So finally back, and boy do I got some stuff to fill you guys in on, but for future referance next time any of you can do it, it's not hard, PM me if you want to learn how to report news and everything.

Normura has just released some new information to KH13 in an interview about the new mystery Kingdom Hearts title, Kingdom Hearts 3D. He still isn't releasing a whole lot, but it's a start...

The last we've heard from Kingdom Hearts 3D, the newest Kingdom Hearts game for the 3DS, was during E3. In the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation, director Tetsuya Nomura has given more information on the title in an interview translated by KH13.com. The inteview details such things like why the 3DS was chosen for the platform, some key story elements, and the story's theme.

On the creation of Kingdom Hearts 3D, Nomura noted that Nintendo approached him and asked him to make the game. Nomura says he has a unique idea for this title. The title will be in the same timeline as the current games, and the main characters will be Sora and RIku. The two appear to be "alternating" throughout the game. The 3DS's 3D capabilities will be used in the game, but there isn't any more information at this time.

Nomura says the story is full of mystery and will be beyond expectations. Players will seemingly have to think about the story as they play the game to understand the timeline and not be confused. Maybe there's some sort of time travel or something similar in the game? Nomura says players will realize the scenario as they progress through the game. The theme of the game is going to be "trust."

By the time TGS or another event rolls by, we should hopefully get some more information on some of the gameplay elements and what Nomura is talking about in regards to the story via a trailer.

Well some more good news for our Kingdom Hearts fans in Europe. Square Enix has announced a special edition package of Kingdom Hearts BBS. As I reported before that you were going to be getting some extra stuff, you will even be getting more making me extremely jealous...

Of all the original IPs that Square Enix created during their glory days on the PlayStation 2, none can compare to the greatness that is the Kingdom Hearts series. When the idea for the series was first announced, many passed it off as a crossover that would never work. Little did they know it would become one of the company’s most popular franchises ever. The next ‘official’ entry in the series, KH: Birth by Sleep which is actually a prequel to the first game and will (hopefully) explain some of the convoluted storyline of the series. Square Enix isn’t pulling any punches as have recently revealed that KH:BBS will be getting a Special Edition, but it looks like our European mates have the upper hand this time.

For those of you diehard European Kingdom Hearts fans who are willing to shell out a few more dollars (or pounds in this case), you will be receiving the game, a special edition case, a 48-page ” The Art of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep” artbook AND exclusive BBS art prints. Not too shabby, eh? Also, I think we can all imagine there will be some crazy ‘after the credits’ video teasing you about the NEXT Kingdom Hearts game that probably won’t hit until the PlayStation 4, knowing SE’s track record. Ugh.
If this is announced for the US, we shall let you know. Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep arrives exclusively on the PSP (Square Enix WON’T release a digital copy for the PSP go for some reason) on September 7th in the US and September 9th in EU. Make sure you read PlayStation LifeStyle’s review when it hits to discover if it’s another Triple A Kingdom Hearts title or another ‘Princess and the Frog’.

Good news fans, Square Enix has just announced Re:Coded Japanese release date being October 7, 2010. Now some of you are probably thinking, that's just Japan! Now think about it. If that's the Japanese release date, here in America we may see the game between December 2010-March 2011! So it's getting close and we'll soon be playing the epic game on our DS's soon enough.

Well another interview was found also as Normura discusses Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep for North America...

- The North American release date of Birth by Sleep is approaching soon.
Nomura: It’s on September 7th huh. There were various elements added, so it changed a bit. With Mark Hamil as Master Eraqus and Leonard Nimoy as Master Xehanort, it’s like a dream recital contest between Star Wars and Star Trek. Besides that, a mysterious enemy character was also added. Since it’s terribly strong, you might think it’s unbeatable! The debuggers opinions of it went like “I don’t want to meet it a second time!” and “After 20 times I was finally able to beat it once!”
- Is it stronger than the Vanitas Sentiment?
Nomura: We took a survey, and it seemed people had the feeling that the Vanitas Sentiment was stronger, though fighting the new character was overwhelming more difficult. However, relating to ability of technique, obviously the new character is stronger. It keeps attacking with heinous techniques. As an opponent, compared to the Vanitas Sentiment, it’s hard to tell what it’s next move will be. If I had to say so, this time the new character is a similar type as the Lingering Sentiment from Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. What will it’s next attack be, you can’t tell! It’s quite unpleasant.

- This new character must be someone involved in the story, right?
Nomura: I think it’d seem so, but at the point in time of Birth by Sleep, this person’s true figure isn’t fully understood. Similar to the way the Lingering Sentiment was, its a character who at the present time is an existence of mystery.
- What are the other points that changed from the original?
Nomura: Really fine details were added to every place, but on the contrary, since Mega Flare was too powerful we weakened it. Other points include since we got feedback that the award for beating the Vanitas Sentiment wasn’t good enough, you now become able to use Vanitas’ Keyblade after defeating him. While we revised things like that, as far as the playable elements go, it’s as good as the original. Well, this tradition of revising is a mark of the Kingdom Hearts series, isn’t it?
- Will there be a new secret movie?
Nomura: Unfortunately not. We didn’t have time to add in something to that extent. But on the other hand I can say with confidence that there is a secret movie being prepared for Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded. Please look forward to the contents of it that weren’t in the mobile version. Since so many people wanted to see a secret movie in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, we kept that in mind this time around.

i got to say, i thought i couldnt post news up here and it was your job.

I like the re coded, im getting that for sure. I like how they have some many ways to fight, Looks like they have FF battle style, regular kh style, and other kind. I like how the story might be and that theres a secret movie at the end. Plus i love soras new attacks. thanks for this.

I can't believe they're not releasing BBS in digital copy form! I literally got my PSP just to play BBS. Since it was a Christmas present my parents accidentally got the PSP go, but I was cool with that until now. T_T

Ok so what I learned from this.

A. KH3d is going to be cool
B.I have changed my thoughts about KH Re Coded it looks sweet.
C.Boxes are sik! (Refering to coded)
D. Europeans are lucky!
E. Don't get a psp go. I was going to but now that bbs isn't going to be downloadable im just gonna stick with my 3000.
F. Save up for the futer. PS4 cough cough, because if i don't save up im screwed. My parents wont let me get one unless i pay for it in full. I just got a ps3 last christmas.

So ya im exited for the future of kh!!!

Square Enix is making a Kingdom Hearts game for the Nintendo 3DS. The main characters will be Sora and Riku, and players will alternate between them while playing as they make their way through the game's "mysterious" story. How...mysterious!

While unable to go into great length about the game system, designer Tetsuya Nomura says that the developers are thinking about "falling down" as a key point for the game.

"What I want to do is make a Kingdom Hearts you can touch," the designer adds, making the following pun. "A falling 'Sora' and a flying 'Riku'."

"Sora" is not only the name of a Kingdom Hearts character. It also means "sky" in Japanese. Likewise, "Riku" can mean "land".

"I guess the game's theme would be trust," Nomura says. There are things in the game that players cannot do alone and thus, players will need to have have trust in order to be successful.

For the Nintendo 3DS Square Enix will start with Kingdom Hearts, Nomura continues, and then they are thinking of branching out to other franchises.

Well I did see someone made a comment just like you on a review I found yesterday for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and to my understanding of what others responded to that comment, Australia is sort of thrown in with Europe, why I don't know you're your own continent and country, but whatever. I will definately try to scavage around for some Australian KH news, but as you said dang you Square Enix

Well Europe and Australia use the same region code and we do get games at the same time (usually). I just want to know if Australia will also get that box that Europe is getting. Fortunately I'm a patient person.
