  1. EtherealSummoner

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

Lezardus walked towards where the twig snapping came from & started to raise his hands. "Revelis Hideus." Lezardus started to bend the light from the sun & took his other hand to make the light shine in the shadows, revealing a boy that was hiding in the shadows. Cindera then took out her mace with fear. "Who are you?!"

    >First off, Tim isn't a boy. He's in his 30's. And he's a ninja. You only see him if he wants you to. I'll go along with him appearing... This time.<

The figure Lezardus revealed turned into a dark silhouette. It then changed shape, molding into Tim's shape. He was garbed completely in black. A black mask was even covering his mouth. He stared coldly at them. "Ignorance is a bliss to those who know the truth. For the ones who are ignorant, they fail to see the horrors that are revealed with knowledge. It is better to live through life protected from the truth." He held out his hand and opened it up. He was holding a small ball. He slowly tilted his hand until the ball started to roll out of his hand. It fell down to the ground. The moment it landed on the ground, the ball burst in a bright flash of light. Once the light faded, Tim was nowhere to be seen.

Gerik looked around. "Okaaaaay... Anybody know who he was? And what he was saying? It sounded like he was trying to warn us. But it makes no sense."

"Beats the heck out of me. He's a reen, all i know." Ben said with a shrug. "We better see to those undead, before something else happens." At those words, seven undead skeletons, holding axes walked out of the woods. Bits of flesh hung from them, and they wore rusty helms. They had the deathly grimace of the dead, and blue lights could be seen in their eyes. "Oh wonderful." Ben growled, then louder, "Firisa ra Senvento!" He threw his hand out, sending a wave of fire at the undead. It slammed into them full force, rendering them in pieces. "Phew." But suddenly, they began coming back together. Ben watched in horror, as the undead pieced themselves together, until they were completely rebuilt. Their eyes flashed brighter. "God, this is gonna be a long night." The sun continued to disappear behind the hills.
"Firisa Reven." He called out, raising a wall of flame between them and the undead. "Any one have any ideas? I'm out." He said in a strained voice, struggling to keep the undead from coming within the flame.

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

Cindera started to smile as she raised her hands. She started to bend the fire that was on Ben's sword. "Flumus Reversa!" Cindera started to turn the fire into light on his sword while Lezardus started to close his eyes. "Repellus Holamus." Lezardus bend the element of the sword & made the element have a strong power against the undead. "If you use your element along with our powers of bending light, then you can actually turn the flames that you just used on the undead into a powerful barrier that can actually kill them."

"Iblase!" Came a shout from behind the skeletons, sending a blast of light at one. "Sorry I'm late! I was busy picking acorns!"

The owner of the voice rushed past the opening she had just created, but when the skeletons slashed at it, the blades went through her. It was an illusion, as she had dived down and crawled the last stretch while the illusion took the blows. Nadania finally reached the group, brushing a leaf out of her hair. "Well, it can't be all that hard to take out a bag of bones, right? I mean, they don't even have muscles! And they're walking. . . Then that must mean that they're really strong. . Yanno, maybe we should just retreat for now and make up a strategy! You know, because we're only just seeing them for the first time now!"

She just couldn't stop blabbering out of sheer tension.

"Why don't we just pull them apart? Bit by bit." Gerik suggested. He punched down towards the ground. His arm went into the ground, all the way up to his shoulder. He pulled his arm out, having it covered with dirt and rocks. He pointed his earth covered arm at a skeleton, blasting several rocks at it. The rocks shattered the skeleton's spinal cord, causing it to fall apart. Gerik then quickly slashed another one vertically. Before the body could fall apart, Gerik grabbed it and held it together with his arm in the ground. The remainder of the dirt crawled off his arm and went into fill whatever crevice Gerik caused from his sword slash. He let go of the skeleton and jumped back. He put his hands together and then pulled them apart. The skeleton's body halves flew apart from each other.

(i've been reading and like where is everyone so i can like join)

Z had been walking, flying, running, reading, jumping, earth bending, drawing, and everything else he could think of, if this what his life would be like then he hated it, he really need to find some friends, he had been to a town already and got a map, but he didn't like so he just stored it away. He had so much time on his hands he was on page 1000 in his book, there was no adventure anywhere it seemed. So he yelled out," WHERE'S THE FUN AT?" and kept going.

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

Cindera raised her hands as she was getting ready to bend the sun's light but the sun wasn't there anymore. "OH MAN! Without the sun I won't be able to bend any fire. I can try to bend earth but I'm not good at bending that element!" Lezardus started to smile as he sat down. "The dark... I love it..." Lezardus started to bend the powers of darkness & made a orb start to appear in his hands. "Use this Gerik. Exorcansix Ventan.." Lezardus made the orb combine with Gerik weapon & gave it a corrupted form. "Wait a minute. IF THE MOON COMES OUT NOW, I CAN USE IT'S LIGHT TO TURN IT INTO FIRE!"

"Moon is a bit more of a cold light to be honest." Ben growled. He whipped his arms around, creating a small fire ball, that grew brighter and hotter with intensity. "Just... a... little more." He gasped, putting his all into the ball. Finally, he had a condensed ball of white hot fire. "NOW! Firisa Ra Veranga." He shouted, hurling the ball at the skeletons. BOOM! The ball slammed into one, and melted it along with several others. 3 targets went down with the shot, but Ben had also reached his limit. "I'm out." He gasped, then fell flat and passed out.

Z walked into a quiet little town, he took down his hood and went walking. There wasn't much to do really, everybody seemed to just go about there life, and nobody was really in pain. So he sat down next to an old man that was blind. Somehow the blind men knew he was there and spoke" hello there, you seem to be very young, am i right." said the blind men. "Yes, yes i am, how did you know?" Z asked. "When your blind, you can see a lot. But i was wondering, can you help are town?" he asked. " With what, this place seems to be at peace." said Z " Oh it is not, the Senventra, they own this place, they make us do what ever they want, they have raped or women and killed are children. they hate the gods, and wish to punish us for there mistake, please help us with you powers, nobody here will stand up for themselves, that's how i lost my eyes." the old man explained. "I will help do not worry anymore, when do they come next?" he asked. " You came on a good day, they come now, so be ready." he said.

They sat there and waited for a long time, that's when there was a horn, then horses where heard, everybody ran for a house, and shut there doors, even the old man. " Good luck my boy, may the gods help you." was his last words before the door shut. Z got up and took off his bag, he didn't know really who they where but had heard much about them. As they came up, he sensed about five only. Then they where all on horses looking at him. "Hey, you guys must be from the Senventra." Yelled Z.
"Yes we are, are you knew in town, because if you are, then you must pay a fine for letting you stay here, if you are passing by then you again must pay a fine." said the young man. He looked to be about in his 20s, he was all bald with a mean face. " So you do mess with all these kind people in this town, well then i can't let you do that anymore. Leave or face your doom." Said Z with all the fake anger he could use. He made the a pecei of the earth come up and he formed it into a ball, a hard one. "Well and earth mover, well then looks like we have something in common." said the man, he got off of his horse and made the ground shake, trying to make Z fall. " Then please, come make us leave if you can." the man said.

Z got ready to fight, he shot the ball of earth at the man but it was stopped in mid air. A fight with another earth mover would be very hard indeed. He did not know how to fight someone that could stop his attacks. So he ran at him and made the earth come up and mold around him, he was going to slam into him with all this earth molded all over him, but instead, the earth fell from him and he felt a fist slam into his face. As he got up, he tried something different, he pulled up the earth like a whip and lashed it at the man, but again his attack was stopped, just like he wanted, and with a move of his foot and a wave of his hand going up to the sky, the earth came up under the man and exploded up. But the man moved and once again the earth did it again, and five more times, and each time the man moved. Then the man laughed, and put his hand on the ground and a giant hand came up, somehting that would take Z a while to make, it came flying at him but Z made a shield to block it but it broke, sending him flying into a cart smashing it. He got back up and this time tried something he made up, and ran at the man and was was using a melee of hits, but soon each time he did it, the earth came up and hit the man in this face, and every time he through a punch, the man backed up but was hit again by the earth coming up. Soon he caught on and let Z hit him with his fist. Z stayed there shocked and that was his biggest mistake, the man put his hands together and smashed them into Z's head, then kneed him in his face. Then he pushed him back.

"You see boy, you cant use the earth at all, time to end this." said the man. He put up his hands and made a strange face, he looked like he was trying to push somehting up, and when he hands got above his head, he moved his feet and slammed them into the ground, then moved his hands to the left, and then forward at Z. Z didn't know what to do so he made a earth bat with spikes all over it, thinking if he made him go back again, then he could make the earth come up and break him back. So he ran at the man untill the man shouted"DRAGON OF EARTH RISE!" Z stopped and looked, and otu of the ground came a giant dragon, spikes all on his head, coming at Z, he ran back but turned and made a giant sheild, but again it broke and the dragon made him go up in the sky. Then the dragon came back down and slammed him into fives houses and back to the man. Hard. The man looked at Z and said" tie him up, we can take him with us." Then he blacked out.

Ben woke to see a skeleton right in his face. "Oh man." He yelled, almost falling off his horse. He threw his hand forward, which coincidentally had the sword in it. The blade stabbed through the skeletons skull, and out the other side. Immediately, it crumbled. "Now that's odd." Ben managed to say, then slid off his horse. While his friends continued the fight, the picked the skull apart. Inscribed on the back of it was a magic circle, the sign of the necromancers. His sword had pierced it's center, destroying the Animate mark. "Guys! Destroy their heads! They have some kind of circle in them. Destroy it, and they just become bones." Ben whipped his blade around, slicing the tops off the skeleton heads. The crumbled. "Wish i could do more." He gasped, still tired from his ultimate fire spell.

Kuan's quill seemed to simply skim over the pages of his travel journey, making out his signature style of a nearly chicken scratched words, for which he was so often chastised by the teachers. Even though he had written the words so quickly, and so untidily, he could see that each mark of ink was firmly resting upon the parchment. Leaning his face low in towards the book, the Reen looked over his work thus far. The various, pointless accounts that he had made within the journal that reflected only his boredom were, at least, exactly the way he wanted them to be. They were, so far as he knew, well written, well structured, and detailed to the breaking point. If these entries would not suffice for a travel log, then he did not know how he would ever be able to satisfy the higher ups within the school.

Looking still for more to write of before the sun in this place finally put itself into rest, he removed his attention from his books, unto his location. For the night, he had chosen to camp out in the shade of a rather large apple tree, which stood alone in the midst of a seemingly infinite prairie. The grass upon the land was low, and fresh, and seemed as though some sort of groundskeeper had made it his or her habit, or perhaps, their duty, to see to it that each blade had been maintained. Dotted unevenly across the grassland, small, patches of yellow and blue flowers made their home next to minuscule ponds, which were even fewer across the plain. It was upon the horizons that Kuan found the most intriguing sights to record. The behemoths of the earthen brethren, the mountain ranges overlooked the flatness of the prairie from their safe distance. It was as though they were reaching out to him, pleading with him to come and visit. Excited by this thinking, Kuan rushed his quill across the parchment again. And again, he gave forth a chicken scratched account of his thoughts, and epiphanies from that exact moment.

After another quick paragraph or two, Kuan heaved himself into a stretching motion, as he brought himself to his feet. In the stretching of his arms, his right hand grazed against the side of a low hanging apple, glossed over in a shining, dark red. It certainly looked delectable, maybe even the finest apple upon the entire tree. The necromancer's temptations started working themselves up. Just staring at the fruit made him hungrier than he could remember being at all on his journey so far. It looked so tasty, and juicy, and he could not deny that he wanted that one treat now, and not later. With a forlorn look out to the setting sun in the west, and another one back at the apple, hanging upon the tree, now literally mocking him in his frustrations, he let out a sigh. For now, the apple could remain in its seat of comfortable strength. But the next sun would see its end, and Kuan's triumph over it.

"Don't get to smug and comfortable, my friend. Tomorrow, you're breakfast."

Collecting his loose belongings, namely his ink bottle, his quill, and his books, and returning them to his travel bag, he tossed the lot of it gently into the front end of his personal tent, and entered into the one man construct to turn in for the night. His travel robes would act as his blanket, while a spare cloth, packed into his travel bag was used as a ground cover. Thus, even on the chilliest of nights during the season, he'd be able to keep as warm as possible. And if need be, he had an spare set of robes to pull out if it got colder than anticipated. The bottom end of his bag, packed with softer, less fragile materials, served the purpose of a head cushion, keeping his head off the cold ground, and in as perfect of comfort as a man could ask for. Therein, resting peacefully under the soon to be star cluttered skies, he drifted off into a blissful slumber, of what he prayed would be the sweetest of dreams, and the most energizing of rest.

Z woke up in a cell, it was dark, very dark almost pitch black, he saw bones everywhere, it took him a while, but he heard noise, lots of it. He was most likely in some base of the Senventra, he had lost his fight, somehow that giant earth dragon really came up. He could control it back at him though, it was too strange. Then he noticed, his cloak was gone, so was his mail bag version travel bag. If they found that book, he was dead, he had to get out of here now. He closed his eyes and thought of the ground shaking, and it did. He heard screams and yells, but no death. He got up and shot some earth up to break his cuffs. The cell doot was broken and he ran out. He just hoped he would live.

Sendo had been trying to keep the skelatons down. No matter what he tried they kept getting up. None of his spells could keep them down for more then a minute at most. "We're never going to win this are we? They won't stop until we join them among the dead." Sendo kept fighting though; if they we're going to fall, he was going down with a struggle.

That's when he heard Ben yell out. Quickly taking his advice, Sendo knocked a head off with his staff. Before the body could do anything to stop him, he smashed the skull under his foot. The skelaton dropped to pieces before him. "So the skull controls them? Well then I've got an idea. Everybody! I need some cover. I'm going to try and destroy all the skulls at the same time but I'll need you guys to keep them off me!" Sendo spun his staff and smashed another skull just before he was attacked.

"Glad someone is getting to bussiness." Ben called to him. He managed to get near Enough to Sendo to guard him. "Make it fast, i barely have enough magic left to keep a barrier for more than a minute. Firisa." He said, setting his blade on fire. He began whipping it around them, forming a sharp, heated barrier.

"Stand aside! Defenses are my tale-WOAH!"

Nadania had boldly stepped forward for a moment before yet again falling flat on her face. Ground 3, Nadania 0. Though she recovered almost instantly and began to chant, bringing up a barrier of solidified light around the small group. "Eh, sorry. I should be able to hold this for another minute or so, so take your time.

"Thank god for barriers." Ben said, pulling his sword back into its storage form. He sheathed it, and sat down panting. "This killing the already killed, is really not my thing." He said. Heaving a sigh, he began counting enemies. "Is it just me, or are there more?" Four more had joined the remaining enemies. Now they were 6. "Oh jeez. Enough already."

Sendo had started his long incantation as soon as Ben had come over. When Nadania constructed her barrrier, Sendo was almost done. Finally he uttered the final word and the crystal in his staff began to glow. Sendo quickly jumped up and pointed the staff towards the nearest skelaton. A bolt of lightning streaked out from the crystal, striking the skull and vaporizing it. The body fell to pieces instantly. Sendo fired off another, and another, repeating the process until all were gone. Once the were, Sendo dropped to the ground, using his staff to keep himself from falling over. "How was... that?" he said, panting with exhaustion. The spell took a great deal of power from him, but he knew he'd be fine if given a chance to rest.

"Nice lightening." Ben replied grinning. His horse had run off during the commotion, and Ben doubted he would see it again. "I'll miss that horse." He said sadly. He walked over to the nearest skeleton, and kicked it. It did not jump up and try to rip his leg off. "Well, that's that. Should we move on or make a camp?" The idiocy of that statement made itself known to him the second the words left his mouth. Making camp in a forest were skeletons had just tried to kill them? Seriously? "Maybe we should just go to town." He said slowly, while mentally kicking himself. Indeed, lights could be seen through the trees, marking a near by town. "Looks like were close to a likely place." Ben said, pointing. He set off towards the town. With or without his companions, he was NOT spending another second in this god forsaken forest.
