"Of course I'm coming. Who else is gonna make sure you don't get scratched up too much?" Motx answered as he followed her through the portal.

Masen appeared near Randall. "Your research had better prove extraordinary. You know how much I hate being called upon for minor breakthroughs in research."

 

Holding back another deluge of vomit, Leo's watering eyes shot towards Crystle with a slight displeasure and he spoke, eyes looking as sick as he was, "Can we please hurry this up, Crystle? I don't feel like wasting my breakfast," feeling another bubbling in his stomach and he mumbled, "Oh man...hurk!" He lurched forward again and swallowed the sour chunkiness of his own vomit and sighed, wiping his eyes away of their self-made tears. "Uwaaagh..."

 

"Look right behind you" a voice spoke to her. Suddenly he attacked her from behind and slashed her by the legs with his intensely sharp blades. The newcomer's keyblade suddenly replicated three times. One was carried by his other hand and the third keyblade was floating above him. All three keyblades slammed down towards the unsuspecting Nozomi.
"I bet you weren't suspecting that..."

Randall laughed.
"Our experiment is attacking Nozomi right now. Would you like to take Motx out of the situation so we can contrast the neo-forgotten's power to her's."

 

"Eliminate the Nobody." Masen answered. "His life gives the keyblade master a chance to come back. Another unneeded obstacle."

Motx had both weapons in his hand. He looked at the enemy. "What the hell are you? And what abomination is that? Mocking the keyblade. It is nothing but a fake. A fake that will be destroyed."

 

Leonardo sighed as the rising tension in his stomach finally subsided. His thoughts suddenly drifted to Nozomi. He hadn't realized how much he actually missed her. Wait, what, he thought. I miss her?! He looked to the others, feeling as if they were able to probe his thoughts and a red line of blood crossed over his face as he blushed furiously. He threw his black hood over his head and muttered frantically. "Argh! Stop it, stop it, stop it, stop it!" He was desperately trying to get those accursed images out of his head but got no luck. Then, as his cheeks began to cool he looked to the ground and sighed..."I hope she's okay..." He looked out into the black abyss and his eyes lowered in worry. "Man...this sucks..."

 

As a dark corridor opened in the Oranization throne room, the Heartless Kage set to guard it gathered. When they saw their master step out they all backed off. He said nobody but him, and they followed their orders. Kage calmly walked over to the hidden door and pulled out the ancient keyblade from his back. Now to see if this works. Kage charged the weapon with his own dark energy and stabbed it into the door. The symbol began glowing bright, in a moment the keyhole began doing the same. I'm not being blasted back. That's a good sign. Perhaps this relic actually can work. Kage then tried to twist the key, as if to unlock the door. It took a good amount of strength but eventually the key gave way and turned. The symbol glowed white before the darkness of the keyblade spread through it turning it a dark shade of purple and black. The keyhole split in two and vanished. Kage withdrew the key and stepped back. "That's it? No fancy door or ancient test? Hmph, Kingdom Hearts must believe that they're not necessary." Kage gave the now dark symbol a push and surprisingly it split along the middle, opening as a doorway. What Kage saw on the other side made him smile. Through the door was a torrent of black, blue and gold energy. Keeping his grin he stepped through, into the center of the torrent. The door shut behind him and the last thing the Heartless heard was Kage's maniacal laugh.

"My my, aren't you a happy one" Hooper said while stretching his back after coming to Reo's side from the back of the Gummi Ship. Suddenly grabbing him from his head, he bursted to laughter in his always-so-relaxed elderly voice. "You know kid, you've got to pull yourself together, as you may just die out there as soon as I snap my fingers. Don't worry about our comrades, they will be fine on their own as they have been this far!" Hooper said as he roughly messed up Leonardo's hair.

"Besides, think the situation just now - if someone's gonna die out there, it's most likely me, as the eldest and slowest one. Gahaha!" Hooper said as he bursted to laugh, completely ignoring the importance of their destination.

 

Leonardo redid his hair the best way he could. Shaking his fist and gritting his teeth wildly he cursed loudly at Hooper. He would understand it, he and Hooper had a lengthly relationship. "You old geezer! I work hard on this hair of mine! Bah! Like you could care!" Feeling rather childish, Leo crossed his legs together and puffed out his cheeks, turning away from Hooper. Don't say things like that... he thought looking down at the floor again. He didn't want to see any of his friends hurt ever again...

 

Kawi looked away, looking out into the black atmosphere of space. He felt lonely and hearing what Leo and the other guy was saying made him feel worse. Leo had feelings for Nozomi too...
He shook his head, reminding of the objective in hand. He had to be strong like Zack and Crystle were. He was, for some, their hope for light. The "real light." The good relationship between darkness and light. The heartless have disappeared from the area.

 

A dark corridor appeared at Hollow Bastion's main gate. A few men rushed forward to greet or capture it's maker when they suddenly colapsed on the ground. Quietly and with a smirk on his face, Kage stepped out. But something was different about him, his body was smoking. Black smoke was leaking out of him, particularly centered around his eyes. After a few moments the smoke stopped. "Where is Lord Masen?" One of the men that had collapsed to the ground spoke but Kage couldn't here him. With an annoyed sigh Kage knelt down to him. "Again."
"He's with Randall, overseeing some new research subject." Kage grunted but got up and started walking. As he passed a few guards he pointed behind him to the other men. "Go clean that up." he said, the guards rushed to obey. I believe Lord Masen will paricularly love my news.

 

The Neo-Forgotten smiled and diminisched into the ground. He then rose up from behind her like a ghost and snatched her sword away from her. He breathed on it, making the blade black. He smirked and slammed it on his diamond sharp legs, making it snap in two. The darkness had weakened the weak light sword she carried.
"What are you going to do now without a weapon?"
Darkness wrapped around his arms and formed his hand into a spearhead.
"Goodbye" he squealed as he aimed the spearhead towards her heart.

 

Motx sighed, walked over to the Neo-Forgotten, and slashed him away from Nozomi. "I absolutely love how I'm forgotten. It actually makes my life simpler. Now, if you don't mind, I'm gonna kill you." With one slash from one of his katanas, Motx knocked the dark keyblade out of the Neo-Forgotten's hand. With the other katana, he stabbed it in the chest and pinned it to a wall. He stabbed it with the first katana and started pulling the blades apart, cutting open its chest.

 

The Neo-Forgotten fell to the ground, after Motx's furious strike.
"I am the first of many....the light will pay for the losses of the darkness" it spoke to Motx.

The lab started to create hundreds of Neo-Forgotten through cubicles of gas and darkness, genetically created from Kawi's and Nozomi's memories. One was created every ten seconds. Randall watched on his black spin around office seat, as the ships for transporting the creatures landed, storing all their soldiers.
"The time has come for a new age. The age of true darkness. The age of no light"
"KILL THE STRONGEST OF THE LIGHT. GO TO CASTLE OBLIVION" the speakers rang out from Randall's voice.

Kawi placed his hand on the window of Crystal's gummi ship, thinking about Nozomi. Would she be safe? Will she, like him, be in danger? Beforewise, he figured out that she was like him. She was a test subject or perhaps more than that. Were they after her too?
He gazed at one star, which illuminated the hope inside of him.
"Stay safe, Nozomi."

 

"KYAAAAHAAAAHAAAA HAAAAA!" A screaming cackle echoed through the cavernous halls of the labs, before a figure appeared on the far-off ceiling.

"Dies irae, Dies illa. . ." The figure began to sing just as gravity began to catch up with it. "Solvet saeclum en favilla, Teste davidcum sybilla."

By the time it had reached the ground, there were many ghostly appendages extending from the figure's feet to slow down the landing, which incidentally was smack dab in the middle of the crowd of Neo Forgotten. The ground under it and next to it began to rumble and quake as armored shells began pulling themselves out of the ground. Some of them didn't have helmets, and were revealed to be skeletons. The figure continued to sing, "Quantus tremor est futurus, Quando judex est venturus, Cunta stricte discus surus."

Once it was done, the figure tilted it's hat back, only to reveal out of the darkness, that it was indeed, the worst possible being to appear against the opposition.

"HEEEEEERE'S KEEEELAY!" The reaper cackled in maniacal glee, combining his weapons into a scythe. With a cry, he shouted, "Treguna Mekoides and Tracorum Satis Dee!" and the armored shells, numbering about fifty in all, attacked.

"What a wonderful convenience." Motx muttered to himself. He fought alongside the armored things. He fought towards Nozomi and Shayde. "A burst of light to get rid of these dark creatures would be nice right about now. Pity I'd probably fade away into the darkness as well."

Masen watched what was going on through a security camera. "Good Shayde... Draw her closer to the darkness. She cannot escape her fate. She will become our weapon. No matter how she refuses. The end game plan will commence, willingly or not."

 

"Lord Masen. I have returned." Kage said as he stepped up behind him. He gave a courteous bow before he continued. "The door at the former Organization castle is turned to our side.By doing so I have gained a great power, which I shall use to serve you all the better. I also encountered and battled that Unverse boy Vanitas. He escaped before I could claim his power." Kage grinned as he took a few steps up to see what they were watching.

"Oh, I believe you will find this interesting. Despite breaking free somehow from Ventus, Vanitas still wields the completed X-Blade. The next time I see him, I will claim that legendary weapon for you."
