Frostwoven Visions - RP

One of the soldiers started to run straight at her but she started to stand calm as her face was not shown to them. She took her staff and blocked the soldier's sword and tripped him. She then swung it around as another one came from behind and made him fall backwards. Another soldier swung at her and she ducked, using her staff to trip him and to make him fall. When the first soldier tried to get back up, she took the staff and hit him hard in the head, making him unconscious. She then raised up her hands and pointed it at the last soldier, trapping him in ice. " Is this a battle? I must hurry and go into the gardens." She then started to run on down to the palace walls..."

Felicity started to run down into the battlefield, trying to see if Howl is involved in any of the fighting. She kept on running until she saw one of the soldiers with a big mace start to swinging. She gasped and started to do a backflip as it came down straight at her, making herself two feet away from the person. "This really must be a fight going on. Now's my change." She raised both her hands in front of her and started to shoot several thunderbolts at the soldier. She then saw some other soldiers coming straight at her, making herself fight for her life...

 

Will's horse charged, stopping in front of Felicity as the man swung again, Will blocking the mace with his shield. "You shouldn't be here miss." He said, flipping off the horse and drawing a sword. He flipped it in his right hand, his horse, running off the battlefield at a whistle from Will. He blocked the mace again and swung, slicing the man's kneecap. "If you wish to stay I shall defend you for as long as you are on this field." He said, stabbing the man in the stomach, twisting the sword quickly.

 

"Who in the..." Felicity then ducked and started to jump in the air, spinning as she did a round kick in the soldier's face to knock him out. "I don't know who you are but I request that you shouldn't be here either. I have my reasons to be here." She then did a quick dash up north to take out a soldier with three punches but then saw a archer trying to snipe the man who came in to protect her. "WATCH OUT!!" She then raised both her hands and shot several ice spells to take him down.

 

Will smiled. "Thank you miss, and I have my reasons as well so I suggest we stay together until you are safe and your task is complete. So your name is, m'lady?" He asked, kissing her hand like a gentleman, quickly spinning to defend his back and her and to cut a man down. "I am Willian, grandson of Jacob." He told her, spinning his sword skillfully.

 

She took her hands from him and pushed him out of the way, shooting a fire ball at another archer. "The name's Felicity." She then looked around and saw a large door that leads to the inside of the Drakken palace. "May you please keep me safe then. I guess that it's best that we stay together then. I guess it's safe to assume that you're not one of them or that you're allied with that mage." She then started to run at a fast pace towards the gate...

 

Will followed her, cutting and leaping over soldiers with amazing skill and grace. He then rolled to the side in front of Felicity, dodging a large battle axe. He continued to run, keeping pace with Felicity and keeping all the opposing soldiers from her. His swords were a blur as they stabbed, sliced, and skewered. He reached the gate and kicked it open. "After you, m'lady." He said, letting blood slowly drip from his sword, clothes, and hair.

 

It didn't take long for the ship to arrive at it's location. At last. Zendo thought. It will look like the gods are angry at these vikings. Lightening will rain from just a simple cloud, and destroy all. How fitting. He lifted his hands up to the sky, and a ball of lightening began to form in his hands.

Glad i thought to fix the guns. Only got ten shots in each though. Raifur thought to himself. He pulled on a cord nearby, then pushed a button that had risen out of the deck. Below, seven heavy artillery cannons popped out of the ships belly, and aimed downward to the Vikings below. "We have arrived sir. Won't be long before they begin to think something is up. The clouds deterorating." Even as Raifur said these words, a freak wind had begun to break the cloud up.

 

Zendo brought his hand down, calling down a massive lightening bolt. At the same time Raifur fired all of his cannons at once. The place they were shooting at practically disintegrated. "Loading next shot!" Raifur called. "I'm preparing another bolt." Zendo also called. "Were is our next target?" Raifur asked.

 

"Roger that." Raifur called back. He set the guns to spread over a mile radius, including the barracks in his targets. Then he began firing, putting the whole viking compound to the torch.
Zendo called down blast after blast of lightening, laughing as he ended the lives of many of his old captors.

 

(I'm sorry if I do this but I want to post this map once more so I can know where my characters are.)



Princess Ashia started to run for the walls, seeing that the walls started to fall slowly. "Maybe now I can try to go into the gardens and maybe find him." All of a sudden, there were more soldiers and mages coming out of the Drakken territory, waiting to capture or kill her. She started to close her eyes as she lifted her staff in the air. " Regina es Glacies." A calm air started to head straight for her from four corners but then started to turn into ice. The ice started to spin around her, and went straight into her heart, unlocking her summoning as she spinned her staff around. A woman then came forward from her heart but Princess Ashia started to feel herself a lot more vulnerable...

 

"Aye sir. I'm using my last bullets now." Raifur called back.
"And I to am running out of magic." Zendo also said. In truth he wasn't, but the last thing he needed was Howl knowing his limits.
"You want us to alert the mob? Also i think we can head back now. We leveled quite a lot of their compound." Raifur said.

 

Princess Ashia started to feel a little bit weak as she was done summoning but started to look up at the queen of ice. "Ciratana!! Please lend me your strength." She started to nod as she closed her eyes and opened them back up, her eyes glownig bright blue as she casted a spell on all of the soldiers that made them go to sleep. "Let us go." Princess Ashia and Ciratana started to run straight, going into the entrance of the garden. "this feeling... this force matches his. It comes from above..."

Felicity started to run faster as she was going into the entrance of a place that might be for mining. "William. What is this place? It looks like a mine." She started to walk up some, only to see workers mining and bringing in ores. "We must hurry. They might be bringing in reinforcements as we speak."

 

"Ok sir. Plotting course back to the base." Raifur said. He turned the gun ship back they way they came, and put all power into his turbines. He looked at the fuel gauge and saw just barely enough to make it back. The landing may end up being a little on the bumpy side though.

Zendo was also looking back at the destruction. He was a little upset about all the damage though. Dang it, i could have used half that stuff. Still at least the enemy won't have it now. I can always rebuild once Howl is dead and this kingdom is mine.

 

As the barrage of attacks landed on the city, Tettallin had been sure to get orders out to any of his rebels to get into their basements. He was glad that he had followed his own advice. Especially when he stepped out from his hiding spot. "What in the good graces were they doing!" A number of folks turned around to see the gambler gawking at the destruction that had laid itself over the lands. A small group of vikings were near by, scowling at him. Reaching down he picked up a plank of wood and hurled it at the clouds, "Cowards! Only magic wielding cowards would destroy a bar!" His small act seemed to sooth the vikings.

Crossing the street of rubble, Tettallin stopped before his favorite tavern, which lay in ruin. Falling to his knees he scooped up a handful of the building. His voice was low, and filled with sorrow, "Dammit now where am I supposed to gamble?"

 

(present time)
It took Ven and Kik a while, but they found what they were looking for. An underground laboratory. There, about 10 Knights stood in full armor, and about 5 alchemists behind them were experimenting. All of them dropped what they were doing to fight Ven and Kik. Kik quickly lunged at one of the Knights, plunging his sword straight through the crease in the helm of the knight. 3 other knights stepped and lunged at Kik with lances in hand. Kik quickly stepped back, and Ven stepped behind the Knights, touched his blade and whispered something. The sword quickly turned blue, and he sliced through the armor of all 3 knights, killing them all in one swing.

Ven turned around to meet the other 6 knights whom had surrounded Ven in a semicircle now. The alchemists carefully drawing circles and whispering incantations to one another.
"Act fast KIK!!!"-Ven
Kik jumped off a step and went back to back with Ven. They both closed their eyes for a moment, touched their blades as they whispered something, and then their blades turned blue. The knights all lunged at them, but they dissappeared. Vanished. Only for a second. Then one knight fell. then another. Soon all the alchemists and knights were down. blood filled the room. They reappeared in blue flame.
"Hmmm.....harder than I thought......"-Kik
"And yet all the easier at the same time."-Ven
"Isn't life a paradox"-Kik
"mmmmmm....."-Ven

 

Will nodded. "Aye Felicity, it's a mine but they're mining onyx ore. Why would they need so much onyx ore though? Have they finally gained knowledge of weaponcrafting?" He breathed, pondering things. He wondered if the vikings finally gained skills in weaponcraft. "Still, we need to press deeper into the mine, for the airship that Howl is using is too destructive." He said to her.
