    So can anybody tell me how to make sigs and avatars? i know of photo shop but are there any more that i can use to make them? If you know of any pls tell me. thx.

    Umm, firstly, there are other sources you can use to make avatars or signatures.

    For starters, even though I hate GIMP, I would recommend it to you. It's simple and easy.

    And for all that a lot of people bitch that it sucks, I have seen some good signatures and avatars made with it, so it's worth trying out.

    DeviantArt has some GIMP tutorials, if you're wanting some. Maybe they can help.

    If you don't end up liking GIMP, you could try Paint Shop Pro. That's the only other program besides Photoshop that I know of, though there probably are others. I've only ever used Photoshop, so I couldn't tell you how easy any of the others are to learn.

    but if you can afford it, nothing beats Photoshop. it's easy and with some practice, professional stuff is easy.

    Corel Draw 11 is the newest one, a good program but hard to pick up at first as is mainly made for tablet drawing.

    Just google "TPB Photoshop" and see what you can get.

    thanks everyone. i tried gimp but didnt like it, but i'll try to other ones. maybe i'll just go to photoshop, but thanks everyone.

    You can buy Photoshop Elements for about $50, it's cheeper than the $600 Photoshop Creative Suites, I use to use that, but I don't have it on my new computer.

    You can use GIMP if you don't have money. It works good.
