The words of the guards either made Rachel angry, or scared, or both, she couldn't decide. Rachel shrugged.
"I only kind of know them from my dad's work. And there's a fine line between being brave and just being stupid! And if you charge out there and expose both of us in front of two high ranking guards, that's like a death wish!" Rachel whispered, then sighed.
    "I got this."
Rachel scooted over to the door and shoved it open, it's rusty hinges making a less-than-pleasant nose, and she stepped outside. She blinked as her eyes adjusted to the contrast of the darkness of the room and the brightness of the outside. She briefly glanced between the two parting officers and glanced back at Hikari, putting on her best "innocent little girl" act, which she had mastered fairly well.

Erebos pushed open the newly refurbished door that led to the outside world and sauntered down the pale yellow path to Disney Town. He had planned to make a surprise appearance in the marketplace, since it gave his image a greater since of humanity, and made the people think more fondly of him. Which was never a bad thing. He gave a friendly nod to the guards at the gate and they let him through.
The guards had stopped escorting him to town after they had realized that he was stronger than most all of them, and if they were stronger than him fear kept them in place.

As the door was opened, the Raven on the man's shoulder growled - and immediately the man took out his bow and loaded it with an arrow, now pointing it at Rachel. The people who had passed the street now glanced at the guard and the girl fearing the worst. The man let out his grip of the string holding the arrow as it launched straight towards Rachel's head. The arrow was fast that it almost couldn't be seen by the eye, and it slightly hit Rachel's hair, taking few strings with it to the wall of the house. After taking the bow to his back, the man approached the girl, taking his hood off and bending down to her level.

"How's your pops doing, Rachel? You're slow as always!" The man grinned and messed up Rachel's hair with his hand as the Raven came back to his shoulder growling and staring Rachel with cold, liveless eyes.

Hikari saw what happened and instanly her keyblade showed up. "How could someone just shoot at a girl, granted that he missed, but still." Hikari whispered. She looked at the raven and saw it staring at her with cold eyes. "Something's not right..." Hikari whispered again. She stayed low inside and headed to the back and climbed up onto the roof of the house and hid there watching from above.

Rachel gasped and her eyes widened as the arrow snipped off a little of her dark brown curls. She released her breath as he greeted her. 'Does he always have to do that?!' she thought uneasily.
"Ha, I guess so!" she grinned. "Oh, he's doing fine." she smiled putting some hair behind her ear. "You know, when he's not on the job he's working on that new restaurant." she looked uneasily at the Raven on his shoulder. Maybe if she could small talk long enough she could not raise suspicion.
"Erebos. Erebos!" the shouts of fans came from down the street.
"Looks like Erebos is going on another walk." Rachel said trying to sound excited.

"Bah, even a pile of bones would be more exciting than see the old guy walking down the street", Tove said as he stood up and crossed his arms while the crows cheered up for the king. "His only true follower is that brat Fenix and as long as the job pays I'm up for it, for a mercenary like me to be at the City Guard is quite humiliating."

Tove didn't hear Hikari's whispers himself but the Raven constantly shoved it's head as the girl made even the tiniest noise. As it noticed Hikari moving up to roof, it flew in front of her growling angrily and teasing the girl. As Tove was occupied watching the King's march, he didn't notice it.

"Shoot..." She whispered/ yelled. She quickly grabbed the bird by it's neck and grinned. "Got you." Hikari said content with herself. "Listen hear bird brain, you go flying down to your master, fly up here one more time, you're going to be made in to crow noodle soup." Hikari said knowing very well the bird wouldn't understand her. She stopped though as she saw the king walk into town. She stood up on the room and by the old chimney and made her keyblade disappear as she watched the villagers gather and cheer. It made her sick. She threw the bird down towards the ground and looked at the crowd and saw the king. She extended her arm.

'I wouldn't do that if I were you.'

Hikari heard in her head and looked around. "I have to, for the king..." Hikari said to herself.

As the Raven fell to the ground, it growled pathetically as Tove noticed it, looking towards the way that it came, seeing Hikari up in the roof from the side of his eye, extending her arm. He guessed what the girl would do next, but didn't react in any way, not letting Rachel to see that he would had even noticed the girl up on the roof. Snapping his fingers, the Raven faded to dark forming one black feather, adjusting it to his belt. After this he returned to the place where Rachel stood watching the crowd waiting for the girl up in the roof to take some action.

Rachel couldn't help a slight smile, and inwardly agreed. Why was it such a big deal for some guy to walk down the street? After all, that's all he was, human. Rachel looked back at Tove briefly. It wasn't like he really ever been too impolite to her before, but he had always given her a weird vibe. Maybe that was just because he was a bounty hunter. She fought the urge to run back in the building and find Hikari. If she was with her she would likely be trying to stop her from doing anything stupid.

She looked up into the clearing sky, and then to the approaching mob of fans.
"Umm....I think I should really be going.." Rachel said feeling a warm beam of sunlight peak from behind the clouds.

Erebos warmly greeted the surge of fans and gave a brilliant smile. He winked at a small group of girls on the edge of the group and they giggled. Behind his charismatic and warm charade his vigilantly scanned the horizon as he felt a change of air pressure. That was one of his abilities, sensing the presence of a keyblade wielder, but he hadn't told anyone that.

Hikari's keyblade showed up and she knelt down sitting on the roof and watched the crowd approach. She didn't know what to do now. She just hope it wouldn't make things worst. She stood up, she was a knight, possibly the last unofficial knight of King Mickey's. She saw Erebos and glared at him. She then got an idea and smirked. A way into the castle a way to a gumi ship, away to find King Mickey and start the keyblade fight for the light.

"King Erebos!" She called out. "My name is Hikari, I am a warrior of light, a knight of King Mickey's and your lies towards the true king's people, ends here!" Hikari yelled out as people looked up at her. The sun light hitting her in the back and made her look even better as a knight of the light. Her keyblade glowed. "For it is my oath to the true king himself!" Hikari called out.

After those words, three arrows were shot while one barely hit Hikari. Tove had the feeling from the start that the girl wasn't "normal" when he had seen her the first time up on the roof, and he just smirked while aiming at her and shooting now arrows knowing they wouldn't even hit her. He let out few arrows to the air before disappearing from the scene trying to confuse the girl. He ran to the back of the house and climbed up to the roof now unsheathing one of his katanas and pointing it out at the Keyblader.

"I smell money!" Tove said and grinned.

Rachel turned around and looked up at Hikari on the roof.
"Idiot!..." she mumbled as the arrows shot up at her. "Watch out!!" she yelled and ran back into the building and up the staircase. She didn't know what she was thinking, fighting a bounty hunter without any training clearly wasn't the brightest idea, but she couldn't let Hikari fight him alone.

Erebos up at Hikari declaring her loyalty to the king. Inwardly, he frowned, but outwardly he gave a dazzlingly white smile.
"Hello, Hikari, warrior of the light. Aren't you a little young to be charging into battle? Believe me, I am a loyal denizen of the light myself too. King Mickey was a great and noble king, but he is dead, and would have wanted his kingdom to be watched over by another strong leader, don't you agree?" he said gesturing to the curious crowd beginning to gather.

Hikari slashed the arrows down. Was he seriously doing this on purpose, he gave her the very scar on her cheek, and this was before she was even a keyblader. "He would have sent someone of true light descent, not someone like yourself, someone of the darkness!" Hikari called out. "He would have had someone who trained keybladers to not be corrupt like the ones following you, he wouldn't kill the true light keybladers!" Hikari yelled at him. 'Plus I don't think King Mickey is dead...' She thought to herself.

Hikari looked back at Tove. "I hear someone a little to sure of himself. Never underestimate anyone's age, the great keyblade master, who should be the true king, was even younger than I when he defeated the darkness." Hikari spoke. 'All I need is to be captured and taken to the castle, that's it.'

"Well, I think it's obvious who Merlin wanted us to rescue." Remarked the brown-haired man, walking on the roof.
"You sure? Because if this turns into a lolita fetish, I'm gonna pummel you six ways till Sunday." The green haired woman replied, hanging from a ledge. After some slight assistance, she was up with the man. The man withdrew his pipe and walked over to the keyblader, blocking her view of Tove.

"You know, it's really not that nice to shoot at a girl." He scolded, grabbing hold of his dragon-headed stave. "In fact you should be punished for it. Good-bye!"

He aimed the mouth of the dragon at Tove and flame immediately spewed forth from it.

"Do not get me wrong, keyblade warrior. I don't mean to underestimate you by your age. Everything I'm doing is in the best interest of the kingdom, and if I let a child run the worlds where do you think we'd be? " Erebos folded his arms as a slight dark edge crept into his velvety voice, and looked to the fight unfolding. He didn't really care, he just wanted to get his point across. "Now, where're the guards when you need them..." he mumbled softly. Eventually he would confront this girl again, he was sure of that, but now wasn't the time. Several guards stumbled to their feet and stood in a salute.
"Catch her, and clear the streets." he said simply and the guards scrambled off, ushering the crowd away as they dispersed.

Rachel burst through the door that led out to the roof.
"Don't worry Hikari, I GOT TH-" she cut herself off staring at the fight with awe.

"Whoa........." she slowly stepped back into the doorway. 'I have a feeling I would just get in the way. she thought a little embarrassed that she didn't know how to fight, yet for some reason she'd been chosen to wield a keyblade. She looked at the brown haired man and green haired women apparently defending Hikari.

Tove evaded barely the flames the man and taking some distance. "Who's this old geezer?" He said as still holding his katana in his other hand and scratched his hand. "So let's see - two rebels plus one infidel..." he said while counting his fingers making numbers in his head. "Gee, this is going to pay a lots of money. I don't need to hear your names, I can give you to the flame-boy to the crematory after stabbing your eyes and taking that fine looking staff you've got there!" He said with a grin of excitement on his face until noticing Rachel coming up to the scene raising his eyebrow of curiosity.

Making evil grin on his face he said to Rachel, "You know that Keyblader?"

Rachel froze looking uneasily at Tove. The chilly wind that swept across the room made her shiver. Her casual white dress billowed in the wind.

"Ummm....Sorta. We kinda just met" She said with a shrug. She tried to stand her ground and not show how afraid she really was. Tove was not the kind of guy she even really wanted to be vaguely associated with, let alone be on his hit list. She wrapped herself tighter in her tan jacket and hesitantly reached for the door handle. 'Com'on Hikari....was this really necessary? she thought glancing down at her dirty black converse.

'Why is she hiding? She's to shy, not that brave or couragous neither, I find it hard the keyblade did choose her, oh well.' Hikari thought to herself looking over at the girl and grinned. "I saved her life from a bunch of drunken guards. Just to proove my point that not all keybladers are evil, and from my understanding, the princess of hearts are all rather very young in age, one of them an acquatance of the great keyblade master. Plus wasn't our king, the best king in the world, a mouse?" Hikari pointed out to the king. She saw the two people come running in to help her out and she smiled. She rarely have that happen, plus they weren't afraid neither.

To tell the truth Hikari was afraid some, but she had a goal to accomplish, she's never seen these two before though. Hikari turned around and noticed the guards and the people standing around. "Why would you listen to this man, he hurt me before I had a keyblade, which is a good weapon, not a bad weapon, even King Mickey, the greatest King we'll ever have had a keyblade as well. To the point this scar on my cheek was recieved from your own king when I was a real young child." Hiikari called out pointing to the visable yet sort of faint x scar on her right cheek.

Slowly continued his stroll through the streets. Since the guards had the area cleared it was much easier for him to think. The girl on the roof back there had caused quite a scene, and although he had recovered fairly easily, it may not be that easy if it ever happened again. She had to be dealt with, and unlike the other keybladers that he had faced, this one was still truly loyal to Mickey. However young she may be, she posed a threat....

Before Rachel's had closed around the door handle behind her, she stopped. Half her mind yelled at her to run and pretend she had never met this strange girl, but the same half that told her to follow the girl told her to stand her ground. Against the majority of her mind's wishes, she lowered her hand by her side and stood her ground.

"Well, I think we've dallied long enough," The brown-haired man commented, gesturing to his companion. "I believe it's time to use that new thing you were working on."

"Huh, whaddareya- Orite!" The woman blurted, taking out what looked like a bunch of small gummi blocks together. "Cover your eyes, kids!"

She tossed it out in the direction of the girl's assailant, and it exploded in a blinding flash of light, and at the same time the man formed a smoke cloud around the group with his staff.

"No use hanging around here, let's abscond with haste!"

"Wait what?!" Hikari exclaimed when an explosion went off and she put her arm up in front of her face only a few seconds later to be surrounded by smoke. She heard what the one guy said and was confused but didn't have time to think about that when she felt the ground, the roof shingles, under her feet changed.

It slowly changed and felt smooth stone path ground. "What happened?!" She exclaimed as the smoke slowly began to change around them.
