"The World"

Level 17 2/3

Karite wandered around Mac Anu for a while, he didn 't know what to do. From what Sion said that made sense, he was meant to help save the 'World' and the real world. But why? He was just an average player. And then he thought back to the creature. If that was an Avatar then how would he use it? Let alone what could it do. As Karite was wandering he found himself in front of a shop, to be precise the most expensive shop in the root town. Considering Karite had rarely spent his money on something other than cheap potions, he felt a sudden urge to buy the best stuff he could. Ten minutes later and Karite had on the best armor he could afford and the best scythe available in shops. May as well go level some more... With that thought, Karite headed for the Chaos Gate.

 

Adept rouge lvl 9 (3/3xp)

Ken was mad as anything, he, had left the house and got his bike and rode looking for his brother. When he found him he was going to kill him too. That's why his brother had came into his room, he must have wanted to say something but couldn't do it. So Ken needed to find him. He could not get a job like his Dan's to help his mom pay the bills. How would he find him though? He gave up at eight, he went back home and saw his mom crying still. He didn't go in to comfort her, he thought he might cry too but he didn't. All he could do now was hope that he would come back and soon.

 

Twin Blade Level 16 1/3, Harvest Cleric Level 16 1/3, Macabre Dancer Level 16 1/3 XP

Leonardo stepped into the atrium of the school building. He didn't have practice today and the library was closed, so he waited at the lone table and was studying his AP Biology. They were studying genetics and he couldn't get enough of it. As he scribbled the well written notes, he felt someone behind him. He looked up and saw Heather, looking over his shoulder. "Hi!" she said with a gentle smile.
Leo looked at his books and blushed a little bit, "Hey, erm, hi."
"You okay?" she asked quizzically.
"I'm fine, you?"
"I'm doing great today."

She looked at her pocket and took out a vibrating phone. She sighed and sat down next to him, "Crap," he lightly whispered.
"What's wrong?"
"Play practice has been canceled, my dad is out right now."
"My mom is out too."
"Where's Kamau?"
"He left to go to a Tennis game."

 

Yui layed on the ground, crying her eyes out. "Why?" "Why did he leave?" "Was it my fault?" As she kept crying, some players walked up to her and one of them said "Excuse man but are you crying?" She looked at them and noticed that they were all harvest clerics. She shook her head and "Its fine." "Really." "I should get going now." She then ported out with a sad look on her face.

 

Level 17 3/3 Level up! Now 18.

Karite cut down the enemies with his newly purchased scythe, happily noticing that he was once more gaining exp. The glitch scythe is far stronger, but I won't use it because it won't help me level. Either way, this mission is done. Karite exited out the Chaos Gate and returned to Mac Anu. Once there he saved and logged off.

In reality, Johhny stood up and went straight to his bed. He was tired and if there was nothing pressing keeping him awake then he was going to sleep. He checked the time and date for a quick second to make sure. 2:00 AM Saturday morning, no plans so its off to dreamland for me. He closed his eyes and in a few minutes fell asleep.

 

Twin Blade Level 16 2/3, Harvest Cleric Level 16 2/3, Macabre Dancer Level 16 2/3 XP

The two walked along the open football field in the back of the school and were talking while walking on the track circuit. Heather looked up and saw the sun appear from behind a cloud. "So . . . how do you like things here?"
Leo nodded and tilted his head slightly, "I've been managing very well, things are good. I have a great academic record, I have good friends here. I really like it. How about you, how are things at the sister school?"
She stopped and looked down, "Things . . . things could be way better for me. I have friends and my grades are great . . . but . . . but most of the girls are mean to me. They call me names . . . and they do things with my stuff. I'm sort of miserable. But ever since I got The World from Kamau, things have been great! I have him, some of my friends, my parents . . . and . . . I have you Leo."
He looked at her and saw that she was trembling slightly. "Heather . . . are you . . . okay?"
Tears began to sparkle in the sun's light and fall to the ground, making small damp dots that sizzled from the heat. Leo walked to her and hugged her. She clasped her arms around him and began to cry louder. "All I want . . . is to be accepted by everyone else as a person!!! They're so mean to me . . . sometimes I just, I JUST WANNA DISAPPEAR!!!"
Leo held her tightly and held her slightly away from his embrace, holding her arms. He looked at her sternly and spoke frankly.

"I don't ever want to hear you say that ever again! Do you hear me?!"
"L-Leo . . ."
"You're stronger than this, I know it for a fact! You do everything to the best of your ability, and it makes you a better person. You're kind, gentle, warm, beautiful, and, and . . ." He looked down, slightly blushing. but when he looked up he saw that her face was red. She wasn't mad, but shocked to death pretty much.

 

Level 18 1/3

Karite.
"You know my World profile?"
Karite.
"What do you want?"
Karite.
"Better question, who or what are you?" Johnny opened his eyes to see himself at the same field from earlier, but he wasn't Johnny. He was Karite, which meant this was the world. As he looked around, he saw nothing but the tree at the fields center. "Wait...where are you?" As he looked around, something seemed to slowly appear. At first it was nothing more than an outline, but slowly it started to become clearer. It was the creature from before, the one that changed him. "You?!"
Karite.
"What are you?!" He screamed as he drew his scythe out and charged the creature. The creature raised its own scythe and slashed down cutting Karite in half.

"AHHHHHHH!" Johnny woke up screaming. His mother came rushing in.
"What's wrong?" She asked. Once Johnny had his breathing under control he answered, "Nightmare." She just nodded and left. But, Johnny thought, that dream meant something. But what did it mean?

 

Wraith walked around the Holy Forbbiden Cathedral. He kept thinking about all the good times with his father. "I just can't believe that he is gone." "I just can't." As he stood there in the cathedral, some players walked in. One of them was a stream gunner who grin on his face. He looked at Wraith and said "Hey you!" Wraith looked at him and said "What?" the gunner then said "Don't get a attitude." "I just have a present for you." Wraith then said "What is it?" The gunner brought out his weapon and said "THis!" As he was going to shoot, Wraith got out of the way and brought out his dagger. He stabbed the gunner and said "Leave me alone." He looked to the gunner with cold eyes as he brought out his dagger. He then walked away from him.

 

Adept rouge lvl 10(1/3xp)

Ken was in his room, he wanted to get into the World but didn't want to leave his mom, but he had too. Something told him to go. He logged into The World and was in Mac Anu. He was a lvl 10 now but still low, once he was at least 20, it started getting better. As he walked around he felt like he was being wachted, he didn't know where the stalker was, but he walked into a alley and tured around, the person or people where still here, so he yelled out" OKAY COME OUT." Zan yelled out.

"Alicia.." Nero began.
"Yeah?"
"Let's chase them down.. just like they did us." Nero said.
They nodded at each other. They shook hands and smiled as they did.
"Does that mean we're official PKKérs?" she asked quite joyful once more.
"Nope... we're AIDA hunters!" Nero replied and smiled.
A warm brease could be felt throughout Mac Anu and the plains they were in.

The hunters.. had risen...

 

Admin Adept Rogue lvl 8 (2/3 xp)

As Salvatore's eyes continued to sweep over the cavern, his eyes soon found their way up towards the ceiling. Eyes wide he looked at their positioning. Sweeping over the cavern again he caught several more blades that were hidden well.

It was a trap.

"Shit! Gerik, no!" Whipping around he charged for his friend before his hand could touch the chest. The two adept rogues rolled across the cave floor until they came to a stop. Salvatore hacked and coughed through the dust until it settled. His eyes flickered towards Gerik, "Sorry." He muttered.

 

Adept Rouge Level 7 2/3

Gerik felt confusion and disappointment at what just happened. "What just happened? Did we pick the wrong chest? Does 'The World' usually have fake chests that do that?" Through his M2D, Gerik's surroundings were slowly going back to normal. He didn't expect that treasure chests just exploded. "We're gonna have to try this quest over again, aren't we?"

 

Admin Adept Rogue lvl 8 (3/3 xp)

Salvatore shook his head slowly and pointed, "No, they're booby trapped, but it's not the chests that explode. I noticed that around the cavern are small pockets. I'm guessing it shoots fire or something to give damage to the wrong chest. If we opened it I'm sure we would have been barraged by a whole lot more." His brow furrowing, the adept rogue rose, "There has to be a way to disarm it... but how? Is it a pattern?"

Heather's eyes constantly lowered and rised from the ground to Leonardo's face. Her face blushing almost violently. "Leo . . . do you . . . do you really think that I'm . . . that I'm like that?" she asked him, looking down.
Leonardo let go of her and moved closer, gently grabbing her hand, "Yes, yes I do, very much Heather. I felt like that in the past three weeks we've been together I just never told you . . ."

 

Admin/Epitaph User: Nero: 20. 1/3 ~ Alicia: 20. 1/3

Nero and Alcia walked side by side towards the armory in Mac Anu. They seemed to be more determined then before. The scruffy bully that was picking on Nero before walked by again but avoided them this time.
They walked into the shop and laid there eyes on the countless weapons they had in stock. Nero had never spent any money yet, so he had treasures galore in his inventory.
Alicia was looking over a mountain of dusty old tomes, instead of the shiny (and pricy) new ones.
She grabbed two tomes.. one was red with white outlinings and elegant signs. The other Black with orange outlinings and runes inscribed on the front. The said:
Frenzies of the Mystics - Part 1: Swift Shinedown . and Part 2 : Voiceless Corruption.
Alicia seemed to also be soaked in the treasures, for she immediatly went and bought them.
Nero upgraded his older weapon that DID give EXP and walked towards the armor corner.
He tied a bulky, mythril shoulder pad to his shoulder and two big wristguards, that only gladiators and bounty hunters wore.
They both walked out, all geared up, ready for their first target, and slightly lighter in the pocket..

Apdet Rogue lvl10(2/3xp)

Zan moved out the way of a flying bullet, he took out his blade and blocked the next one, then five more came his way. Zan ran to where the bullets where and cut some crates in half, there was a someone with a mask on, they tried to cut them with the blade on there gun, but they missed. Zan tried to stab the person but with amazing speed, they where behind him. As he tured he was shot with in right through the chest. He fell to the ground in pain, he saw the blood coming out, he was getting dizzy, his vision was blurring. He still got up and as the mask person aimed again, Zan used one of his attacks. His blade was lighting up and so was he, in a flash he cut his mask shooter three times and was behind him. "Flash forward." Zan said as he won the battle. But he was bout to go himself, he used a small heal spell to help him out, then a bottle of it, soon he was weak but living.

A boy fell down to the ground, disarmed and grabbed at his bleeding shoulder. Two big players dressed in black with red trim stood around him with axes, which dripped his blood. They grinned evily and rose their axes to strike the poor boy.
Suddenly a swift red magic entity rushed before them, leading their attention away from the boy.
The red power rushed around them and changed into a female red magic form. The form rose her arms. The big players looked curiously at it, as the boy slowly crawled away from them.
Suddenly, Nero rushed through the form at the players, pierced the left one and activated it's hooks, chaining the AIDA to it.
As the form evaporated, Alicia jumped down from the tree close to the spectecal and shot swift magic arrows from her hand, laid on the red book. The arrows collided with the other AIDA's chest and shot him down to the ground.
Nero pulled his lance from the cold player's body as the hooks were disabled and Alicia stored her books. She put out her hand at the young boy who laid on the ground and smiled.
"Don't worry, we're not your enemy's.. "
"Not at all.." Nero added. "We're hunters".

 

Wraith kept on walking through the World. He walked on this road of sadness and loneliness by himself, just as he did before. "I have no one." "My father is dead and I'm alone." "This goes to show you that reality is such a drag." He sighed as he kept walking on. He held his dagger tight and said "I guess its time for me to start leaving the world of reality for this World."
