Ghost and Paranormal Activity

    I don't believe in anything that is paranormal.

    If you believe you lived such experience, it's probably because you believe in it so much, that you lived it for real. For example, if you think that a ghost will appear if you open and close the light when you look at the glass in your bathroom, then it'll probably happen just because you believed in it. It's just your brain making you see what you want to see, just like "you hear want you want to hear" (I'm an expert in that, ha)

    I can't really do it, but I'm sure there's a scientific explanation for everything "paranormal" that happens.

    What about you guys?
    Have you guys had any experiences with ghost or Paranormal Activity?

    I've never had a paranormal experience, so I really can't say for sure if I think they really occur or not. But I tend to agree with you, KMR, when you said "If you believe you lived such experience, it's probably because you believe in it so much, that you lived it for real... It's just your brain making you see what you want to see, just like "you hear want you want to hear." I'm very skeptical by nature, and I tend to look for the most logical explanations first. I think I'd find a way to explain away anything freaky that occured to me, without admitting that it was actually paranormal.

    I don't believe in that stuff, but that doesn't mean once a hear a story or something it gives me the goosebumps. Like when I was 8 I read about this called the Grinning Man that wouldn't let me sleep for months by myself.

    I don't believe in Ghosts, the reason is pretty much same like what KMR said.

    However, in paranormal activity its really hard to decide between yes or no. Because it is unique.

    One of the those stuff that really amaze me is Mass Possession.

    Here is the reason.
    20 students in a school on my city got mass possession. They hysterically scream, laugh, and crying until they passed out. Because of this the school halt their study activity to help them.

    20 is a pretty big number, i think.

    I don't know why, but here's what i thought in scientifically.

    There are two energies on this world, Positive and Negative. This negative energy could affect your emotions, and your thoughts to make yourself lose control.

    That is possibly why you could "see" ghosts, got possession, and stuff.

    Hmmm. I may be the only person here who believes in a paranormal existance.

    Well, I do believe and I do know that spirits exist and roam the Earth. Of course, you'll probably ask me why, and say that I can't possibly know unless I have a personal experience and a witness. Well I have both. Though I'm the only one who can speak up of the two of us, seeing as how I'm the only one on this forum.

    I can say guess I do believe somewhat in the paranormal but no I don’t consider it 'paranormal' exactly. No I don’t believe in ghosts and other spooky spirits that haunt places or people like people on 'Ghost Whisperer' or 'The Grudge' like to portray. That’s all Hollywood drama and, like all things Hollywood, they are exaggerated until they are pretty much their own idea entirely.

    But yeah I believe that there is a life after this one and that our loved ones who pass watch over us and that there are as LivingDeath called them 'negative energies' that can effect us in a bad way.

    Posession- I believe in posession but I dont think it happens on random occurance. You would have to be doing something pretty, shall I say, demonic before that kind of thing were to happen.

    Sight/Paranormal Experiences- I'm sure about 1 in every 10 people or more can claim that they have had some experience seeing some form of vision, spirit, aura, energy, etc... And I'm not doubting that they have. I'm not exactly sure what to think on the subject to be honest. I dont believe that everyone who claims to have some sort of psychic experience is being honest and that doesnt mean that they dont think they have. To each their own belief but some tales just seem way too overdramatic to be truthful and half the time I think If someone really did have an experience like that or had a gift(so to speak) like that, you would think they would want to keep it quiet it just seems like something that, if it really did happen, would be something kind of personal. But then, thats just my humble opinion.

    In closing I will only say that I am not superstitious but I am very open minded and I have learned in life that sometimes not everything can be explained with common logic.

    personally, i believe in spirits/ghosts/the paranormal. do i have proof? not really, but i don't really care if you believe me or not, this is my choice and i stand by it.

    I personaly believe in Paranormal activity. I don't exactly have a reason why. I guess ive seen too many ghost shows.

    -_____- I believe that you can be possessed. A few years ago, my mom told me that I jumped out of the bed and was sleep-running to the door to try and run away. TO me, I find that scary. Then there's the part about Freddy Krouger who thinks that he is real, which my mom thinks is true because of what had happened years ago.

    The same kind of thing used to happen to me. I would wake up and scream and yell and say " The world is ending!!!! The world is ending!!!! I flipped the earth upsidown!!!!! It was really weird.
