It is very fun to play on the PSP but it is not as polished as the PS2 and PS3 games. It looks great and plays great on the PSP. Oh yes, get FF Dissidia aswell!

 

Get Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days aswell! It's really fun

I got a psp and i dont really like the dsi much.

Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2010: Reverse of Arcadia which came out yesterday.

 

Don't know much about DS so these are PSP titles.
Besides the ones already mentioned. The Metal Gear Solid series. Metal Gear Acid if you're interested in using cards to attack and move.
Metal Gear is way cool, if you know nothing of it, you mist at least WIki it!
So...
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus (It like the original but story mode is replaced with infinity mission, only get it if you want a bit extra from the original)

Other Games
Breath of Fire 3 (Love this RPG)
Tekken: Dark Resurrection (Fun with other people)
Tales of Eternia (I assume the game play is like the other "Tales" games)
Worms: Open Warfare 1 (Everybody loves these gun tooting creatures in their 2D tactical environment)
Worms: Open Warfare 2 (I don't know how different they are, maybe more levels but hey, collect them all)

When it does come out this year
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (Check Youtube for it's awesomeness)
3rd Birthday (I'm only assuming it's good because I liked both the Parasite Eves on the PS1)

don't have a PSP so the only game i can really suggest is BBS when it comes out in english (or sinceyou're in japan, get the jap version)

but for DS i suggest:

The World Ends With You-awesome game
Pokemon(any version)-all are great but i personally suggest either Platinum or Heartgold/Soulsilver, those are the latest and best.
Kingdom Heats 58/2 Days-Epic fun
New Super Mario Bros.-retro feel but still great fun
Mario Kart DS-best DS racing game

 

Finally someone agress with me.

 

well there aren't many racing games to begin with on the DS and MK is the best of that small selection

 

There isn't, but you don't know how many of my friends like Diddy Kong racing more than Mario Kart.
