Kawi looked at the man who had his body completely covered except his mouth. He remembered that grin and he heard screams; horrific screams of terror. His mind felt like it was being squeeezed and he felt dizzy. Kawi fell to his knees as the screams increased in amplicity.
"All the people....you have killed...all the people that have suffered" Kawi moaned. The wind howled around him.
    "IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU!!!"
Kawi raged towards Mason and with the gale force winds, he attempted to thrust his keyblade through the dark being in a fast motion.

As Kage reached the town marketplace, instantly everything seemed to freeze. All eyes were on him, and most were filled with pure terror. Kage continued his walk heading straight through and soon everyone went back to what they were doing, albeit in a hurried manner with frequent looks at Kage. As he was about to turn a corner and leave the marketplace, an object flying towards his face caught his attention. With one swift motion, Kage drew his sword and cut the object in half before sheathing his blade once more. The object landed at his feet, showing it was nothing more than a piece of fruit. He glanced at the commoners and everyone pointed to a man sitting on a bench. They all ran as soon as they pointed out the culprit. The man hiself was stuck to his seat by fear. Kage slowly walked up to him and gazed at him with his blank expression. His empty stare was usually better than any interrorgation used by the main forgotten leaders. His face was unreadable, thus people didn't and couldn't know what was going to happen to them.

"Why?" Kage said. A simple statement but from him it had more force behind it than a normal person could take without cracking.
    "Y-yy-you dark-k evils are g-g-g-gggoing to b-bbbe defeated-d-dd. The light w-w-w-wwill rise!"
As the man said the last bit he seemed to be filled with a strength of conviction. Kage only drew his sword and laid it by the man's neck. "Last request?"
"Don't punish any of the people for my offense."
Kage thought quietly for a moment. "Agreed." With a quick jerk of his wrist the man was decapitated and his body fell to the ground. Kage wiped the blood off his sword before sheathing it and returning to his patrol. True to his word, he didn't go searching out the people that were in the marketplace earlier but just continued on as if nothing had happened.

Zack had been speaking to Crystal for awhile. They talked casually for around an hour or two. Zack enjoyed how Crystal was casual with him. She was one of the few people in the resistance who was. He understood why most people were so serious with him. He was the leader, People expected a lot from him and they relied on him a great deal.

Zack thought he handled the leadership role very well. When it came to planing he was able to come up with the most effective plan, with the help of his team of course. He gave most of his time to the cause of restoring light to the world. The resistance had had small successes, nothing major that would worry the darkness to much. But they had begun making a name for themselves.

"I trust she's one hundred percent?" Zack asked jokingly. Crystal shot him a sarcastic look. She always had the ship running perfectly. He had never seen a problem with the ship, except maybe the fact that it could do with a paint job.

"Well I should be getting some sleep for tomorrows mission. Ill see you bright and early."

The blade didn't even connect with Masen. A transparent wall of darkness appeared inbetween him and Kawi. And it faded just as quickly, after the attack was blocked. "You should be careful. You being what you are will not allow your actions to escape my notice. Act too rash, and you will die. No pause. No words spoken. Just a quick and final death." Masen snapped his fingers, causing darkness to cover Kawi's hands and feet. Kawi's body was lifted into the air, his keyblade remaining on the ground. Masen picked it up. "The keyblade. What a truly marvelous weapon. The keyblade wielders of old onced brought both peace and destruction with them. I wonder..... Which one do you desire to be? A bringer of the peace? Or a bringer of destruction? Do not fear child. You shall be both."

Masen tossed the keyblade away, watching it dissapear to whatever realm the keyblades remain while they are not called upon by their masters. As it faded away, the world began to rain. Masen began walking back to the castle, Kawi's body floating through the air following Masen.

*OOC: So yeah, I'm going to skip time a little bit at least on the Resistance side I am just to get them into the action. Just keep things on the other worlds the same if needed.*

    IC:

Crystle didn't leave the garage much after Zack did. She wandered up to her room half asleep already but still feeling like she wanted to stay awake. She vaugly remembered Nozomi talking to her as she entered the room but she knew she had overworked herself that day with helping Nozomi train the new members all day, spending some time with Zack talking about tomorrows plans, and then spending until all hours of the night with Chibi. But her pride wouldn't let her admit to herself that she had overtired herself. "I just need to close my eyes for a moment....." that was the last thing she thought conciously.
    **********************
Nozomi sighed, staring out the window as the Hollow Bastion got closer in her view. She took a quick glance around her, at Leo next to her and Hooper beside him. Crystle was at the control pannels. She looked a bit tired but just as alert and deturmined as always. The only one not in this part of the ship who had come on this mission was Zack. She wondered where he ran off too but then again, she didn't really talk to him as much as some other Knights.

Crystle began to slow the ship down suddenly "I cant fly us much closer, Zack." she was saying.

Nozomi frowned, she was talking to Zack but he wasn't there. Then she realized she had a device attatched to her ear which had a microphone attatched to it which looped a small distance toward her mouth. It was a communication device that Nozomi barely noticed until she looked a little closer.

Crystle kept talking but she had stood up "Somethings going on down there, I'm picking up more readings of chaos in the heart of that world than usual. That and the navigator is picking up enemies in the sky. They are on the deffensive about something."

Nozomi interrupted Crystle's report to ask "Not about us though?" She wasn't exactly worried, just trying to find out what was going on.

Crystle shook her head as the door opened behind them as Zack returned to the room where everyone else was, Nozomi noticed a device on his ear much like the half headphone thing Crystle was wearing but as he came into the room Crystle took hers off as did he.

As Crystle took Chibi to a complete stop she began to turn a few nobs and pull a lot of leavers that would turn on the sheild and cloaking gummis. She didn't like leaving the ship nonmovong without being disguised from enemies who would think to harm or steal it. It was the only fully running one the Light Knights had and it was also the only posession she had that she cared deeply about.

"We might be able to get the rest of the way there by the teleportation device." Nozomi suggested.

Crystle nodded "The only problem with that is that I'm not sure that everyone will end up in the same location on that world. The transporter has been out of wack ever since the Wonderland Incident."

The navigator on Chibi started acting up again, something really unusual was going on on that planet. "Well whatever we decide we better do it fast. I'm curious about whats going on down there." Nozomi said.

Crystle sighed, looking at Zack "Your call, oh fearless leader*."

  6. Leonardo leaned back and smiled at the funny remark from Nozomi. He shuffled his feet and and placed his hands behind his head and asked, raising his voice slightly over the sound of the Gumm Ship's thrusters. "So . . . how long are we going to be here anyway? We got a hell of a lot of activity down there, how are gonna deal with it?" He stopped himself mid thought and grinned after realizing the only possible course of action. "Huh. Looks like we're gonna have one heck of a time in this place." he thought sarcastically, chewing harder on the peppermint gum he had in his mouth . He adjusted the earpiece on his right ear and tapped the microphone. When he moved his hand down to his boot to tie it, he accidentally brushed against Nozomi. "Sorry..." he mumbled to low for her to hear and penalized himself in the back of his mind.

The glider was reaching Hollow Bastion. The figure encased in armor was silent the entire time he descended to the world's surface. He knew the probable outcome of his endeavors. But Masen's defeat cannot wait. The glider landed in the Crystal Fissure, at the outskirts of the castle and the town. The glider transformed into a keyblade before dissapearing. The armor touched its left shoulder. In a flash of light, a blue–haired man was standing where the armor was. Tom walked to the entrance of the cave. Nobody had noticed him. "Alright. You're here. So now what? Are you gonna just waltz right in through the front door? Or are you going to sneak by everything all the way to Masen? Either way, you've got a long fight ahead of you." Tom walked outside the cave, into the rest of the world.

A cackling (yet eerily feminine) voice echoed through the helm as Kilet appeared from behind Zack. "We use the TOMBS!" He giggled, toying around with his pumpkin staff. "The dead know the way! Dead men do tell tales!"

Upon finishing his little quip, he somehow began walking on the ceiling (Defying all logic in doing so) and walked over next to the wall with the same door that led out of the small cabin. Several tombstones materialized out of thin air as the boyish Halloweentowner closed his eyes and concentrated. Soon, it had gained a stone crypt doorway, closed by two rather large slabs of rock.

    "Come! Graveyards are fastest!"

He was certainly the strangest member of the away team, but he certainly had his uses.

"Brilliant work Kilet" Zack said to him. "Since this is only a information gathering operation Nozomi and I will head to Hollow Bastion, we will infiltrate the base gather as much information as we can. I will need the rest of you to be ready for action in case things go south. Crystal will fly the ship around the world ready for us to call you."

"Alright then lets go." Nozomi and Zack stepped through the portal that Kilet had made. Zack suddenly shivered when he arrived in the graveyard. So many tomb stones. And for what? Because they spoke out against the oppression of the Darkness?. "Nozomi take this." He said handing her one of the ear pieces. "If we get separated at all we can still contact each other. Its also set to the frequency of the one Crystal has. You hear that Crystal, If we don't know were we are going we will be relying on you to direct us." Zack heard a small scoffing noise over the radio. He wasn't sure if it was Crystal or another member but he didn't really have time to worry about it.

After walking for a little while they arrived at the border to the base. Either that was a really small graveyard or we appeared somewhere near the beginning of it Zack thought to himself.

"Alright we know from some previous intelligence that there is a changing of the guard soon. All we have to do is stay out of site wait for the perfect moment before getting onto the roof and getting into the base" He told Nozomi. Man that sounded so much easier when reading it from paper He thought again. There was then a small ringing sound that informed everyone it was time to switch shifts. "Get ready" Zack said poising himself for the perfect opportunity.

A while after the others had left, Hooper just coughed and sat on one of the tombs. As he saw Leonardo still remaining at the entrance of the tombs with a questioning face, he replied. "Mm-m, I don't really care for remaining in the precense of death, thus I shall soon enough join their rest... If you want to go after them, do as you please, but don't do anything hasty while in there." Hooper said as he lighted his pipe. "I'll stay here in guard. Now go..."

"...and don't touch the walls." Hooper said and stared into the mist surrounding the area.

  11. Leonardo shook his head and crossed his arms, "Nu-uh, no way am I going yet. I still remember what happened the last I went off with the permission from Zack, things got rough and I had stay behind and miss out on the action," He looked at the mist and back at Hooper. "I'm only moving on when we have the green light all right? I can't risk another possible disaster Hooper, nothing personal."

"Well then..." Hooper said and put down the pipe he was smoking just yet, and walked in front of Leonardo. As he clearly was much taller than him, Hooper blocked the light, making a light shadow fall in top of Leonardo.

"...if you ain't going, I have to improvise." For reason unknown, Hooper grabbed of Leonardo's back, lifted him to his shoulders and walked to the entrance of the tombstone, leading to the caverns. He then tossed him down the stairs and started to lift the two large stone doors back to their places.

"Nothing personal, right?" He said and laughed as the he shut the stone doors, leaving Leonardo to the dark hallways.

  13. Leonardo rubbed his head, groaning from the throbbing pain in its side. "Ow . . . jackass, just wait till we get back." He tapped on his microphone to make sure that it wasn't interfering with its communication signal. He raised his hand and a flash of light came from it and Kingdom Key shined within the darkness. His feet echoed within the large catacombs and his face was brushed by wiry cobwebs. "Ugh, no wonder I hate old places," he complained continuing deeper into the caverns.

Kawi felt his wrists being constricted tightly to the darkness.
    "LET ME GO!!!"
He wanted to get out of the darkness' grip. He wanted to be free. He wanted to help save the people from Masen but now he was under custody by the man he hated; the leader of the Forgotten. He just found out aswell, who he was....a forgotten and a human. His memories were scattered and many were forgotten. They took away his memories of childhood. His powers, as he thought about his memories and the light, faded and he returned back to normal. His eyes turned back to purple and his skin turned pink. He grew tired and felt his energy being sapped away from him as the darkness constricted in deeper intensity.

Masen was sitting at a desk, writing on some papers. He would occasionally glance up at Kawi, watching him transform. And then he would go back to writing. These 'reports' he was currently writing had to do with Kawi.

"The experiment has been more successful than previously thought possible. By experimenting on this child, who's parents are of light and dark, a new Forgotten has been created. Just by looking at him, one can tell that he is becoming more and more of us, losing his memories. If my hypothesis is correct, his heart's desire to remember with call upon memories long forgotten. Only time will tell."

Masen set down the pen and stood up. He faced Kawi. "Do you remember anything? Or are you like every other Forgotten?"

  16. Ventus

    Ventus Kickass Keyblader!

Kawi remained silent with a scornful look. He was afraid nonetheless. His fingers started to trimmer. Suddenly his eyes flashed, as his surroundings of a black room changed into a white surrounding with smoke looming over the edge of his eyesight. He could hear the screams of children and women as the Forgotten savagely attacked a village. He could tell it was the same place where one of his past memories were, where the "Kairi" girl resided. He saw an inferno of flames covering the entire island and the beautiful scenary in the matter of five minutes turned into smoke and rubble. Tears ran down Kawi's eyes as he witnessed the destruction. He found himself back in the room, looking down and away from Masen. He wanted revenge against Masen. He felt hatred. It felt strange. Kawi felt his own hatred but it was also felt like it was from something else. His right eye turned ocean blue and his left eye remained purple.

Crystle nodded in responce to Zack's question which she heard in her earphone. Then she last moment figured he couldn't see her but she didn't worry about responding when she heard the guys in the back. As Hooper closed the tomb she sighed "I should have realized that you were going to pull some antic." she said trying not to smile. She would have to explain the situation to Zack later so that Leo wouldn't get into trouble but for now she didn't have time to go back and get him and besides why ever Hooper decided to send him through the tomb she was sure he had one.... or at least she hoped so because she was a bit too lazy to argue with him at the moment. She looked back at the controls "We may as well see if we can't get a closer look just incase Zack and Nozomi need our help."

Nozomi nodded and as soon as the opportunity presented itself Nozomi and Zack slipped past the guards easily. Things went just as Zack planned, they spent what seemed like forever waiting at some places for the right moment to move without being spotted and once or twice both of them would have to reach to the other and pull them back a step seconds before guards ran past. Nozomi was a bit suprised on how the Guards seemed to be a bit out of sync. Had they missed something? She tried to listen in to some of the gossip on their way but as they began traveling across rooftops and through allies that became a bit impossible. She had never really spoken to Zack that much and right now was a bad time for small talk anyway. The only time they ever communicated was to give eachother warnings or decide which way to go next.

Crystle watched Zack and Crystle on the navigator as she cercled around Hollow Bastion. Their signal got a bit blurry as they got closer to the castle but not bad enough that she couldn't eventually interject with some advice or warnings that there were heartless, forgotten, nobodies, or guards ahead.

Nozomi was a little bit tired as she and Zack got to the target Zack had been directing them to which was the roof of the castle. It had taken a little magic to help but they had also done some climbing seeing as magic would make their presence known to a powerful Forgotten or Nobody if they weren't careful. If not then the worse case sinario would be that Heartless would sense their hearts and swarm. As they got to the roof, Nozomi looked at Zack questioningly, wondering what he was planning next. He gestured toward the edge of the roof on the other side and then began walking toward it, trying to keep to the shadows to avoid being seen. Nozomi followed him and was suprised when he just knelt down on. Nozomi frowned, there was nothing there what was he doing?

Just then she heard Crystel's voice softly from the speaker on Zack's phone thingy. "There should be an opening right there and it will take you to a secret passage inside of the walls. Just wait for a moment I'll see if I can activate the mechenism to open it. It doesn't look like it's been worked for years... probably not since the place was rebuilt hundreds of years ago."

A few seconds later Nozomi heard a soft humming sound and the ground directly under Zack's feet glowed softly. He stepped back just in time for what almost looked like an elevator with no walls rose out of the roof.

Zack and Nozomi stepped into it and the thing then began faiding, Zack and Nozomi did aswell. It was an odd feeling, similar to magically teleporting. Nozomi wasn't a fan of the feeling that it gave her, almost like she had a terrible migrane. But it was gone just as suddenly as it was here and when Nozomi opened her eyes, it took her a moment for her eyes to adjust to the dim light.

Nozomi nearly freaked out when she suddenly heard someone yell. She noticed Zack jump aswell but he was pretty good at making it seem like he wasn't suprised. They both looked in the direction that the sound came from and she frowned, it was like they were looking through a window inside of a house from the outside but they were already inside.

"Crystle where are we?" Zack was whispering.

Nozomi had to listen carefully to hear the pilots answer "You're in a passage inside the castle. It use to be like an elevator system inside the castle only more high tech as you witnessed to get in there. But when the castle was rebuilt they tried to build over it. Masen's office now stands right in the center of that system. Just dont touch any of the glowing star statues and you'll stay outside his office. I dont think anyone in that castle is aware of the glitch but the elevators still work just fine and because of the magic attatched to them the walls cant be seen from the outside of the room but they cant see you. Does that make sense?"

Nozomi was a bit confused but she decided not to question her. She just looked around, realizing that she and Zack were still in the mechanism that had brought them through the roof but it was suspended in the air. She could see a very long drop below their feet and no other serfaces except for a few ledges across the walls and doors in odd places. "This is the worlds most bizarre elevator system." she whispered. Zack nodded in agreement but he was paying more attention to the room in front of them. It was a bit hard to tell what was going on in that room because it was only slighty transparent enough that they could see shapes. As far as she could tell there was a desk and a man next to it. She also thought she saw a person hovering in the air. "Thats weird..." she thought to herself. But the voice of the boy that she had heard troubled her. He sounded like he was very angry but she could also hear fear and pain in his voice.

she heard another voice say. It sounded familiar to her and obviously so seeing as it was supposedly Masen's office they were outside of. Nozomi had been inside of this building before it's just the last time she was here she wasn't on an infiltration mission. She was with her father. She had met Masen a few times before. She worried that if he did see her she would be recognised but she didn't think that would really matter. Not like he was going to snitch on her to her father. She would probably just be killed or something like all of the other trators. Partly she was really curious about what was going on in there. She looked at Zack questioningly, wondering if he shared her curiosity. It felt weird to her being just a 2 inch wall away from a connection to the life she had before she ran away and joined the resistance. It was like looking through a window to the past and she didn't like it. Nozomi felt a bit uneasy suddenly, wanting to get this mission over with but her curiosity won her over. She jumped onto the ledge that was next to the elevator and walked up closer to the wall, listening to Masen and the strange boy talk.

  18. Leo contnued in the dark tunnels of the caverns until he stopped at a dead end. He pressed the wall, guessing that there would be a secret stone button to press. When he felt nothing, his arms flopped to his side and he complained, clicking his intercom, "Aww man, I think I might be lost. Thank you Hooper, so not going to get you back for this when we RTB," he said sarcastically. He really didn't take the situation as serious as it should've been taken because he heard a fast and hasty skittering. He wheeled around and held out Kingdom Key, tensing up.

He had been on his own in dark places before, but because this was from a tombstone, it made him feel more uneasy than usual. "Guys . . . I think I got some activity down here, possible contact. I'm going to go check it out." He slowly stepped forward, trying not to make noise as he got closer to the corner of the dead end hallway. The skittering got louder and louder and he pressed his back against the cold and dusty stone and held his breath, channeling his energy for a Fira spell. He turned the corner quickly and the light from his keyblade shined on a large rat. It squealed loudly and Leo responded with an equally loud shout and fired the spell. The rat however was too fast and ran away, fleeing into the dark. He stumbled backwards and fell on his buttocks. Totally embarassed, he pressed his intercom and agitatedly mumbled, "It's nothing here but stupid rats . . ."

He dusted himself off and continued the way back. But as he did, he heard a slightly louder noise. It sounded like a low rumbling and he slowly turned his head to see two yellow circle eyes tsaring him back. He slowly clicked his intercom again and whispered, "Guys . . . we got some Heartless in here." As he finished the Heartless stepped out of the dark to reveal itself as a Neo Shadow. Leo raised his keyblade ready to defend himsel but was knocked down and pinned down. "Crap!" he said holding up his keyblade to protect him from the gnashing claws of the Heartless.

Masen sat back down, still casually glanced up at Kawi. "Pity you are blinded by your own hatred boy." Masen spoke as he continued writing.

"This boy is progressing further and faster than I had ever hoped. The darkness in his heart. It is reacting ever so slightly. But enough so I can tell what he's doing. His heart, the memories it has called out for. The individual whom was the most probable outcome. His memories have affected Kawi's dark heart. I can only hope that the memories do not stop with the one. If everything turns out perfectly, then he will obtain every memory that is required. If he doesn't absorb those memories, then the experiments will continue. I can recall a few children who managed to escape their capture. If they have grown by hatred for me, then it is inevitable they will return. When they do, I personally shall aqquire them."

Masen spoke again to Kawi. "Now that you are gaining memories, you need to know a very important thing. The memories are not yours. They do not belong to you. The owner.... Is somebody who would harm you if he were still alive. He would do anything and everything in his power to prevent our goals. Never once should you believe that his memories are yours. If you follow those memories in the wrong way, then you only continue the senseless destruction that has plauged the world. But, if you follow me, you shall be written down in history as the one who finally achieved the peace that had been longed for. You can be the hero, as long as you do not act out of line."

    --------------------

Guards were walking through the castle. They were on patrol, set in squads of two. They smelt light, and were tracing the source. A squad of guards stopped in the middle of a hallway. "Our target is near. Who is stupid enough to–" The guard was cut off short. Tom landed on him from falling down from the celling. Before the other guard could react, Tom slashed him down with his keyblade. Tom then stabbed both of the bodies with his keyblade. A small bit of light shined from the bodies. Their hearts floated up out of their bodies and into the darkness.

"I hope your hearts return to your bodies when Masen is defeated." Tom spoke, feeling some remorse for his actions against the guards. But then he reminded himself "They wouldn't feel any remorse against you. You're working for the greater good. What you did has probably put them in a better place then they were before. Hopefully they'll find their memories and return to the good people they probably were." The bodies dissapeared. Tom then started running through the halls, heading towards Masen's office.

"Don't do anything do anything stupid, as I said before. Don't finish it off, since they spot you if you use more magic or the Keyblade. Give it a run and it will eventually stop hunting you." Hooper said in to the mic¨to Leonardo. "Run and turn in the halls to left from there. Pass two ways and you'll end up with only one way to the right. From there is a dead end, and a marker in the wall. Press it tight and you may find... something interesting." Hooper's voice was quite quiet in the mic and it could be heard clearly as he laughed again.

"Crys, are you seeing something above the mist? It's as I could had heard someone screaming just back there. May be my old ears, but to make it sure, hmm?" Hooper said to the mic as he stared in to the mist, trying to spot anything.
