I made this tread to learn something about other's battle tactics! :'D Tell me about your favourite abilities, mostly used Keyblades and style of fighting. What's the best spell in your oppinion? Who do you like to fight the most? Which Drive Form is the most useful one? It's place where you can write about all this stuff!

First, I wanted to write all about mine.

My fav abilities are: Glide, Aerial Dodge, High Jump, Aerial Recovery, Berserk Charge, Retaliating Slash, Aerial Sweep and Hyper Healing.

Keyblades: Ultima Weapon, Fenrir, Oblivion, Oathkeeper, Bond of Flame, Sleeping Lion.

I rather use physical power, but I use magic as well. I love Thundaga and Firaga spells~ I loved fighting Seph and 1000 Heartless, also battles with Xigbar and Xaldin were cool! 8D

The most useful Drive Form for me is Master Form and Final Form - they're the best! <D

    Your turn~

Press the X button. A lot.

I also had to train myself to press Square instead of Circle when I was hit in midair because of the retaliating aireal recovery ability. Explosion and Aireal Finisher are two abilities I always have. Never use spells. Except Cure. Final Form.... All of the strategy, with the exception of button mashing X, are out the window.

Basically, what I did the entire game was a whole lot of this, with some triangle mashing mixed in for reaction commands, and stopping to cast Cure when my health dropped. Unless I was leveling up a form, I very rarely used offensive magic. And even when I chose to use drives, which wasn't often, I was still a button-mashing type of player.

Favorite/most used keyblades: Sweet Memories, Ultima Weapon, Bond of Flame.

Favorite abilities: Berserk Charge, Glide, High Jump, (all I can really think of right now).

Best spell: Only ones I really used were Cure and Magnet, they were both pretty handy. The fire spells I used while leveling up some of the drives, but never when the fights were important.

Favorite battles: I enjoyed the entire 1000 heartless arc, although I wish it had been more challenging. The first battle with Xemnas was also kinda cool.

Most useful drive: Final. Love it.

To be honest, I must tell that I used to only press X and triangle sometimes (I cured myself too). Something like few weeks ago I started to use Drive and magic c:

    Who needs tactics?

    LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYY JEEEEEEENNNNNNKIINNNNNNNSSSSSSSSS

...I'm serious. It wasn't much more than blindly rushing into the battle until you noticed that you ran out of potions. A lot of X, yup. Almost the only spell that I used was cure, but against Sephy I needed that reflect spell.

I used mainly spells while playing the game, X was my least favorite button >.<

    Keyblades;
    Main- Ultima Weapon
    Valor- Decisive Pumpkin
    Master- Star Seeker
    Final- Circle of Life

Favorite Abilities- Guard, Leaf Bracer, Magic Lock-On, {insert spell} Boost, MP rage, MP Haste.

    Spells;
    X- Curaga
    Square- Fireaga
    Triangle- Magnet
    O-Thundraga

    -Magnet+Thundraga: The ultimate multi-enemy attack.
    -Final form+Fireaga: WOW! ;D

Battles: Nothing beats the Paradox Cups. Otherwise, my favorite battle is Siax.

Drive: In FM+, i used Limit Form as often as i could, in KH2, i didn't really use drives all that often. But most used would be Master.

Guard, is more effective than Reflect (Y), and if you practice timing, its easier to use.

I'm amazed the X button on my controller still works. I even had cure on my shortcut menu set to X so that I didn't have to move my thumb.

I usually just use attacks, putting as many of the aerial abilities on as possible. I also enjoy using blizzard, reflect, and cure so I never have to buy potions and can stock ethers, or elixirs for boss fights.

For heartless I just mash away at them. Seldom do I use a form to wipe them down unless I'm out leveling.

For bosses I tend to use more spells until I can figure out the correct attack pattern to use. Once I am reasonably sure I have there attacks mapped out, I start wailing away at them.

Finally I never use summons, save for the Xaldin fight when I need all the help I can get. I feel they are a waste of time since you need to click through a list.

So ya, thats me. Also shortcuts for the epic win. :D

I hardly ever used them in a normal battle, but I'll admit they came in handy in the tournaments- Stitch especially was great for hitting those high point journal objectives, and Peter Pan had a useful way of stringing the enemies along to get them all in the same place for easier slaughtering. If the random encounters had been harder, I might have been tempted to use them more often, but as it was, button mashing X was enough to get me by for the most part.

With the exception of using them to show their Limit Breaks in the journal, I didn't use any summons. Except, of course, Peter Pan. And that was only for the Titan Cup because he caused the enemy to drop points like candy. I think I got twice the required score by spammin Peter Pan.

I found that Stitch made the enemy drop more points, but Peter Pan did a nice job of it, too, and also could kill them- Stitch didn't seem to do much, if any, damage. So in the beginning of the Titan Cup, I'd spam Stitch like crazy, and towards the end when I got a little more nervous about dying, I'd use Peter Pan.

Both were more useful than any of the summons in KH I, excepting Tinker Bell.
