I'm talking about using medical marujana for a pain reliever when taking on cemotherapy.
Should it be legal? Why or why not? If a person is in so much pain why not risk the possible long turm effects? Do the pros outweigh the cons?

I think it should be legal. If the patient feels that the benefits (ie, no pain) is preferable to the side effects of using the drug, then I don't think I am the person to stop them. But, I would hope that they would use the drug responsibly. I don't want to see anyone behind the wheel of a car if they are doped up, for one. As long as patients take other people's safety into consideration, I have no problem with them making the choice.

I agree. I think medical meruajna should be legal, but once the patient is done with the cemotherapy the doctor should have weekly check ups to make sure the patient stops using the drug.

i think when you get a drug you can get hooked, when you do you take it for yourself. I think some times medical drugs are as bad as any other if you use it wrong. I think it should not be leagle, but ppl will still make it and use it like now.

Weed is a very addictive substance. Allowing chemo patients to use it is acceptable. Mostly it is because weed "gives you the munchies" that they can use it legally. Most can hardly hold food down, so this allows them to eat like they must. So I believe that patient use is acceptable.

EVERYTHING is bad for you if abused.

Marijuana is not addictive, although its possible to get 'hooked' on the effects itself, the drug is not addictive.

Taking a drug like Nurofen is worse for you then smoking marijuana.

    It should be legal.
