Final Fantasy XIV

    This is a site i found depicting a new Final Fantasy for online play.
    I do not know if it is fake or if it's for the ps3 or pc, so the discution is in the open

    It's real, It's online play and was announced last year. Not sure which platform it will be on, people seem to debate over it sayingthat the PS3 is more powerful and can handle the FFXIV gaming while a PC cannot. While others say that the PC can handle it because PC's keep on upgrading.

    Honestly, I don't like how they put the FF series as "Online". FFXI should have been called "FF Online". This one should be called "FF Online: *insert title*" as should the rest of future online FF games should be. Putting the online FF's with the series seems rather annoying, it's as if I have to buy it just to complete and collect =\

    yeah i know, even though they are online, they are still very good FF games and they consider it as part of the series.

    i don't usualy agree, but all the elements of a FF is in there:

    mention of crystals;

    Cid;

    trouble of a bigger power, etc...

    No they havent. If you're talking about VII or Advent children, Respectively there is Cait Sith and the Moogle doll.

    VII also had a game in the Gold Saucer featuring a moogle family. ^_^

    I heard about this a while ago. I'm with Libertine that XI should have been called FF Online, with XIV here being a sequel, in effect.

    I've never even considered playing XI, and I doubt XIV will turn out to be any different.

    not in the original ff 1-2 (dunno which one)

    the remake doesn't count as in the original series

    Do any of you guys actually own a PS3? There's a trailer for it, doesn't reveal much but that's enough to tell me that it's coming out for the PS3.
