Hunters

The natives charged at Lync at full speed but this doesn't scare Lync. He scoffed and said "Heh." "Too foolish." He then jumped out of the way and landed behind them. They looked around quickly but it was too late. Lync quickly slashed him with his claws. He then let out another wolf howl and started laughing manically. "Hahahahaha!!!" "I need more to fuel my thirst!"

A nearby soldier heard the demented howl and looked at Chris. "Chris." "I think there is something dangerous out here!"

 

Chris' head snapped up and he crouched down on one knee alongside three other soldiers and checked his HUD. The view changed from normal to thermal and slowly changed the once lush and vibrantly colored tropical forest into a blurred mesh of red, green, blue, and yellow. The brighter color, the more heat. His eyes almost watered from the intense rush of color that nearly blinded him as he saw what seemed to be a giant wolf colored red (sidnifying the most intense heat) lashing out and thrashing at the helpless yellow native aliens known as the Na'vi.

Chris swallowed and made a series of signals with his hands and heard the intercom blair in his ear as his commanding officer barked more orders. "Everyone, get your asses moving! Team Green, up top, take sniper positions, Team Blue, provide cover fire for Team Red, Team Red, bring the fight to that asshole!"

Chris' HUD winked at the acknowledgement of the order and switched his firing from Automatic to Burst and got into a brisk jog. He charged forward and wheeled to the left and slammed his back on the large bluish-green tree trunk and readied his FAMAS and checked his ammunition.
Whatever this thing is, it means serious business.
He raised an open hand and watched as the other three soldiers with him tensed and readied themselves for their assault waited for his go.

Chris closed his eyes as his commanding officer spoke, "Three...Two...One...Engage!"

Chris' eyes snapped wide open and he darted towards his enemy and raised his FAMAS and pulled the trigger. His shoulder jerked back in three, quick motions as three bullets soared through the air along with the rsonating sounds of Tarvor and M16 fire along with the additional blasting of UMP .45 and P90 and the two roaring noise of Intervention Sniper Rifles.
Bring it on you son of a bitch!

 

Lync heard the bullets and quickly dodged them. "I guess those guys are here now." He then remembered that Tia was on the rock. "She might get hurt!" He then quickly ran towards Tia and grabbed her off the rock. "Don't worry Tia." "I got you." He then kept on running deeper into the forest until he finally made his way to the temple. "This is it." "This is where lord Grahl is."

 

Lycn layed Tia on the ground and said on his com "Yes sir." He then followed his orders and went into the temple. As he walked into it, he stopped and looked around. The room was giant on the inside. "Wow." "Its huge in here." As he looked around, he noticed two giant bear-like beast appeared out of darkest parts of the left room. The roared at him as Lync said to himself "This just isn't my day."

 

Dan was with Chris and Wolf, Lora was right behind them, he had heared the gun shots but didn't see them. He had his knives out and ready but nobody was there. He looked to chris and nodded, he really never spoke to the guy and didn't really care about him. But he was sure going to help him when needed. "Wolf what's the plan, Garhl is still in the temple, whatever he's looking for we need to stop him." he told him what he already knew.

Tia was waking up, she was seeing the sky and a lot of trees, then she shot up, pain went throught her spain into her head, but she stood still getting the pain away. Her clothes were still on which was good, and she wasn't really hurt. She got up and saw a temple, it was huge she didn't know why but she walked to it. Maybe somebody there would help her.

 

Chris gritted his teeth in frustration and pressed the intercom on his helmet and spoke to his commanding officer, "Sir. we lost our target."
"Pursue the target Red Team, Blue Team will go with you."
"Acknowledged."
He stood up and cursed under his breathe slightly. He turned to his friend and said to him in a low voice, "I don't know what that thing was but I'm sure that it wasn't human. We need to get going, that thing took a woman with it, we can't risk collateral damage here, to much has already been lost." For a second, Chris' thoughts fell back to a Defender stronghold on the planet known as Reach. It was the strongest Defender base next to Valhalla, a base on the planet Earth. He bit his lip under his helmet as he looked aroiund to see that mangeled and shredded bodies of Na'vi aliens.

He pushed the thoughts out of his mind and started forward as the other soldiers followed him.
This won't happen again. I swear it.

 

The bears snorted and looked at eachother. They hungry and the only thing that would satisfy their hunger was Lync. They licked their mouths and then at a split second, they charged at him at a high rate of speed. Lync saw this and stood there. Because he was in wolf form, his senses are heightened so much that he can see the bears as if they were running at a speed of a tortoise. He grinned and said "Sorry but...." Then in split second he dissapeared and reappeared behind the bears. Then after a few seconds, claw marks appeared on them as they fell to the ground spraying blood from the sides. Lync looked at them and said "I have a master to find."

 

Dan at the time felt proud to do this, even if he wasn't in the action. "Yes Sir, it will be done." Dan said, he went over to all the remaining soldiers and told them the orders, they all got ready, for there where more of Garhls men outside the temple and natives. He got all of them ready to fight, he didn't see Lora but she didn't need to be here, make his job easier.

Lora looked at Wolf, "Space, i'm not leaving you on this planet. No i'm not caring about you but whose gonna lead these Hunters? Who am i going to trust on here? Plus you still haven't fulfilled your promise, if the top dog is in there i'm going too. No questions asked." She told him, she was going to follow him even if he tied her up.

Tia heard a voice, it was a girls, "Lora" she thought. Tia walked towards her voice, she hid behind a tree and looked it was Wolf, good, she could tell him about Lnyc, if he didn't already know. She was going to go to them but she thought not, find there ship like she did before, she really didn't want to stay here. She turned and left, walking and pulled out a small screen where a red dot was on it. She put a tracker on the ship just in case she needed to find him. She found her way to the ship and sunk on found a mat and went to sleep.

 

Lora walked behind him, her shot gun was loaded and she was ready to go, she wasn't going to be man handled again. She heard some noise, like growling, bangs, she turned to Wolf he heard it too. They walked to the noise and found a door way and looked inside. There was jewels and gold everywhere, in the was Grahl, he was standing there laughing. "So that's him, we'll his smile bout to fade." She said and pointed his gun at him but Wolf took her gun from her and looked mad. "He's standing right there, we can get him!" She whispered.

 

Lora wanted to scream out but held it in, she wasn't going to show any weakness. She walked over to Wolf her gun pointed at Gahl, if he shot she shot, "Hey, you with the gun, you put it down or i'll kill you right now, blow your whole head off." she yelled at him, she looked up at the head," and if you dont, i'm going to blow that head up too." she said, that made him mad thought, she couldn't fight him hand to hand, but she would fight till she died. She pulled out her com"Dan, come to the temple fast, Wolfs shot, need help." she whispered in, she heared Dan answer. "So what's it gonna be?"

Dan listened to Lora and ran for the temple, killing at least three natives on the way, he didn't shout for anybody to follow him, he just went. He found his way inside and to the treasure room, he looked inside and saw Wolf on the ground and Lora's gun pointed at Gahl, he had his last throwing kifne and aimed at Gahl, and threw.

 

Dan ran over to them, "Damn." he said to himself, Lora was holding her hand, a hole was there, blood coming from it, he took out a handkerchief and warped her hand up, no tears or sound was coming from her, but her eyes said she was screaming with pain. "You'll be okay, just a small wound." he told her, next he went to Wolf, his whole arm had bullets in it, he wouldn't lose his arm but they needed to be checked, he picked him up by his other arm. "Don't worrie Sir, i got you. Lora need you help to get out of here." He said, she got up and help him up. Dan was mad, he can throw a knife faster and longer than anybody in four sectors of the universe, but he couldn't stop him.

 

Lync was laying down on the temple ground of the in sadness. When he defeated the bears, he turned on his com link to ask Grahl where he was again. That is when he heard Grahl said it to one of his men. "We don't need him anymore, leave him". He couldn't believe his ears."Lord Grahl.....he left me." He then looked up at the ceiling and let out a loud howl of sadness. "Grahl.....why?!"

 

Lync looked at his friend. "Wolf." As he looked at his friend, he then noticed Wolf's hand covering his other arm. "You got shot." "Oh Wolf." "I'm sorry." He then up from the ground and walked over to him. He held out Wolf's wounded arm and started looking at it. It was bleeding really badly. "Wolf, hold still." Lync then took his left hand and made his claw appear. He then scratched his right arm deep and had blood coming. He then got some blood on the nail of the claw and let it drop in Wolf's arm. The wound then healed instantaneously. "There." "You're healed."
