Z looked into the sky, even with all the noise and crying he felt like a new door was opened. Never again would he sit in class, never again would he have to listen to teachers, but he just wished he had someone here with him to see him go. As he went to his little rented house, he said to himself" bye morning i will never see this place again" he would travel by himself, alone, just like before, but his biggest wish is that he found someone to travel with. He looked at his diploma, and felt proud and pride in himself, he himself, by himself, was a Traveling Magi. He began to pack his stuff.

Lezardus was sitting under a tree meditating as he was busy trying to practice a light bending spell that he know will help him someday. "I love the light & the darkness. I can bend the other elements if I so choose as a member of the Seance but my powers are not suited to bend those of water & the likes." Lezardus looked up at the moon & his eyes turned black. A orb started to glow in his hands. "I hope I can finally bend this spell. I must be discreet. I will..." "ALEXANDER!! GET IN HERE! TIME TO GO TO BED!" The spell in his hand exploded when he was distracted, making him feel terrible. "Oh well. I will practice my bending in the darkest morning while my mother sleeps."

Cindera had her hands over the stove, bending the flames that was coming from it. "That's it. If I can keep this up, then I can make all flames my greatest weapon as well as my healing." "TARSA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Cindera jumped & accidently made the flames go straight for her hands, burning her. Luckily, her father was able to bend the fire spell but her hands was now jet black. "Now look what you've done! How in the world can I go on a journey with just one hand?!" "It doesn't matter! It's 11:15!! You need to go to bed TO GET READY FOR YOUR JOURNEY!! NOW GO!" She ran straight for her room as her father took a broomstick to chase her. "Oh man. Now I have to heal myself. *Sigh* Miraculum Helix."

The sun was coming up from the hills, it still looked more orange than yellow, many people where all ready up, but only a few. Z was walking out of the town, his hopes high, ready to see the world and help anybody he could. He looked back at the city and thought of how long he had been there, then he turned and promised himself to never look back. He didn't. About ten miles longer he thought on where to really go, he never made a plan, mostly to learn more on his element and read this long ancient book, find the gods and then be bored. But he had made a few places he wanted to go, not many but he never looked any up to know where they where, so he just walked. About five hours into the day he stopped, he was tried of just walking, he made the earth shift and come up, then just like before he broke down the practicals and other minerals and turned it into sand, he jumped on it and it lifted him up. He didn't know where to go, but he knew he wasn't walking the whole way, so he sat on his sand and flew away, he started to read his book learning more and more and more. That's when he made up his mind, to go anywhere there's trouble, that would be the best way to met the gods.

As Sendo finished packing and cleaning up his room, he took one last look at everything. I spent the only part of my life here that I can remember. I know nothing about the outside world but what I've read and learned within these walls. To leave here is just that much harder because of it. But still, I'll never have a chance to learn of my past here. So, go I must. Sendo put on his cloak and shouldered his pack. He grabbed his staff and headed out the door.

A few moments later he was at the gates to the large city campus. He paused for a moment before shaking his head, as if discarding some worry or doubt. He then stepped out and began walking down a worn dirt path. My first steps in the outside world.

Ben hoisted his pack over his shoulder, kissed his girlfriend good bye, then set out. He first stopped at the local bank and withdrew his entire life's savings, then bought a horse named Rai'el. This horse was a planes horse, bred to be sturdy and strong, as well as obedient and adaptable. After saddling up, he started out the city. He met Sendo along a the gates. "Sup man." He gazed off into the wilderness beyond.

Sendo was thinking of where to go first when he heard someone speaking to him. He turned to see another mage, on a horse. "Oh, hey. Just setting out yourself?" As Sendo looked at him he kept getting the feeling he knew him. Then he remembered, he had a few classes with him. "Do you happen to know anything about where we should go or anything? Personally this is my first time outside the gates."

"You and me both. I did hear that it isn't uncommon for magi to travel together, if you would permit it. Safety in numbers and all." Ben replied, then saw what could only be described as a cloud of dust with someone sitting on top. "Well, even I am not that lazy." He added, pointing at the cloud. Thankfully, Rai'en was highly trained, and not so easily startled. He looked at the cloud for a second, then went back to eating some grass. "I vaguely recognize him. Who is he again?"

Lezardus was walking towards Zerieth & Sendo with his bag floating from him using gravity & a book in his hand. Lezardus stood there & stared at Zerieth & then back at Sendo. "You leaving?" Lezardus then looked back at Sendo & then started to smile. "Strange." Lezardus then turned back around & then saw three necromancers already walking towards the gate with symbols on their heads. "I need some shadow."

"*Sigh* I'm going to drop dead before I can even make it past through the night." Cindera started to feel drowzy from bending the powers of light in order to heal her left hand. She started to walk towards the gate, only to see Lezardus & the others. She just stared at them. "I am not in the mood to even go by myself. *Sigh* Great." She started to walk on towards them with the bag in her right hand & just stared at them. "Um... may I join you guys?"

"HoWDOeeessTHiSAlWayShaaaaAAapentomEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeee!" A shrill voice cried before a barrel sped past the group of mages and proceeded to roll down the road and into a tree. Once it hit, it shattered and sent its occupant flying into a bush. Nadania was stunned for a moment. Though, she soon recovered enough to cast a spell and heal her body in a golden light. Dusting herself off, she got up and began to walk down the road, grumbling about how things just never seem to go quite right for her.

Gerik had woken up earlier than anybody else. He was already on his way to go be the traveling mage. By the time it had gotten to around noon, Gerik walked off the path a little bit and lied down against a tree. He quickly fell asleep.

    ------------------

"The traveling mage's cloak. Poor fool." A voice whispered in the area around Gerik. "He doesn't know anything. So he, along with all the ones like him, search for knowledge. But they only learn of lies. Always having kept the truth hidden away. Should I help them? Or are they too loyal to their academy?" Tim walked out of the shadows. He walked past Gerik before seeminly dissapearing just as quickly as he appeared.

"Not sure, I forget his name." Sendo was about to make a comment on how somebody could be so lazy when a couple others walked up. They also wanted to travel together apparently. Well there is safety in numbers. I guess it couldn't really hurt. "Well if we're all gonna travel together then we best get going, right?"

After seeing the cloud with a guy on top, Ben thought he had seen it all. A barrel going by at high speed with someone in it was totally unexpected. Still, with much effort, he managed to keep his composure. "Oooook." He tried very hard not to laugh, and then, after a valiant effort, he failed.

And so begins the beginning of the rest of my life

Standing in the golden-yellow light of the early morning sun, Kuan inhaled a hefty dose of cool air. With this one breath, he kneeled before the epiphany of his own freedom. He was now unchained, and in his opinion, untamed, open to wander to his heart’s content. Naturally, he would be following the same procedures as his peers, traveling the world, helping others, and recording his findings in his personal travel journal. The task would be an arduous one, but the travel would make it one that was worth the bores of writing down so many miscellaneous findings. At this moment, he looked back at the Magi school, now separated from him by a small, but noticeable distance.

Well, I guess this is goodbye, until next we meet, Magi school.

Like saying farewell to a friend that had been at his side for ages, only to be separated from him, Kuan gave the distant school a half-forlorn nod in his departure, and proceeded on his path. For his first journey, he would be taking a different route than his peers, who he had noted were sticking together, even for a short time. It didn’t bother him to travel in groups, but for the time being, he had some personal matters to tend to before he truly began his quest. Several people needed speaking to. One of them, he needed to reconcile with, somehow. Another, he would be meeting with for the express purpose of saying goodbye. The other, he had a promise to keep to.

Cindera was getting impatient as she took out her mace from the bag & whack Ben in the head with it. "May we please get going?!" Cindera then realized that she's letting her temper get to her. "I'm sorry. I'm Cindera if you want to call me." Lezardus just stood there looking at Ben & then looked back at Cindera. "Well... may we head west?"

Edit: SORRY!!! Wasn't thinking about your character's name when I was posting. Your name just pops up instead. Not only that, THIS IS THE FIRST RP WHEN I ACCIDENTLY USED YOUR USERNAME INSTEAD OF YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME SO DON'T EVEN TRY TO SAY THAT I MAKE THIS MISTAKE IN ALL OF YOUR RP'S!!

    >Summoner we have this problem every time in every rp. Don't call me Zerieth. My character is Ben! >< <

"Oi!" Ben yelled, trying to avoid the mace. "Stop, you might hurt someone with that." He started his horse forward, invariably leading everyone out of town.

    And so ends the Prologue.

    Now on to the story.

    Chapter 1.

It's been a few weeks since the magi first set out. Nothing much has happened to them, and the journey has been relatively easy. Currently, they are enroute to a nearby village complaining about undead. They had received orders just the day before. Ben had some pretty big complaints about the assignment. "Why are we going to some stupid village with superstition problems?" He never did believe in undead, save for necromancy. The stuff these villagers were talking about though was stuff a lot higher than what a normal necromancer could handle.

"Because as Traveler Magi we're expected to help the populas while we search for knowledge. Besides, judging from the stories it seems like they may have some sort of ancient magic going on there. We wouldn't be doing our job if ww didn't go and, at the very least, investigate it." Sendo was walking alongside Ben. His pack was filled a little mors then when he left the school and he was no longer worried about what he'd do outside the school. While he still didn't know the landscape, he was no longer worried about it. He'd go wherever they heard about strange occurances or ancient ruins. And if something went wrong, he'd have his friends right there with him. Sendo smiled at the thought. "Besides we could use a nice inn to stay at. I'm sort of tired of sleeping outside. Aren't you?"

Gerik looked at the sunlight. He smiled. "This freedom... Gotta love it." He opened up his bag, containing all of the history he gathered. Gerik hadn't gathered much though. Just a few documents. He took one of them and started to read it.

"In the year 416 the third war had begun. The Senz and the Reens began an alliance against the Seace. Many historians claimed that the Seace were attacked without provocation. But a few conspiracy theorists believe the opposite. That the Seace attempted to begin a war between the Senz and the Reens. And yet, if this theory is believed to be incorrect due to a lack of information as to how the Seace's plan would have backfired."

As Gerik was reading out loud, he though he heard a twig snap behind him. He quickly pushed himself up away from the tree. As he was getting up, he spun the ground around him, facing the direction of the noise. The ground around him started to rise as Gerik prepared to attack anything that was nearby.

    >Is that history thing okay? I just kinda made it up on the spot.<

    >Absolutely nothing is known about the worlds past, and the three races. Any kind of history is allowed. Let's make sure that they all make sense with each other though. Also they don't have to be about the war. They could be individual histories about tribes, legends, and other things.<

Ben sighed. "I got all that. Still, it's not as if my weapon of choice is any good against undead." He patted his blade. "In fact, this wouldn't even faze some of the stronger kinds. All i got is my fire." He looked up at the setting sun, then heard the twig snap.
    >I'm assuming we are all together<
"What the heck was that!" He spurred his horse around, and prepared to cast magic.

    >I'm fine with everybody together.<

Gerik silently unsheathed his katana. The blade had started to glow blue as soon as he touched it. "I don't know. I've just had this strange feeling not too long after leaving the academy. Like I'm being followed."

Using his dark abilities, Tim was hiding in the shadows nearby. "These children are too easy to trick. Although I do want to learn how they would fare against the animated corpses I made. But I suppose that necromancer in the group would do fine. Gah! I want them to learn the truth. But they'll never believe me. I'd just traumatize them." He thought to himself.

    >A nice idea just popped into my mind. We could make a thread, documenting all the history. That way, we can check before making something up and know that we won't conflict with previously posted things. It'd be a good way to organize the history of this RP.<

    >That is a good idea. It could also help us make a sequel if we ever wanted one. I'll post it later.<
"Odd that." Ben said quietly, also unsheathing his blade now. "Firisa" He whispered, lighting his sword on fire. "Any of us dumb enough to go check it out?" He asked with a smile.
