    Hey guys.

Just recently my family got a Wii sports set. Today i had a go at the wii fitness, and got a 80, as in, 80 years old.

I feel this would be a lot lower if the my character had hit tennis balls instead of flailing which is what he was doing, my arm movement was steady and I was NOT flailing my arm. Also if my base balls had gone straight instead of backwards, I was again, hitting straight and true. Finally, if the stupid bolling ball went straight instead of curving left at the last minute, I wasn't twisting my wrist at all and even tried twisting my wrist all the way to the right with the same result.

Now, is it something I am doing, or is it a glitch and I just happen to be unlucky. I am prepared to spend 8 or 9 hours, my normal gaming time before I go to something else, trying to figure this out. Considering that aside from lots of family fun, with stuff going everywhere but straight, and absolutely no other point besides, I really do not want to give up my game time.

    Any Ideas?

It's more of a flick of the wrist then a full on arm swing motion (especially in Tennis). Unless of course you have the new Wii Sports Resort with that attachment where you have to make full arm swing motions.

Just keep practising... or cheat by crouching. Practising is better, you'll learn how to use the board and better your balance. When I played, I tend to lean forward a bit as so I wouldn't lean on to my heels and create some improper balance.

The game do that to me in tennis but my age is 30. YAY! Anyways, just practice. That's all you have to do.

It's true. The first Wii Sports - without the Wii Motion Plus accessory - doesn't require much complex movement to uh... "get the ball rolling," so to speak. A majority of the games, Tennis included, can be dealt with with a simple wrist flick or hand jive. Big, sweeping motions usually only work for bowling, and even then you can achieve maximum ball thrust with a small flick. But it's funner to do it as if actually bowling, imo. They especially don't work for Tennis.

Also, how you time your swing affects where the balls lands on the other side of the court. The closer the balls is to your Mii when you swing, the more inward the ball will land on the court. The further out it is when you swing, the the more outward it is. Which side of your Mii the ball is approaching will, of course, affect this as well.

In ANY case, whatever you're doing currently isn't working, so might I suggest discontinuing that method?

maybe you should check you sensor bar sensitivity. it should have two blicking dots that goe the opposite way you move your remote. move those dots out of the screen to see if there are any stray dots. that could be your problem.

I hate to bump but I'm checking in to let you guys know that I am considered 27 in that game, younger than you summoner. Thanks for all the help you guys.

*note that I achieved that score about a month ago, then quit the game because it got boring*
