley. "Hmm... maybe thats the source." He then started slowly walking into the alley. As he walked in, he saw two shadows standing there. "Who are they?' Then as he got closer, he stopped and immediately knew who they were. "No." It was the girl he talked to before being cornered by a kitsune. She was standing there with fear in her eyes. "Please...go away." But the fox only growled in response. As it got closer, the girl said again "Please.... go away." But it still growled as it got closer. WHen it started make another step a rock flew at it's feet. It turned its head as Faust stood there. "Leave her alone."

    Chapter 4 part 4

The beast snarled ferociously at Faust as he stood there with a couple of rocks in his left hand. "Heh." "I guess this won't be my lucky day then." While he faced off with the fox, the girl that stood back to the wall was surprised by what she was seeing. That is when she spoke up. "F.....Faust?" He grinned and said "Yep" as he looked at her. "Did you.....come here to save me?" Faust nodded and said "Yeah, I am." That is whenshe blushed and said "Why.....thank you." as she looked away embarassingly. Faust nodded and said "You're welcome." As he said that, the fox let out a loud roar from its small mouth. From that sound, Faust flinched from it and said to her "I guess we'll talk more later." She nodded and said Be careful, Faust." He nodded and got into a fighting stance. That is when the fox got into a pounicng position and waited for Faust to make his mouth. He grinned and said "Bring it." That is when the fox charged and pounced on him as he fell down down to the ground. The fox try getting it's fangs on him but he kept pushing it away. "Get off me!" Thats when he kick it off and jumped on his feet. The fox did the same and got ready to charge again. As it charged, quickly got out of the way and kicked it in it's right side. The fox stumbled back as it was hit. While it getting itself back up, the girl shouted out to Faust. "Faust." "Theres a pipe right there by the garbage can." Faust saw it by him and grabbed it. "Thanks." That is when swung it like a sword a few times and got back into his stance. He looked at fox with a grin on his face and said "Bring it."

    Chapter 4 part 5

The fox was getting annoyed by Faust so much that he completely ignored the girl behind her and turned all of his anger and insane bloodthirst towards Faust. Faust saw how angry it was by looking into its dark eyes. "It seems really angry at me." "I guess I'm that annoying to it." He thought to himself as he laughed at his last statement. As this happened, the fox started slowly moving towards him. Faust focused his sight on it and waited to retaliate when the fox attacks him. After a few more seconds the fox gave up on being slow and started charging right at him. Only this time it was really fast. "Whoa!" Faust exclaimed as he watched the level of speed the fox was going at. As it ran at him Faust swung out his pipe and luckily hit the right side of the fox's face. The impact from the pipe knocked the fox out cold on the ground. When Faust saw this, he shocked by how hard he hit it. "Wow." "I guess I got lucky today." He then turned his attention to the girl on the back wall. He looked at her and said "Are you ok?" She nodded and said "Yes, I am." "Thank you Faust san." Faust nodded and said "You're welcome miss." She blusehd and said "My name is Sayoko." "Sayoko Shima." Faust then said "What a beautiful name." Her face then got redder and said "Thanks.....Faust." He laughed and said "You're welcome." "Anyways, I better get going." "I'm glad you're ok." He then turned around and started walking away from the alley. While he was walking away, Sayoko held her right hand on her chest and said "Thank god I'm alive." ".....THank you Faust san." She then started walking out of the alley and went on her way home.

After 20 mintues of walking, Faust was in the sight of a large tower-like structure towering before him. It had sign on it that said Shibuya at the top of the tower. "Shibuya tower." "I made it."

    Chapter 4 part 6

Faust gazed at the giant tower-like structure in front of him. He was truly amazed by the tower's outside

structure. It was a large tower that looked like it was shooting towards the sky. It was made out of brownish-red

bricks and looked marvelous in the moonlight. "Wow. The tower looks beautiful." After he said, there was a loud

creak that made Faust look instantly at the now opening doors of the tower. Out of them sprawled out the man

in white who told him to come to this marvelous structure. "You have come. I've been

    expecting you, Mr. Hewley."
Said the man in white as he walked towards the young silver haired

hero. "Well sorry that I took long. I kinda got into some troulbe but no worries now. So, why am I here and who

are you?" The man looked at Faust for a moment and then suddenly turned his back to him. With a calm voice he

said "Your question will be answered but first we must get into the tower. The beasts of the

night will get restless as the moon shine it's brightest at this hour."
The man then walked into tower,

leaving Faust in the gleaming white moonlight. As he stood there a loud howl hung in the air, piercing the air and

Faust's ears. He gripped his ears and said "It's like a wolf's howl. The old man is right. I better get in there." He

then ran into the building, closing the doors as he went in. He was now in a round room. The inside of the tower

was not what you expect in a tower. Stading in the middle of the room was a long black table with seven chairs

around it. On the walls were built in candles that had burning orange-red flames at the tips of the burning wax

sticks. He looked up to see that there was no ceiling. Just a row of staircases going to the top of the tower." Where

is the starting staircase?" As he said that, another voice appeared behind him. "Up there but you

need a special way to get to them."
Faust looked back and saw the man walking towards him. "Who are

you?" The man exhaled a deep breath and said "My name is Byaku and I'm here to train you,

    young Hewley."

    Chapter 5: Training part 1

Faust and the man knowned as Byaku gave each other a non emotional look as stood there in dimly lit room.

After a few moments of silence Faust broke it by saying "What kind of training is this that you want me to go

through?" Before he gave Faust his answer, old man Byaku walked towards the table in the middle of the room.

He pulled out one of the seven chairs and sat down on it, while pulling out a golden chained watch out of his coat

pocket. He then said in a quiet tone "It is time." Faust gave him a quizzical look and

said "Time for what?" But as he said that, the candles around suddenly started flicking out one by one. "What the?!

What's going on!?" That is when his question was answered for the ground below them started shaking and a

strange rumbling sound filled the air. Faust, who was in total shock, looked at Byaku and said "What did you do?!"

The elder warrior turned his attention to the young Hewley and said "I'm taking you to the place

we need to go. You're training ground."
