Official Gummi Ship Discussion Thread.

Shadow, this is not for discussing the ships, but for you to post your ships and show em off. It might help newer players looking to build some really good ones with getting ideas. Never forget this forums is supposed to be about all aspects of kh, not just the story line stuff. Seems like everyone has forgotten. That said I will edit once i can figure out how to shrink my image sizes so i can upload them.

 

This actually consumed me for a little while. But seen as though I need an av cable for the PS2 and a better controller I couldn't tell you anything about mine.

I remember that in KH the Gummi Ships were terrible, but then again I went from KH2 to KH so it was a difficult change. The magazine review that led me to buy KH2 said that the Gummi Ship levels in the original KH, "Felt more like a trial than a bonus feature." and I would agree.

 

The gummi ship in both games to me were boring, I hated both, but oddly I enjoyed KH1's more than Kh2's *shrugs*. I guess its a personal preference .

 

In both I only upgraded existing ships,though i did less of that in II because of the ships they gave you.There wasnt really much of a point in KH to use the gummi ship after getting warp unless I was bored,and in II I didnt do much of the extra gummi ship missions,though that was more laziness then anything else.

 

Hated Gummi ship, everything about it was so annoying, including the music (or maybe it only felt annoying?), the best part about Gummi ships for me, that when i was using them, i was listening to my ipod at the same time.

 

The ship mission in KH2 for Agrabah had good music if you ask me.Some of the music was a little annoying though.

 

When I first played KH2, the gummi ship thing was a big change for me. I got used to it at some point.

In KH1, I would build a few ships that were better than the original. But once I got all 101 dalmatians (Thereby getting the complete gummi set) and got the blueprint for the Leviathan, I just created one of those. It is my favorite ship in that game. At least 12 laser gummis for attack, and I'd add a Haste 2 gummi, the complete shield gummi, and any other optional things I could.

As for KH2's gummi ship stuff, I would just use whatever was the best Falcon blueprint I had. And once I got the Falcon Peak (Which, in my oppinion, is the best gummi ship they give you), I would make my own version of it that was the same, except with more abilities. With this gummi ship, I could get an S rank on all but one of the 1 and 2 missions, and get S+10 rank on almost all of the 3 missions.
