    Ventus Kickass Keyblader!

so when are we ready to go?

    I'll make another keyblader.

    Name: Ryan Kenel
    Age: 14
    Appearance: [IMG]
    Alliance: Good
Bio: Ryan is the son of the owner of a medicine shop called the Kenel Kure in Radiant Gardens. It is quite popular in the marketplace and it is a usual place for all adventurers to retrieve their medicine. People in authority of Radiant Gardens are eying the shop though. They believe that they are helping the "evil" darkness too much. This is preposterous to the Kenel family because they believe that all beings, both light and darkness have the right to be healthy. They also believe that darkness is not evil. Ryan goes to school, hangs out with his best friends, Hamil and Jacob and loves to play street blitzball. Street blitzball is a new sport that came from a world called Spira.
Personality: Kind, shy, finds it hard to fight if necessary.
    Weapon: Fisticuffs (currently)
Powers: Cure, potion making, synthesizing, fire. He can cast a small ball of light but is not strong enough to harm anything.
Theme: YouTube - Destiny Island (Moreaway Re:mix) - Kingdom Hearts

    Name: Malisa Jals

    Age: 19

Appearance: OC - The Spellbreaker by `hizuki24 on deviantART - Path of Redemption -CONTEST- by ~SyngLok on deviantART
Not sure which to take yet.

    Alliance: Good.

Bio: "I suppose that I'd better start at the beginning. You see, my family is a very prominent family of mages. In fact, we're probably one of the best there is. Not to be bragging or anything. Anyways, this all started. . . I can't even remember the exact date anymore. I think that it was more or less two years ago. Maybe more. So much has happened between now and then. Anyways, my brother Isilma was experimenting with Magik circles at the time. He was twenty two at the time. . . back on topic! I was walking by his room, and he was just sitting inside the circle. I was just going to ask him what he was doing, but then he just vanished. Like, bright flash of light kind of vanished. It wasn't exactly traumatizing, I should say, but I felt obligated to go and find him - wherever he had gone. So, I've been traveling ever since then, and still not a thing to be found. I know he's out there somewhere, I just do!

Oh yeah, and for some reason I got a keyblade. It appeared in my hands the moment he disappeared. Go figure.

Personality: The loyal type. One who needs a companion to serve, and would feel utterly lost without one.

Weapon: For Hamstertastic: Keyblade by =ValentineAngel on deviantART

Powers: High Magik prowess. (Currently thinking of a personalized skill list.)
Spell Circles: She nicked one of her brother's books before she left and has been studying it since she left.
    - Defensive Barrier: Simply put, a spell circle surrounds the ground she is on and (With a maximum radius of two yards) a barrier erects itself on the edges of the circle. The larger the circle, the more spread out the power is. Also, every hit the barrier takes takes a chunk out of her available mana.
    - Trap Bomb: A spell circle that, once placed, becomes invisible and activates once an opponent steps on it. The effect ranges from a simple 'sticky' trap affecting the speed of an opponent to being like a mine and exploding. The longer this runs (depending on the type) the more mana it takes.
    - Offensive Blaze: Appearing in front of her hands, a spell circle glows and fires a perfectly cylindrical surge of light at an opponent. A moderately powerful spell, but can be extremely or minorly strong if she wills it. Once again, if Malisa uses a more powerful blast, then
Persistence of Memory: Only works if her target is asleep. Allows her to alter someone's memories and perception of past events. The procedure must have a willing target, otherwise she must fight a mental battle with the targeted in which her own self could be destroyed in the process.
Scattershot: Using the Keyblade, Malisa fires a small pearl of light at an opponent which then explodes into about ten more pearls of light, which then in turn each explodes into ten orbs of light the size of tennis balls each. Covers a radius of of two yards, usually.
Glide: The ability of the Wisdom Drive to float across the ground, as I recall.
Typical Magiks: Malisa, through the Keyblade and years of training, can perform all tier two magiks (Those ending in 'ra' from the Kingdom Hearts games.)
    - Stockpile: She is able to store the energy of one of these magiks into the form of a bead for future use, in which she can just will the energy back from the form of the bead into the normal form or throws it at an opponent.
Dazzle: Summons sparkling multicolored lights - can be shot into the air like fireworks or be used to blind opponents. Or, can be used to model things, such as the structure of a building.
Pervading Aura: A defensive aura that surrounds Malisa's body used to ward away elemental attacks. Lessens the strength of Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder-type magiks.

Oy, Shadow. Do you want characters to be even in gender or not? I need to know this for which character to rehash.

How many characters are we allowed to play in this? Because that one bit of logistics will alter my entire setup, and the subplots and back stories for my characters, as well as what character I use.

    Name: Yero

    Age: 22

    Alliance: Evil

    Appearance:

Personality: Yero is calm, he doesn't seem to ever lose his temper. He hates dirtying his own hands, using heartless and nobodies to do all but the most important objectives, which he'll do himself. He complains that doing things is a pain but he'll still willingly do them. He seems to take an interest in anybody that shows some power. When he's interested he starts taunting them and testing thier limits to see if they're worth fighting. He doesn't really care for his boss. He'll do as he's told but won't bother to help if something goes wrong. He's only in this for his own amusement.

Bio: Yero was one of the first of this war to actually chose a side, he chose darkness. Tired of the peaceful life, he willingly searched out and gave his heart to the Heartless. His Heartless came about a few hours later and felt that he should distance himself from his past. He searched out the leader of the Heartless and Nobodies and joined his cause so that he could amuse himself. He's been doing missions ever since, bored by the lack of interesting or strong opponents.

Weapon: His battle axe, called Eternal Raid. The axe is as large as he is, but Yero wields it effortlessly with one hand.

Powers: Yero has full control over Heartless and Nobodies, able to make them follow orders with ease. He also can use dark portals to travel far distances. Yero's main power though is a manipulation of his own gravity. He can manipulate his feeling of gravity so that for him, up is actually down. This lets him essentially walk on walls or on air. If Yeeo grabs hold of someone, they share his feeling of gravity until he lets go.

@Roxas: umm.... 1 or 2 more characters on either side should do. i plan on making 1 more good guy myself.

    Name: Zeije Calabaz II
    Age: 26
    Alliance: Neutral-Other Hero

    Appearance:
Zeije is generally your average looking individual, being of an average form, and an average height, so far as humanoid beings go. His full height would put him upwards around six feet tall, the norm for anyone around his age. His form is that of your everyday person. He clearly keeps his body in as best of form as he can muster, though he is far from being any sort of muscle man, or stallion of a man. His physical build simply reflects a good level of health, and physical readiness, even if he can’t quite hack it as a macho man. Some unique characteristics of Zeije’s features include his awkwardly narrowed, and pointed face, which gives him the rough semblance to a bird. Also a defining feature of his physical appearance is his hair, and his eyes, which share a light, lustrous silver-blue hue.

Yet the most bizarre of Zeije’s physical features, is the appearance of his skin, when left exposed. The uniqueness here rests in that he doesn’t seem to even have any skin to speak of around his torso, and parts of his legs. Instead, he seems to be adorned by a series of lizard, notably dragon-like scales. The scales are colored in the same silver-blue hue as his hair and eyes, and upon his torso, form a sort of jacket of covering, starting upon his neck, running down his chest, back, and his arms, along to his wrists, after which a single scale protrudes out unto either of his hands. The area around his abs is, rather oddly, left uncovered by this scale pattern. Upon his legs this pattern is present down from his thighs, to halfway along his calves. Those few areas not covered by scales are of a slightly paled complexion.

    Attire:
In the passed, Zeije had adorned a set of custom designed armor, forged upon his home world. This armor consisted of a wide assortment of lightweight protections, which made for a light, but effective setup. The exact features of this armor have become rather obscured in his mind of late, though he knows that each piece resembled that of a dragon, just as he has been adorned by a series of scales. He also seems to remember that they were of a royal purple color, though he is not sure if he really recalls it correctly at this point. After all, it’s been well over two years since he last set eyes upon it enough to actually take it in. These days, he has given himself a very different form of outfit. He has abandoned his traditional armor, in the favor of a white and blue set of robes, and shawls, giving his appearance a more nomadic look, as opposed to one of a warrior. Rather oddly, he wears no footwear, which doesn’t seem, to bother him much. His feet seem to just take the beatings from the ground beneath him.

    Bio:
The story of the life of Zeije Calabaz has its ultimate beginnings on a distant world known to many as Del Fyora, a world that played home to a race of beings known as Dragonites (best I can come with). This was, in Zeije’s lifetime, a world of over abundant wealth, and a massive amount of a political, and military might, the likes of which only a few worlds have seen of late. In fact, it was such a powerful world, that its governing body was able to use diplomatic means to forge a small empire for itself, which consisted of Del Fyora, and four other worlds. The resulting event was one of a monumental proportion. The worlds under Del Fyora, and the home world of the imperial throne began working towards Utopia, redistributing the wealth of the worlds, creating a classless society, due to that there was only one class consisting of all individuals. Of course, the Utopian Empire, as it was known, was not entirely safe form harm, as one might have expected it to be. It was constantly under threat from external forces, and the occasional rouge enemy from within the empire itself.

In desperation to protect the perfect society that they had created, the governors of The Utopian Empire sent out a call to arms to protect their world from these threats. In response to this call, thousands, perhaps tens of thousands of youth flocked to military outposts across the empire to begin their training in both melee combat, and in the use of an ancient form of power, taught by the elders, and generals of the armies of Utopia. Amongst these hordes of youthful, hopeful soldiers, was a rather handsome young man by the name of Zeije Calabaz II, a man of about 18 years of age, rearing to get his military legs on, and follow in the footsteps of his father, who had risen through the ranks of the military to become a high ranking general. Little did he know that the creation of this army was to be the destruction of both his own reputation (in the not too distant future), and the fall of The Utopian Empire.

Even from the earliest time of his military training, it was clear to the superiors that Zeije was cut to be a soldier, just as his father had been. Graduating from the training at the age of 19, half the time as any of the others that had gone through the program, he was immediately granted the rank of sergeant of a small squad consisting of ten troops under him. This squad would rise to some level of prominence within the Del Fyoran armies. They would win some twenty battles for the Utopian Empire, and would ultimately. This rise into fame was to happen over some four years, or so. Yet it was soon to be learned by the squad of Zeije, that sometimes, too much fame could become one’s undoing.

Yes, betrayal was afoot within the empire, and utopia was soon to be lost, despite the success of the defenses against external threats. It was the fame of Calabaz’s armies that sparked a certain amount of fear into the overseers of the Utopia. They feared that his actions were an attempt to gain the support of the commoners, such that he would be able to stage a rebellion against the governing bodies. The betrayal began with the coronation of Zeije as the world’s greatest of heroes, granting him a larger span of command over a larger number of soldiers. This was to be the first phase, drawing him into a false sense of security. For about two years, they allowed Zeije to continue on his path of leadership, defeating various new threats to Utopia. But after these two years of humoring, the governors unleashed one of their other prominent generals.

An older man, who went by the name of Elyad Uliquiem, was sent to stir up a mock rebellion off of Del Fyora. The heads of the military, which were unaware that this was simply a set up by the governors, called in Zeije to quell this movement. They were under the belief that this was a legitimate uprising against the Utopian Empire, and believed the governor’s tell that it was only a small one. Therefore, they allowed Zeije only a small number of troops, numbering only about fifty men. Arriving at the site of the said rebellion, Zeije’s troops were confronted by a force of one thousand Utopian army soldiers, lead in battle by Elyad. Believing (rightfully) that Elyad had been the one behind the attacks. The proceeding battle would end in a dual between both Elyad, and Zeije, which would result in the killing of Elyad at the hand of the latter. But this victory came at the cost of the entire forces of both men, and when Zeije returned from the clash, he was faced with a court martial.

The governors had procured false documentations of Elyad’s arrival on the scene of the rebellion, which they presented to Zeije, and an imperial military court. At the conclusion, Zeije was convicted of the murder of an imperial officer, and sentenced to an execution. Prior to being executed, however, Zeije was rescued by a group of loyalists that believed him to be free of the guilt of his convicted crime, that he had been setup to take a fall by the governors from the start. Now freed, Zeije escaped from his holding place, and into the wilderness of Del Fyora. Even so, the governors saw little worry. In fact, his escape gave them the chance to get rid of another possible threat to their power: The son of Elyad Uliquiem, Orion, who had become a reckoned force that could destroy the government. Orion was sent out in pursuit of Zeije, and the two would battle, and chase, and flee from each other across several worlds, until finally, they found themselves within the midst of a larger conflict in a set of distant worlds….

    Personality:
Zeije’s personality it one that has clearly been the result of his upbringing, rather than a set of natural predispositions, caused by genetics, or just base humanoid nature. In the past, he had been just as any other youth that enlisted in any military force: He was excited, pumped up and ready to be fighting on the behalf of his people. In his first days as a sergeant, he would enter each conflict with a fever of joy, and optimism, one that seemed to give his earliest squads a higher morale. So overall he was someone who was happy to be fighting in the ranks, and fought because he wanted to be fighting. And after each conflict, he would linger for hours on end, celebrating each victory that graced his record. But following the events of the false rebellion, and his court martial, he came to realize that war was not such an exciting thing. Embittered, and dried out by his experiences, he has become a far less easy going person, often resorting to yelling at those who go about things in an unfit manner, especially in combat. No more does he linger on after a battle to celebrate a victory, or even mourn a defeat, even of a close ally. Instead, he has taken up an easy come, easy go type method, and is usually gone before most people even realize that he was there. Yet he still holds himself up to the ideals of a hero, a protector of people. He’s just become a more rough edged hero.

    Weapon:

    Twin Dragon –
Twin Dragon is a double bladed sword, having two separate swords connected to one another at the hilts, both of which resemble the heads of oriental styled dragons. The blades are made from fine, lightweight, yet durable steel, and sapphire stones fill in the eyes upon the dragon’s heads. The dragonheads are connected as though both are attempting swallow the other whole. The hilts of blades can also come apart, becoming two short swords, dual wielded with a rather well developed finesse. The dual wielding method is in fact the intended way of using the swords, as both were forged as separate weapons, and both have been given their own sheaths. The locking mechanisms that hold the two blades together was concocted by one of Zeije’s privates earlier on in his first days as a squad leader.

    Powers:
The crux of the powers of any of the Dragonite race is their simple mutant human skills. They can move faster, jump higher, last longer in battle, and ultimately, outstrip a normal human being in sheer physical prowess. Their senses are slightly more refined as well, though not too extreme in that respect. But by far, their greatest power is that ability to manipulate the energy produced by their souls. This energy is essentially pure, and unaltered, and allows them a large range of offensive and defensive abilities, as well as enabling them to achieve considerably higher levels of strength than normally available to them. In addition, in Zeije’s case, this power has lent itself to a very unique brand of magic that is derived from this power. He has also, since his time around the people of these new worlds, been picking up new ways to cast spells through this method. Those spells that he has been thinking about most extensively include the wind based, and light based ones, which are commonly used for defensive purposes (i.e. Aero, and Reflect, and their off shoots).

    Name: Orion Uliquiem
    Age: 26
    Alliance: Neutral-Other Villain

    Appearance:
Standing at a height of 5’10’’, having a VERY well built form, Orion is perhaps one of the most attractive people around that one could imagine. That is, if you only counted what his body looked like, seeing as the rest of his appearance is rather questionable. His head has a less rounded, and more squared off appearance, and his face seems to be something that was cut out from stone. This same squared off appearance is seen in his nose and ears. His complexion is of a darker tone, though it is not the result of a tan. Rather, he is naturally of a darker tone. He sports a slick, combed back, and shined, fiery-red hair style, which comes down in bushy sideburns on either side, and nears a soul patch just below his lower lip. His eyes are of a crystalline black color, and are narrow, and almost always squinting for some reason. Much like his kin, Zeije Calabaz, Orion Uliquiem adorns the scale structure of a dragon, having the same general pattern, and cover of scales. The only difference is that Orion’s scales are dark red, as opposed to Zeije’s blue-silver scales.

    Attire:
Still under the allegiance of The Del Fyoran Utopia, Orion continues to wear the traditional armoring of his people. This armor consists of a series of over lapping, and under lapping sheets of molded metal (colored black), oriented covering the majority of his form, leaving only a healthy few openings. While durable to a considerable degree, the armor is light, and allows for a surprising amount of flexibility with the user. Underneath the armored plating formed by the sheets, he adorns a set of lightweight battle robes, red in color, and made form a waterproof silk. The forearm gauntlets, and the foot/ankle pieces are reflective of a dragon’s claws, with both being usable as weapons in a tight spot. Normally, the armor would also consist of a samurai-like helmet, and sometimes, a mask. However, Orion has opted out of the use of this adornment, and instead, wears a black headband, attached to which is a golden medallion, bearing the crest of his family.

    Biography:
While Orion, like Zeije, had seen his share of successes in his earlier days as a military officer, his own history does not gain much significance until their paths were fated to cross. Yet awkwardly enough, there had been bad blood between their families since their fathers competed for positions of rank within the military. This would eventually reach the boiling point when Zeije’s father had been appointed Military Head over Elyad. Ever since that event, Orion had sworn that he would best the younger Zeije, and overtake him in military rank. Unfortunately, this would not happen at all within his history, as Zeije was determined to outstrip his own father, just as Orion was determined to best the younger Calabaz. Try as he might, he simply could not match up to his rival’s clout, and reputation as a hero.

He was further set back after Zeije’s induction as a hero of Del Fyora, and was nearly thrown into a rage at the governors who had named him so. It was even said that he had been threatening to rebel himself; this was before he realized that the governors were planning on bringing down their named hero. Upon hearing this, he offered his assistance to the governing figures, stating that he would do anything, even die to best his rival. Even though the rumors of his threats, and his rivalry with Zeije was well known, and usable, the governors decided that his father would be the better candidate to take on the task of bringing down the threat of their hero, Zeije Calabaz. Some years later, Orion would receive word that the plan had finally gone off, and that Zeije had killed his father in battle. This news served only to enrage him further.

Wanting to have the chance to exact his revenge upon Zeije in person, he arranged for one of his servants to set Zeije free. He knew that if Zeije had been set free, the governors would be set to send a bounty hunter after him. As he predicted, the governors called upon a warrior to hunt down their fugitive death row resident. Answering this call, Orion pleaded to allow him to go on the chase, stating that it was a matter of family honor that entitled him to this glory. In the end, the governors permitted Orion to pursue Zeije in his escape. Yet unknown to Orion, this had been the plan that the governors had been banking on the whole time. He had been the second greatest threat to their ‘Utopia’, and had been poised to be ridden from the Empire, just the way Zeije had been. Unaware of this ploy, Orion pursued Zeije across various worlds, never quite catching up to him, or at best, having but brief clashes with him before he slipped out from his hands.

At this point, the two have been playing this cat and mouse game for as long as either of them can stand, and now, their conflict has come upon a familiar set of worlds…

    Personality:
Well, the best way that it can be put is that these days, Orion is not always the kind of person that he may seem to be. He has become a man filled with deceitful mannerisms, and the tact with which to throw off what his personality really is in order to place himself above others as necessary to his goals. Often times, he will present himself as a friendly individual, offering a helping hand to them, and their causes. Using sweet talking rhetoric, he weaves word upon word of lies through his mind, and out from his mouth, drawing the trust of others away from his counterpart, Zeije. It is only after he has obtained the trust of others that he turns on them, and attempts to do them in, a tactic that he has employed once before against Zeije in their cat and mouse chase. Ultimately, he is both a warrior, and a trickster, making it a point to leave few obstructions left in his way, while scheming his way to prominence in the world order. He also, as evidenced by passed actions, has a great displeasure in his defeats, and takes his loses very seriously.

    Weapon(s):
    Red Dragon –
Red Dragon is in fact the secondary weapon in Orion’s lineup of military issued goodies, though usually accredited as his primary, as he seems to use it more often than any others. The weapon is pole blade type weapon, having the blade of a naginata sort of weapon upon it, though the blade appears to be more of a sword, attached to the end of the pole handle. Resting upon the top of the handle, between the blade and the pole, the weapon is fitted with a trinket, resembling a red dragon, writhing around in a swirling mass towards its center, as though chasing its own tail. Also adorned in this space on the weapon is a collection of groomed animal hair strings, taken as a prize from the various worlds that he has pursued his nemesis across in his efforts to capture him. Another interesting feature of the weapon is that the pole is collapsible, allowing it to be carried upon Orion’s back, within a sheath made custom for it when not in use.

    Hell’s Edge –
Named due to the battle that Orion had to go through to obtain it (not by his own choice, originally), which involved battling a warrior that had been labeled as a demon of his people, Hell’s Edge is a small battle axe, capable of being wielded in one hand, making it one of the most complementary weapons that Orion possess. It’s blade is said to have never needed sharpening, as it will simply never go dull, and it bears a pick upon the back end, opposite the blade, and a spear-like point upon to body. Its black and gold handle never seems to need shining, as it never gets dirty, no matter how much grime and filth it is exposed to. This too, is carried upon Orion’s back when not being used.

    Clawed Gauntlets –
As mentioned above, the gauntlets upon Orion’s armor can be used as weapons in hand-to-hand combat. In the long run, it is in this art that Orion has proven himself to be the most efficient, simply because of his sheer strength, compared to others of his race. Given that the armor is as durable as it is, the gauntlets, and the foot pieces make for extremely effective weapons, able to claw through skin as easily as any blade, or ammunition could. Much of his combat, even when he wields his other weapons, makes exclusive use of these weapons. His areas of proficiency include a jujitsu like style of martial arts, centered around grappling, and throwing, and the simply use of strength, as well as a more speed oriented style of fighting, similar to what one might expect from a kung fu type art. Often times, he integrates his hand-to-hand fighting with his weapons, most often, his axe.

Much like his adversary, Orion has been delving into other ways of utilizing this power outside of as a pure form of energy, and has developed a similar form of 'magic' through these means. Thus far, he has been looking into more of an attack-oriented base of magical spells, such as the use of fire, and lightning based spells that he has heard tell of.

I don't see what's wrong with their bios, and I can certainly say that their powers will not be a problem (I fail to see how they're any more powerful than the other characters that have been submitted). In any case I'll be sure to prevent it from getting out of hand.
