    GrandShadow I accept your challange.

Kage was about to charge Nozomi for trying to interfere when Kawi caused the barrier and rifts. He tapped the side he was on slighty and found that while no harm came, neither could he shatter it to reach them. "Pitiful tricks. They cannot fight so they force themselves to flee."

"Kage, Shayde. The source of the Unverse is a powerful warrior. His soul still lingers. Absorb it and the Unverse become a part of you."

Kage heard Lord Masen speak out. Despite being seperated, he heard his voice in his head. "Yes, Lord Masen. I shall bring that power under your control." Kage said. He opened up a dark corridor and walked through appearing outside the castle. After he closed his portal, Kage stopped to think over where to go first. That loud voice of light. It's riddle is quite easy. Three ancient castles? We control one of them, the castle here at Hollow Bastion. The only other castles are Disney Castle, The Castle That Never Was, and Castle Oblivion. I've been to and destroyed the Disney Castle, the only remnant of it is that cursed Cornerstone. So I believe the other two are the ones being spoken of. I shall head to the one closest to the darkness, The Castle That Never Was. With a smirk on his face, Kage opened a new portal and walked through.

Suddenly Kawi had a flash, as he entered inside the gummi ship and blanked out, falling on the floor. He opened his eyes and found himself in a white surrounding. A man in a black hood stood out like a flame at night. He drifted across the white ground, turning it slightly black.
"Kawi" the person spoke with an unemotional tone.
    Kawi stood back.
    "Who are you?"
"I am Gabrinth. I've wanted to see you."
Kawi nodded, knowing perhaps he could trust him. He should give him a chance.
"Kingdom Hearts is becoming stressed of all the battles that have spurred throughout the worlds in recent years."
Wind whistled around his ears, speaking to him, telling him to "balance the worlds."
"I cannot stop Kingdom Hearts. It is becoming rash and now, it is going to make the decision to have either only darkness or light. You now must fulfil your prophecy. You are the one who will open the door to the light but the term, "light" has been used in the wrong way. We all have strange powers; both light and dark but both can live prosperously. That is what really is light. The light is the spark that keeps people living. It doesn't matter if you have origins of light and darkness. Everyone can live as one. Your role, Kawi is a big one. You have ancestry of being one of the "light" keybladers, Aqua and also you have been mixed with the darkness artifically. Thirdly, you represent the nothingness because you are a forgotten. I have implanted the memories of Sora into your own, while you were bred in captivity because I knew they would help you guide your journey. There was a mistake with Sora. You see, many people prophesied that he would be the person who would open the door to the light because they foresaw him becoming a heartless and also they saw the nobody, Roxas, enter inside his heart, making him a part of nothingness. When the Forgotten first rose up, he immediately tried to open the door to light but he failed and the grave mistake lead to his loss. Now, Kawi, we know that you are the one who will finally eradicate the evil throughout the worlds but we have many troubles lying ahead. Kingdom Hearts, itself, has lost faith of this plan and will now want to test both the darkness and the light in a struggle. I, the guardian of Kingdom Hearts will have to test you and stop you in your tracks, even though, I wish this not to happen. Kingdom Hearts has forced me to do this and I am your enemy but...I have a good feeling that you'll come through and we'll be great friends."
Gabrinth started to fade away like a ghost.
    "I now must be off."
Kawi looked at him, knowing what he must do.
"I won't let you down, Gabrinth."
Suddenly, as Gabrinth faded, he had a flash of a mansion and the words Twilight Town being placed on a station post board. He closed his eyes and then opened them to find himself back at the gummi ship. He turned to the others.
"We must go to Twilight Town. I just had a vision and..."
He looked over at his comrade, Shiro, now knowing what happened to Sora. He frowned and looked away.
"I'll tell them what's going on later" he thought.

Nozomi was a bit hesitant to talk to Kawi after what Shayde said but she didn't have time to worry about that right now. "Kawi.." she walked up to him and said "We need to get back to base first. Its important to make sure that everyone on our team is safe besides it wont be safe taking Crystle when she's... like that." she gestured at their friend who Motx had laid on the ground next to the door. She didn't look so good her face was pale and she hadn't moved since they left the castle. "We have injured people that I need to take care of first. It would be wise to make sure we're fully prepared before we go."

  4. Leonardo got up from his meditative stance in the morning sun of the resistance camp in a lone, clear patch of land littered with wooden dummies whose woods was slightly worn down by bullets, knife marks, and a few knuckle imprints. Leonardo closed his eyes and breathed in the brisk morning dew as the sun warmed his face and he placed a blindfold over his eyes. Within the darkness of his vision he shifted his feet on the hard, sandy ground and he raised his right hand out and his ears twitched when he heard familiar swish! noise that was always accociated with a Keyblade. He felt the wind brush off of his face and got into a slightly low stance and raised his Keyblade above his head and breathed out. He stayed in that position for a few moments and lunged forward.

He struck the first wooden dummy hard on the side with a strong horizontal strike then pivtoed his right foot and dropped low to unleash a flurry of strikes at the two smaller wooden dummies that were next to him. He pushed up powerfully with his feet and caught another dummy in what would've been the face with a strong flying side kick. From this he touched down with his other foot and pushed himself off at a great speed and rotated his body into a tight summersault and brought his weapon over his head with both hands spinning it like a helicopter before bringing it down on another dummy.

He continued with his blind assault as others passed by watching and getting to work. In the back of his mind he thought to himself, "There's no way I'm putting my team in danger like that day ever again...!"

Kawi took Nozomi by the hand and dragged her to the back of the room so no one could listen in.
"I'm sorry but I need to talk to you. Everything seems better when I tell someone else and well..."
His cheeks went red, feeling embaressed.
    "...you're-"
He wanted to tell her that he felt a connection to her. He felt they were very alike and the 13-year-old had started to admire her. His face felt flushed and he thought he was in a sauna.
"...never mind. Anyway, the guardian of Kingdom Hearts came to me and he said that I am the person who will open the door to the light but the light really is the goodness in peoples' hearts and because the darkness has risen so much, we are now called the people of the light. The darkness after the door is sealed will also become light but they will remain to have "dark" powers."
Kawi grimaced at Shiro, who was operating the ship's controls.
"Sora was Shiro's uncle and he died trying to open the door. If he can't do it, how do I have a chance?"
    He looked up at Nozomi.

Nozomi thought for a moment and then she looked at Kawi "If what you're telling me is true then we have a lot of work ahead of us..." she said, looking down. "But Kawi, just because Sora failed down't mean you will. You have his memories but you arent him and your destiny is what you make it not what prophecy guesses it's going to be." she smiled at him encouragingly "Dont forget what you did at the Deep Jungle. You restored light to that world, even though it did get attacked by heartless right after it doesnt matter. Do you have any idea how long its been since I've seen light? Real light like that and not the captured light from the cornerstone? Never. You restored hope to me and to everyone when you did that Kawi. If you can do that, than I have no doubt that you can do what history failed to do."

    Kawi smiled and nodded.
"Thanks Nozomi. You're a great friend"
He was blushing because he never had a friend for the past two years. Two years ago, he left Traverse Town and moved to Radiant Gardens for refuge. He had to say goodbye to his only friend on Traverse Town but ever since Kawi woke up from his slumber, he has forgotten his name. He could envision his former friend's bright blue eyes and long yellow hair. When he arrived at Radiant Gardens though, the situation was much worse and his parents decided to keep him at home rather than going to a school. Now he knew why they did that; his family had ancestry of a light keyblader called Aqua. And then a year later, the Forgotten rampaged his house, killed his family and took him captive. He was alone for the next year until he bumped into Nozomi, who has stuck with him ever since. He needed a best friend and he was thankful for that but also it felt strange to him to have a friend, thus is the reason for Kawi's blushing. He noticed a castle outside, standing torn and broke up. The walls were tearing apart and thorns were wrapped around the lower half of the castle. It made Kawi feel terrible.

Nozomi was upset by the sight of Disney Castle as they landed. Out the window the castle that had once stood for hope now stood looming over the ground broken and covered with thornes. A world once full of color and life now looked almost and black and white. This was becasue of the dust in the air. "It's no problem Kawi." she said, looking back at her friend and smiling "Its what friends do for eachother."

As the ship landed Nozomi looked at the others "We should get back inside. Zack and the others are probably waiting for us somewhere." (no one knows he followed them)

She looked at Crystle who looked a little better than the state she had been in when they left Hollow Bastion but she still hadn't moved. "What was he doing anyway? She hasn't moved since we left... not since..." she looked at Motx, realilzing that she had a better question but she would ask it in privateshe looked at Kawi and handed him a small piece of paper from her pocket. It was the letter from her mother "I've already read this but i'm not the only one who needs to read what it says. Kawi my room is upstairs its the one on the very end of the hall. You may want to be alone when you learn whats on this page."

Her attention was back at Motx after that "Could you help me get her to the medical area. I dont think I can carry her and I need to talk to you about something anyway."

  9. Leonardo sat at a lone bench as he looked up to the clear blue sky that lingered over the camp. He was somewhat taken back by the majestic site of the white, puffy clouds as they gently swayed their way to the will of the breeze that cooled down Leonardo's sweating body. He had been training for hours since he was finally allowed to get off of his feet from the infirmary. It was around 3:33 PM if he was correct in his mind and his thoughts had suddenly lingered off to Nozomi.

He had never truly thought of her in certain moments but he had thought back to the time he was fighting the Heartless at Hollow Bastion. He was almost certain that it was his time to go but as he could remember lying on the floor he had thought of Nozomi. He chuckled at the thought of him giving a cheesy goodbye so he shut his mouth when he saw her kind eyes and her radiant orange hair that would glisten in the morning sun.

His chest began to feel light and when he breathed in he had remembered the time he had been so very close to Nozomi while they were in the chopper together before the mission had began. He remembered when he accidentally brushed against her and his heart palpitated when he suddenly felt his face become warm with blush. He shot up from the bench and caught himself. How could he think such things like that? He was just a soldier for a noble cause. He had no real time for chasing after girls, especially ones that would never think of him in the same light.

His eyes lowered woefully at the slight discouragement he had placed on himself. "She doesn't have the time for someone like me...I'm not worth it." He turned on his heel and clenched on his teeth and his jaw muscles flexed three times before he calmed himself down by watching a group of Resistance members train together. They were so close to each other it seemed, the three young that were around his age. He had never envied over others before but for some unknown reason he envied them. He had never been met by the smile of another before even though he smiled at the other person, whoever it was. It seemed that there was some sort of hideous shell that covered him as to why nobody would never return the silent gesture of kindness back to him.

"I guess it's best this way," he murmured to himself as he turned from the distant trio that laughed as he pictured himself in the fray laughing and enjoying himself with the company of others. He sat back down on the bench and Kingdom Key appeared in his hand and he looked at the sleek and slender weapon that he gained during his time in a concentration camp following a mass execution of the remaining members of the camp.

It was then that a massive amount of rage began to well up within him. He felt as if he was going to explode as he replayed over and over the ripping bullets and the howling cries of their marks and gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on Kingdom Key before rising to his feet again and peeling off the bandage that was on his right cheek and could feel the air graze over the cut that was still healing. He still didn't have the energy to cast spells but he didn't care, he was going back to train. After all, no one would give a damn anyway. He was just another piece of flesh waiting to rot away after death.

For all he cared...the world could rot away in his opinion...

Zack had been flying back to the Castle for quite awhile. He would arrive any moment. His mind wandered as he thought back about what happened before all the chaos had happened. He had been dealing with an argument within the resistance itself. And then the castle was attacked. "Never a simple day" Zack said to himself as he set the auto pilot for the castle and began looking over Crystals ship. He had to admit, the ones who were working on it did a good job. Zack thought back to his fortunate escape. After that guy..Kage had left things were simple.

"Why do we have to stay and watch this..this disgusting light being when the others are getting in on the action." "Masen assigned us to guard him so we must" The other replied. "Really? Masen assigned us to?. You honestly think he has nothing better to do with his time then decided who's going to guard a little puke from the light?..." Zack was quite happy to just let the guards talk to each other, the less attention they paid to him the easier it would be for him to get out of there. Yes! Zack thought to himself as he managed to burn through the chain of his cuffs. He celebrated all to soon, there was a sudden rumbling that eventually got so strong it knocked Zack off his feet, he hit his head pretty hard. When Zack woke up he cell door had been bent out of place and the guards seemed to have disappeared. He was surprised to see his swords leaning against the wall just outside of the cell, My, gun.. Zack thought to himself. Although he seldom used it, it was his favourite weapon. After putting his rapier onto his belt he made his way looking for away out of this damned castle with his other sword in hand. He was had been wandering the castle for awhile. And he was slightly on edge. Mainly because he hadn't come across another living soul. "I think I would be more comfortable fighting off and army of darkness than this" Zack said out loud. "I mean, its so quite that...well I'm talking to myself" Zack shook his head at his own silliness. Zack came to a hallway that had a turn off to the right and he assumed it was a landing dock since there was a breeze coming from there. And there were..voices?. He hadn't come across a single soul in the main base of the darkness, yet there were people in possibly one of the only ways off this damned world. "Never a simple moment" Zack said to himself as he peered around the corner to see only maintenance workers. He was somewhat surprised yet happy when he saw what they were working on. They had taken Crystle's ship and repaired it completely. "Huh, I guess Crystle was right, it is the best ship ever." He smiled to himself as he began to walk into the room. The maintenance workers were slow to notice him, when the first one did he attempted to attack Zack with a tool he had in hand. Zack easily pushed the man aside hitting him in the back of the head with the hilt of his sword knocking him unconscious. When the other man head his comrade fall he turned. He was more hesitant that the first and Zack used this to his advantage. He walked up to the man who was obviously afraid of him and grabbed the collar of his suit. "Why are you fixing up this ship?!" He demanded. The worker was slow to answer. "Tell me!" "It Was Orders" The man squeaked out so fast Zack was barely able to understand him. "By who?" Zack asked with less anger in his tone of voice. It seemed to work because the man managed to answer him straight away. "It was ordered that we rebuild any gummi ship we find so they may be used by the darkness." He said. "You were rebuilding it for the dark?" Zack said mainly to himself. He laughed to himself thinking about what Crystle would do if she heard her ship was being used by dark. "So, When I take this thing and fly it home it won't explode and kill me?" Zack asked the maintenance worker. "N...No sir" He said hesitantly. "Why would we set explosives on a ship we planned to use ourselves" he added with abit of sarcasm in his tone. Zack looked at him and the man looked worried again. "Get out of here" Zack said throwing him behind him. "And consider yourself lucky you didn't paint the ship." He said with a laugh. The worker gave him a confused look before helping the other worker up and running out of the docking bay. After checking the ship over twice thoroughly he felt it safe enough to fly home.

There was a small ringing noise in the ship that indicated he was getting close to his destination. Zack walked back into the cockpit of the ship and looked were Crystle should have been sitting. He had been looking for her, or anyone once he had escaped. But other than the maintenance workers he saw no one. He would have to hope for the best and see what happened. He only hoped that there were some resistance fighters still at the castle. After taking manual control and flying into orbit he was glad to see movement down below when he came in for a landing, and another gummi ship? Maybe the other fighters had made it back already. After landing Crystle's ship in her usual spot Zack rushed off to see if he could find any one of the original team.

    GrandShadow I accept your challange.

A dark corridor opened up in an alley way that was covered in shadows. Kage stepped out and looked around. The dark blue of the walls was barely visible in the dark, let alone by the fact that it was raining heavily. Kage looked to the sky, letting the rain fall on his face. He snapped his fingeras and a few Neoshadows appeared. Kage continued looking at the sky. "Search around for something that seems new or out of place. If you find any Unverse, report back to me immeadietly. Do not fight them, just come get me." The Neoshadows bowed before vanishing into the shadows to obey the orders.

I wonder how... how that being Vanitas came about once again... Kage knew that story, all the higer ups in Masen's knew of Vanitas' and his 'birth' and 'death' with Ventus. Born of Ventus' darkness by Master Xehanort, he was used to create the true keyblade and open Kingdom Hearts. But when he went to reposess Ventus and actually carry out the plan, it backfired as Ventus managed to win the fight for control. Aqua took the now comatose Ventus and sealed him somewhere in Castle Oblivion. In fact that is where Ventus should still be. The question now is how Vanitas has returned? Did someone find Ventus and once more release the darkness in his heart? Or was it something else?

Kage planned on finding out before he took his power for himself. With a small smirk, Kage began walking down the alley into the dark city below the castle.

Nozomi stopped talking when she heard another ship outside just as they landed. She looked out the window and saw the familiar sight of Crystle's ship landing not far from theirs. "Um..." she said, looking at Crystle who was still unconsious on the floor. Thats when she assumed the worst which was that Kage and his band of dark fighters had acquired the ship for the dark order and that some followers of Masen followed them home. She pulled out her sword "On second thought," she said to Motx "I should make sure that isn't an enemy." she was referring to the ship outside. "I doubt there are very many people in there so unless it's Kage, Shayde, or Masen I should be able to take whoever it is." She walked out of the ship to take care of it.

"Its great that you thought of returning my friend's ship after..." she was saying as the door opened but then she stopped talking as she saw who was inside. "Zack?" she said, confused. When had he left the castle?

  13. Ventus

    Ventus Kickass Keyblader!

Kawi, as he was told, entered inside his room and started to read.

    Nozomi,

If you did what I asked you to and waited until your first return to Hollow Bastion before you read this, you will have grown up to be old enough to understand what I'm about to tell you. If not, please close this and dont read it until you know you are ready to know the truth.

Assuming that you have followed instructions, I dont have time to write the casualties like how are you, you must have grown up so much, I miss you terribly, oh... looks like I just did. Now with that out of the way there is something you must know regarding the reason I sent you away the night I gave you this letter to hide. I'm sure you have questions as to why you had to leave and there are three answers. The first one is simple: Your father. Need I say more? The second reason is because of Masen. If anyone were to learn about your lineage it would be dangerous for you and much more than just what your father did in the lab. You remember that boy that was brought in a week before you left? You witnessed the experaments that were done to him. You are half light and so was he. The same would have been done to you. The third reason was because of me. I'm not well. Even as I write this I feel myself getting weaker. The darkness in this world has finally gotten to my heart and soon I feel I will not be here to protect you anymore. By the time you read this, the chances that I am still alive are very slim.

Now that those questions have been answered, there is one more important thing I need you to know. And this is regarding that boy. I hope that someday you meet him in person again under better circumstances and you can tell him of this news too. He's different, Nozomi, just like you. Though I'm sure you can already have guessed that. If it hasn't been done so already, and assuming that he's still alive, it's important that you find a way to get him free from the Dark Order.

It was a week ago from tonight that I was down in the lab, with your father and you. He put you unconsious aswell as the young boy. He tried to use Sora's memories that were fused with the boy(Kawi) to find some memory only he had that could prove useful to the Dark Order: the reason he failed to open the door to light.

He also used the memories of that girl, Kairi, which are in your own heart hoping that maybe she had witnessed it too. He was so close that night. The Keyblader's memories were working especially clearly when he used your heart and Kairi's memory to help support him. But something unusual happened that night. Your father was so close to actually viewing the memory of what happened on that fateful day but suddenly, the machine shut down completely. The power of the entire castle did infact for only a moment. When it came back online and we could see again, the memory had changed. We viewed the future rather than the past. There were three figures standing at the door to light, empowered by the hearts of many. One born of dark and light, one of light who had been changed by darkness, and one who'se heart had become lost and then was born again. They were empowered by the will of many hoping for their success and by their need to bring peace back to the worlds.

Your father and I watched the memory of the door to light finally being opened, Masen being destroyed as well as all of his followers, and the hearts of all those who had been brought down by the Forgotten restored.

Your father took this information straight to Masen. He saw it as a works that could go in two directions. Those three, whoever they were, could very well save us all. Or they could bring about distruction if the power that they alone can carry were to get into the wrong hands.

I have no proof to back up this theory but somehow I just know that two of those three are you and Kawi. There is no other way to explain how the vision of the future came from you two and the boy in the middle of the three was one who was born of light, corrupted, and yet still pure in heart. The third person, I cannot say I know. I do not know any full light Keyblade Weilders that might have survived this long to have their heart stolen from them.

I love you very much, I hope you know that even today. I am always with you no matter what happens in the future after you know the truth about the ever changing future. That future that I saw from yours and Kawi's hearts can come true still but you must fight for it. Kawi, with the help of those other two I saw in the vision, is the only hope for the future. You three cannot fail. The worlds depend on you.

    ~Mother

A candle light, which was floating above Kawi, circled the boy around. He held it in his hand and stared deeply into the tiny red flame.
There are three keybladers....two are light, one is darkness. Could Shiro be the darkness? Kawi thought.
He placed the blue teacup like candle on the bedside table and it flickered. A hum of the wind whistled throughout the world and it felt to Kawi as terrible as a wolf howling at night. Disney Castle was now so solemn and it was his fault. He brought this world into this state. He remembered something that a merman said to Sora.
    "The keybladers bring destruction."
    Kawi shook his head.
    "Keybladers can be both."
He looked over a part of the letter, which confused him.
He's different, Nozomi, just like you.

Kawi wrapped his head around this extract from the letter he picked out. He scratched his head and then as he looked at the window, which showed a piece of rock floating in the black sky, he figured it out; she was a forgotten as well"
Kawi felt happy as he figured this out. He finally knew why he felt such a strong connection to her. He walked into the hallways, putting the letter in his pockets.
    "The Cornerstone has weakened, Kawi."
Kawi looked around as he heard the shrill snake slurred voice.
    "Where are you?"
He frantically looked around, trying to find who spoke to him.

A single stream of white smoke lifted itself away from the end of Katen Ora's cigarette. The golden orbs that served as his eyes watched in a melancholic daze as the world around him went about its routine. A boring, same-ole-same-ole fashion that held the slight drum of a metronome.

Bringing his left hand up, he pinched the bridge of his nose. Trying desperately to ignore the thoughts stirring within the depths of his consciousness. The night before had been his own little dull run in life.

Letting his hand fall back at his side, the blond Forgotten waited with his normal patients until the doors opened. Large, glazed double doors stood towering over him with intricate designs worked into the wooden grain. For half a second the Forgotten was curious as to how such an art was performed, but once those hulking doors groaned on their hinges his mind quickly slammed his report in front of any thoughts.

The room was small, but only when compared to the larger meeting rooms he had seen before. A vaulted ceiling was erected high above his head, with ribbed arches running themselves across for support. To his recollection, of past worlds he had visited, normally there would be some sort of painting. Typically something that the owner found inspiriting. But not here. Only plain gray stone looked down at him as his foot falls filled the air.

At the back of the room, sitting on top of a throne, was the very leader of the Forgotten. Despite how simple the chair was made to look, with Masen there it was enough. The simplistic style that was the reality paled and became majestic. As if the very air around him turned anything near it regal.

Pulling up short of the dais where the throne was placed, Katen came to attention - straitening his back with arms at his side - before placing his right fist over his heart and bowed. His dull gold eyes closed, the Forgotten General began in a dry tone, "Lord Masen, I bring you my latest report from my route, as well as what my inquisitions have found."

"Good, good." Masen nodded. "There has been an interesting turn of events. Once you are done debriefing, you are to go to Castle Oblivion. Kingdom Hearts has decided for the final battle to be held there. Once you are there, fortify it to prevent any entry. The castle's master would be able to undo all our progress if he is allowed to reach the main chamber. But do not go searching for the chamber. All you will find is oblivion."

Rising from the bow Katen waited for the signal to go on. When Masen waved his hand absently, the Forgotten began, "My patrol picked up only a handful of people who looked as though they might have had some inkling of hope. Upon further investigation though it was proven to be false hope - a delusion of their minds. Still we made an example of them. I had my Nobodies and Heartless run a muck through the streets for an hour and terrorized the civilians. This appeared to have the effects we desired as they watched or fled in horror, any hope - even the false - died with my troops."

Pausing only long enough to wet his lips, Ora sighed in disappointment, "After I analyzed their bodies I found nothing unusual per se about their minds so my research on they psychological properties of humans continue. As far as my questioning goes, I have recently learned that when enough effort is applied, nearly anyone put to the question will confess to things in which they had not done for the sake of avoiding greater pain." A cough worked its way through his throat and he shifted, "Perhaps when I return I may continue my studies and possibly figure out a way to significantly increase our numbers without using up as much resources."

"If you come back victorious, you shall be granted everything you will ever need for your studies. But if you fail at your task... Just pray that you accomplished some ulterior motive of mine. Now go." Masen ordered.

"Crystle... Crystle... You need to wake up now." A voice resonated through Crystle's heart and mind. You need not fear. Shayde did not steal me from you. You have the strength to waken up. You must."

With a solemn bow Katen removed himself from Masen's presence. His feet echoed through the corridors as he traversed the large, twisting and turning hallways. His trek took him outside. To his troops. The Heartless were to his left, and the Nobodies to the right, with a clear line of the pathway as their divider. With a single hand he drew attention from their lax postures, "We march!"

Howls and cackles drowned the air in malice. As Katen made his way down the path, his troops fell in behind them. No more caring for the difference in their race. He would not have sectionalism among his ranks.

Not when Masen's plans were in the balance.

And so they marched on. Towards Castle Oblivion.

As Kage neared the cliff that opened up to the floating castle he looked around. It's quiet here. Far quieter than I remember. Kage had been to this world before, back before he joined up with Masen. This was actually where he came into being as a Forgotten. Masen found him and gave him a purpose, the main reason Kage serves the evil lord. As Kage was thinking back to what past he does remember, a Neoshadow appeared before him. "What do you have to report?" The heartless pointed to the top of the floating castle. "You've found something?" It nodded. "What?" The heartless carved the Unverse symbol into the ground in front of itself. "Good. Show me." The heartless nodded and vanished as Kage opened a dark portal to get inside the castle.

Crystle opened her eyes and saw the familiar sight of a gummi ship around her. She sat up, still feeling very tired. She tried to reach up to brush her hair out of her face with her right hand but her left followed it. Confused, she looked down to see her hands were tied together with handcuffs. With the sight of them the memories of what had happened and what she was doing here came back. She remembered what happened and surprise that she was still alive came with the memories. She still felt the light that wasn't her own in her heart and knew Tom was still there too. Curious about what happened, she looked around the ship and realized she was alone. Had they transfered her to somewhere else to kill her there? Whatever or wherever she was, she needed to get out. Reaching up with her hands up she grabed the edge of the counter and pulled herself to her feet. This ship looked so old but she knew it wasn't Chibi. She wondered why the dark hadn't fixed it up. As she walked down the ramp she saw nothing but a dark world but at a closer glanse she could see people around her. Nozomi, the man who looked like Tom, Zack... Zack! He was alive! Good at least that meant the annoying Kage had kept his word. She walked toward Nozomi "...Does someone want to explain to me where we are?" she said, still fighting with the stupid handcuffs.

Nozomi was startled when she heard her friend behind her. "Crys?" she said, glad to know she was awake "Oh thank goodness I thought he had messed you up somehow unreparable after you fell."

Crystle scoffed "Well I'm walking arent I." she said, a bit annoyed. She gave up on the handcuffs and looked at Nozomi "A little help here?" she said holding them out to her.

Nozomi laughed a little and pulled out her sword to pick the lock on one of them. Once one of her hands was free she didnt wory about it. Crystle could go with the other one hanging off of her wrist until she could find a way to take it off herself.

"Much obliged." she said, looking around. "Now back to the former question where are we? How did we get out of Hollow Bastion..." she looked at Motx "And who are you?"

Nozomi sighed "Ok well I'll let you guys catch her back up to speed." she said to Zack and Motx "I gotta go see if Kawi is ok." she ran back to the castle.
