Land of Magics

"A rather crass notion, don't you think, my liege?" Adonis asked the God. Moments later one of the newborns, a Werebeast of some sort, began shouting. "Although, if it would get them to stay their mouths, then I certainly wouldn't mind."

Satami, still rather frightened and confused, was still hovering rather erratically around his cage. He finally calmed down when he saw the God up there, and to say the least it was a very mystifying feeling. With his wits gathered about him, he tried to give his body form. Moments later, it came out as a skeletal dragon type thing.

 

Vira almost screamed out in shock when she heard, but she managed to stop herself. A fight to the death? What was the point of all this then? Why did you bring the humans here? Surely it wasn't just for you amusement. As Vira was trying to figure it out she heard one of the humans yelled out.

"Be ready to go down!"

Oh great, they're going along with it. "Vienna," Vira whispered. "Be ready. We're going to let them fight for a little so the god won't suspect anything, but then we're going to rush in and warp the six of us out of here. Got it?"

Johnny was still pissed at the god but he regretfully nodded his head. Johnny had been in fights before, usually the one causing them. He knew how to handle himself in a fight and with his new strength, he didn't think he would lose. But something still nagged at his mind. The god said human but it sounded like he was speaking to a few. Now while Johnny was never really friends with them, he was worried. He didn't want to end up fighting them since they were forced into this the same way he was. However as Johnny thought about this he started to find he didn't care. They weren't with the pack, wolves don't bother with outsiders. Just kill them and get the job done.
No, another voice in his head said, They aren't but then again neither am I. I'm a human not some animal. Johnny didn't get to debate in his head anymore as the cage vanished.

 

Adam woke up again. He got out of his bed and noticed that he had a cape, or something on. "Hmm, odd" he said. "I feel different as well. Wait, maybe there is something different with me" he found a moirror and looked in it only to see nothing. "That's just great" he said, picking up the mirror in rage. He thew the mirror at the door, shattering it. "WHO GAVE ME THE MIRROR THAT DOESN'T WORK!?" he shouted. He then noticed that nothing happened to the door. "Strange" he said, going to investigate, but before he could, he transported into a cage. What's going on? he thought. He was then greeted with the message that he was to kill all the other people in the arena to save the world. Now way he thought. I'm not gonna kill anyone. He then looked at everyone else. He noticed that they were all mythical creatures.

 

I can't fight them.
But you must, the god commands it and he gave you your powers.
Powers I didn't even want. Plus he's going to wreck the earth if we all fail.
You never really liked it there anyways.
But I don't know this world yet so I don't know if I like it better.
Fine then, don't fight. Just know that nekomata is going to kill you. Johnny had been having a debate in his head but when he noticed the neko charging him Johnny jumped to the side. "Don't even try it cat!" Johnny ran in and threw out a punch towards the feline girl.

 

Adam saw the werewolf and Catgirl fighting. He sensed there blood rushing in them, and it was getting to him. Stay together, stay together he thought. He knelt on the ground and noticed that the cape wasn't the only change in clothing he had. He bit down on his teeth to find that he had fangs. Am I-Am I a vampire? he thought. "Well then, there is no need to go against my primal instincts, is there?" he said. He felt a surge run though his body. "I've always loved blood" he said, "but this is the first time that I felt it needed to be shed". He started running from his corner and he jumped in the air. "YOUR BLOOD IS MINE!" he shouted, and aiming to drop-kick the Catgirl.

 

The noise. Oh god the noise.

Satami was in a state of shock. First of all, he hated loud places and second he hated fighting even more, and the cacophony and the task before him combined was almost enough to drive him mad. Almost. And then he actually listened to what the crowd was saying.

"Down with the humans? Well, I know I'm a human. . . But what about them? Then and again, I'm pretty NOT human right now. . . does that mean that THEY were once human?" Her mumbled in his normal voice, the 'sculpted' head of his able to mimic such sounds.

 

Adam got up after his attack failed. "I assure you, the werewolf may have better blood than you" he said. "But, he has thick skin, which is harder to pierce. Your skin is easier to pierce though. That's why I'm targeting you first. Granted, I think that you may be a little harder to fight, but that gets your blood pumping, making it more rich. Plus, since you're not human, I can guess that your blood is going to be a bit different then that of a human, which interests me. I can tell this is going to be fun". He hid himself in darkness and then disappeared all together. "I'm still here. Just for re-assurance". He snuk behind the Catgirl and made his move. He was holding onto her arm with one hand, and her head, lightly, in the other. "Now then, let's have a taste of your blood, shall we?". His fangs ready.

 

As Johhny watched the cat girl and vampire fight he tried thinking about what to do. I don't want to fight but if I don't then I'll die. You know what? I was never friends with them anyways so why do I care if I beat them u a little bit? I won't kill them, just knock'em unconscious. Johnny grinned as a thought came to his head, why not try out his full power? Johnny closed his eyes as fur began to sprout all over his body. His muscles rippled and grew, ripping his shirt off and making some tars in his pants. His eyes moved to the top of his head and his nose lengthened into a snout. As Johnny finished his werewolf transformation he let out a long howl. "Now," Johnny growled out. "Who to hit first?"

Vira was appalled by the senseless fighting. She heard what that troll had said to Vienna and was slightly worried he might discover them but it was too concentrated on the fight. Thank magics trolls never had an I.Q. higher than 30. Vira thought as she turned her attention back to the humans. She saw the vampire had begun to use some of it's power and that the werewolf had gone into his primal form. So that makes three going in to try and kill each other. I don't know why but thank magics the elemental isn't fighting. Vira leaned over to Vienna and whispered in her ear. "We make our move soon. Warp them to where we camped out last night. Got it?"

 

I'll pound that cat first. They're annoying pests anyways. Johnny's werewolf instincts were beginning to take over. He was already past caring about the who or the why, he just wanted to hunt, to fight, to kill. Johnny let out a viscous roar and started running on all fours towards the nekomata.

"Vienna, now!" Vira leapt out of her chair and ran between the cat girl and the charging wolf. She muttered some words and pointed at the two of them. Beams of light shot out from her fingertips and wrapped them up, restricting them from moving. She then spun her staff n her hand and the three of them vanished from the coliseum, reappearing in the woods where they camped last night. Vira used her magic to suspend the two tied u humans in the air behind her. She waved her hand and the illusion charm she placed on herself vanished. she knew Vienna would appear shortly with the elemental and the vampire so she turned her attention to the two she grabbed. The feline girl was looking around at everything while the werewolf was thrashing against his bonds trying to break free. Vira sighed and walked up to him.
"Calm down, human. I am not your enemy." However Johnny didn't listen, too caught up in his magical rage. Vira sighed again and rapidly whispered a spell. Her hand began to glow and she raised it towards the wolf. As her hand came nearer Johnny struggled more. Finally she placed her hand on his forehead and he stopped moving. "Calm down, please. It's very important that you change back." Johnny's eyes seemed to shimmer for a second and suddenly he began to change. His muscles shrunk and the fur fell off his body. His face returned to normal and when the change was over he shook his head as if coming out of a daze. His shirt was ripped to pieces with only scraps still clinging to his body while his pants were now shorts from the tears. "Good, now isn't that better?"
"Where am I? What happened?"
"I warped the two of you here. Once my apprentice comes with the other two, I'll explain everything."

 

"Yes, like my apprentice said you were fighting your partners for his enjoyment. I don't know why but the god brought you here for something, and has tasked you with something. But all the same he wanted you to fail that task and pit you against each other." Vira commented. She pulled the mirror out of her bag and cast a spell. It shimmered and then showed the vampire sleeping peacefully. "Your other friend is in an enchanted sleep. He won't wake unless someone says the proper spell over him." Vira stopped the spell and put the mirror back in her bag. She then snapped her fingers undoing the bonds that held Johnny, Nicole, and the elemental. "Now do any of you know why the god brought you here?"

"Something about befriending everyone. I can't really think straight but was something about making friends with everybody. If we did, then something good for us and humanity. But if not then... I think it slavery or something for everyone." Johnny said as he sat down and rubbed his head. The lingering effects from his transformation were giving him an major headache and he could barely think clearly.
Vira looked at him and sighed. "I was afraid of that. That confirms my peoples worries. This isn't just isolated to you four. He really plans on shattering the barrier that separates our worlds." Vira gazed sorrowfully at the sky as she thought about what could happen soon.
"Yeah that's all nice but what does it mean for us? I mean, none of us wanted to be here!" Johnny shouted. His thoughts were getting clearer, especially as his anger grew. "We were just enjoying ourselves and we all got kidnapped, experimented on,and now being told it's up to us to save humanity! What the hell gives that god, you, or anybody the right to screw with our lives? Huh? Answer me!" Johnny stopped as a wave of pan hit his head and he sat back down.

"Calm down human. You now have the strengths and abilities of a werewolf. That means you need to control your anger, too much and you'll lose control to your baser instincts." Vira cautioned. She then looked at the three of them. "We know you never had a choice, in fact if we had a choice; we never would have met. I'm deeply sorry but things are now set in motion. If you don't get moving with them hen everyone is in peril."

 

"One of every magical being..." Vira muttered. She began thinking over everything in her mind and came to a conclusion she didn't really like. "If that's the task that the God put forth to you then all should be fine until it comes to a few species. Elementals, rarely make friends outside of other Elementals. The Vampire clans will attack the werewolf on sight, and the Werewolf Tribes will think a nekomata like you is a treat. Eventually you'll have to split into two separate groups." Vira pondered everything when her thought process was interrupted by Johnny tapping her on the shoulder.
"My name isn't werewolf, and hers isn't neko-whatever. We all have names lady. Mine's Johnny."
Vira sighed but smiled. "Well Johnny, mine isn't lady. I am Vira, one of the oldest and strongest sorceress' in this world."
Johnny's eyes widened as he looked her over. "Your old? No way, you look like your in your twenties; if that even."
"I assure you, I'm old enough I could be your father's grandfather." Vira turned to Vienna and shook her head. "Heading back would be a bad thing because that would lead the god and his forces to believe the village was all in on this plan. I'm sorry Vienna but we can't go back until all of this is taken care of and finished."

 

"You think, I know. He's an old acquaintance of mine. I wasn't always your teacher you know." Vira smiled as she pulled out a map, leaving them to figure out what she meant. As she pulled out the map she gave it a look over, Johnny noticed a blinking red dot and pointed to it. "What's that?"
"What this?" Vira said as she motioned to the dot. "It's our location. The map is enchanted. So long as one has a map like this, they can never be lost." Vira turned her attention back to the map and then pointed to a spot in a mountain range to the south of them. "Merlin's tower is there, but I'm not sure if him and Matty are back yet. So I say we head that way but take our time and work on befriending the species we meet on the way. After all, you quest is for one of every species, not an entire village or clan." Vira stowed the map back inside her pack but then looked towards the Elemental, who had remaned quiet throughout the whole explaination and introductions. "Was he always this quiet?"

Johnny shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. To be honest, I got sucked into this by acident. I normally didn't hang out with them. They're just classmates really, this is the first time I've been wth them for so long."
