The Keyblade Academy Chapter 1 - Remnants (IC Thread)

"MWAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHA!" Maleficent went & turned herself into a green ball, avoiding the attack, but Hades was steamed up as he spinned around with flamethrowers aiming for the ground & made half of the arena go up in flames, attempting to hit Yuni & Motx in the process while protecting himself from Maleficent's attack. The crowd started to scream as they saw this. Maleficent changed back into her human form & started to smile. "Well well well. I guess victroy is in our favor."

 

"How sure about that are you?" Motx said, standing up with the help of his sword. "Curaja." Magical energy swirled around him and Yuni. "Do you really think that some fire can really win on its own? Nope." Motx thought about Maleficent's lightning spell. "Don't have time to learn how she does it. Guess I'll have to try my own variation." He held his hand out and focused on doing lightning. Electricity shot out of his hand, straight at Maleficent and Hades.

 

"Bitch!" Yuni hissed, clutching her right arm just below the shoulder. The healing spell had cured the worst, but she had been hit harder than Motx and was more..human. NO! She was more than those creatures, pigs in the mud!

So her draw arm was damaged.

Fine.

She drew her remaining two arrows from the quiver and held them like daggers in each hand. Only 2 minutes left... just two minutes... They could do this!

She stumbled to her feet. The flames hazed her vision, the air shimmered and swum before her eyes.

"Let's dance shall we?" She asked, spitting on the floor.

 

Will laughed. "Close draw, you almost slit my throat after twisting my arm backwards!" He said, striding towards the colliseum. "But I have a new trick up my sleeve for the standard arena battle..." He muttered under his breath. Was he really going to use darkness in the arena? Was he ready to use it at all? These thoughts raced through his head and he shivered slightly as his pace slowed.

 

Gondra stood at thew closed academy doors. He glanced around to make sure no one was looking and created a portal. He let the darkness envelop him as he passed through. A Human would risk losing their heart doing that but that was one of the few advantages of being a Nobody.

He appeared on top of the wall and looked for cover. He found a whitish section and crouched there, almost invisible with his cloak.

He had a good view of the outdoor training area, and a few students were already there. Suddenly a crazy idea came to him. It had failed in the past but.. He made mental note of it and decided to do some research later.

For The moment he decided to observe there techniques and battle skills. If he learned enough, they wouldn't stand a chance.

 

As Ren was teaching in the Synthesis class, he noticed the same thing that almost every year, there weren't much of the students at the class since the swordplay classes drew attention every year so much that students didn't even bother to come to class. "Hmph, they're just swinging those Keyblades and do not care about their studies. Oh well, the always-so-good detention will be at place if they don't mind showing up", he thought.

"As you can see, the base material of the Ether is..." Ren stopped talking as he noticed something weird. "Hmm, I know this feeling... Is Hades somewhere near?"

"Teacher?" one of the students commented. "...oh! Right. As you can see, all that you need to know about it is in the board. Write it down, I'll be in my office if someone needs me." After this, Ren soon left from the class.

 

Akiki saw that they was ignoring her & her cat was mad & jumped on Will's face, scratching him. "NOOO! Don't do that Susu!" Akiki was able to grab her cat off of Will & was upset. I'm very sorry about what Susu did to you. Oh my goodness!!!" Akiki saw that Susu ripped him up good & she was just standing there shocked while her puppy, Kenken, used his ears to cover his eyes in embarrassment..

"OOOOO! Getting reckless are we?" That's not very kindly of you." Maleficent pointed her staff at Motx to shoot another thunder bolt while Hades threw another fireball at Motx, mixing the two together. "This is magnificent. This shows how much we are your superiors. WE DON'T NEED THE HELP OF FILTHY NOBODIES!" "Yea. The two of you is hardly any much of a challenge. Seriously. How much dumb do you think we are? Even though you are evil, you is still a loser!" Hades started to shoot flame bullets everywhere, having the crowd cheering for him. "I think it is time to dance. Shall we dance Hades?"

 

Will stepped back and smiled. 'It's fine... me and Sarah here were just recounting old battles where she almost killed me." He said, grinning. He then remembered his face. "Oh... Cura!" He said, his keyblade shining with light. His face was instantly healed. "By the way, you are?" He asked her.

 

Gondra watched as the last late student filed into the building. He stood up and fell forward off the wall, as if to dive into the hard ground below. But below him another portal appeared and he vanished, closing it behind him.

He appeared out of a wall inside the academy. He glanced at the hallway, no one. He slung himself through the building by stabbing his blades silently into the roof and walls. He glanced around a corner and instantly pulled back.

Someone was walking down the hall. He decided to wait for them to pass and only hope that they wouldn't see his unmoving form above them.

 

Motx did a backflip in midair, slicing through the lightning fireball. The fireball split in two, hitting the seating behind him. "Losers.... Ha." Motx muttered. "I've been holding back, and they're calling me the loser. Fine. If that's the way they want to play it, so be it." Another portal opened up underneath Motx as he was landing. He appeared behind Maleficent and Hades. Before either of them could react, Motx swung his sword at them. He hit them both in the back with so much force that they were pushed to the very edge of the arena. Motx jumped through another portal, coming out right infront of Maleficent and Hades. While he was in midair, he kicked them both, pushing them both over the edge.

 

Hades was started to get annoyed by Motx as he was pushed around the arena. Maleficent was also steamed up at what Motx did. "YOU WRETCHED BEING!!!" Maleficent turned herself into a green ball & went behind Motx & turned back into her human form. "THIS TIME YOU SHALL GO TO HELL!!!!" Maleficent started to use her staff & send a big fiery wall that smacked Motx in the back. " YOU SQUIRT!!! I SHALL PUNISH YOU WITH EVERLASTING PAIN!!!" Hades started to turn bright red & shot a more, powerful version of his flamethrower, going straight for Yuni & heading straight for Motx. "Hades, it's no time for playing, it's time for us to end these poor souls!" The crowd kept on cheering for Hades & Maleficent, some raising a Maleficent poster board with the world in her hands...

 

How could nobody else hear it? The rage had built. It was time.

Yuni dropped into a position of worship on her knees, ignoring the flame jet roaring toward her.
"My friend. The Lord of The Underworld has insulted you with his infernal fire! He believes himself strong, powerful. He is nothing compared to you. I implore you, teach him!"

Hades had kept souls from their final rest. Nature didn't like that. His fire wasn't natural. It didn't like that either. Hades was a fool.

A torrent of wind and wave swept up, and stopped the flame headed toward Yuni like stamping on a match. Huge tendrils, as thick as oaks, rose up, and set out toward Hades. They swiped at Hades, then fell back to Yuni, joining and warping as they did so. Two gigantic columns were formed, which morphed into a 30 foot high Naga - half-man, half-snake. Like a cobra rearing to strike. The other became a great wolf, it's back reaching as high as Yuni's head, fangs longer than Yuni's forearm, made of air and water, but deadly as any other teeth. They stopped next to her.

"Game over."

They attacked.

 

Maleficent & Hades went next to each other & started to smile, both combining their magic to make a powerful firewall & engulf the wolf & Naga in eternal flames, turning them into ashes. "MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!! what a pity child. It's such a shame that you can't even stop us." "Yes. It is a pity really. Besides, my fire is natural. I'm a god of the Underworld, souls go straight here to live for all eternity for not doing what they're supposed to do in order to go to the mighty "Olympus". What else I can provide you with? OH YEA! THIS IS GAME OVER!!! Shall we tango love?" Maleficent started to smile as the two of them holded hands & was ready to attack. "METEORS OF HEAVEN!!! UNLEASH THY FURY!!!" As Maleficent was using the spell, Hades used his powers to make the portal light up in fire, shooting out gigantic, dark & fiery meteors on the whole arena & hitting Yuni. "MWAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!" "DING DING DING!!! TIME'S UP!!" The crowd wa wondering who won & Pain & Panic was up in the announcer's stands. "THE WINNER OF THIS FIGHT IS OUR MASTER & LADY, MALEFICENT & HADES!!!" The crowd started to cheer...

"Um... yes. I'm new here. A nice lady named Kairi brought me here. I'm not lost. Kairi gave me permission to wonder around this school. I'm Akiki & this is Susu & KenKen. I really don't want you to be late, so you can just go on ahead."

As Ren walked away and Merlin disappeared, sora started to walk the grounds, Rin had already left to go find his class and Will had left too. so sora just walked, he was going to the Colosseum to see how cloud was doing a little spar with him would be fun. as he was walking he saw a dark figure flying, as it landed he could see it was watching keyblade wielders practice, what ever it was he could tell it was familiar. Sora used an speed boost spell and ran over there so fast it was almost like he was invisible he got behind the dark figure with his keyblade ready to attack, and he could see the person had a black coat on, then put his hands on the person's shoulder.

 

The meteors stopped right infront of Yuni. Two of them flew off, hitting Pain and Panic. Motx floated up to Yuni. HIs body was glowing. "You're right. It is game over. Hades, Maleficent. I thank you for your powers. But since you two don't know when to quit, I suppose I'll just have to end it here and now." The meteors swirled around Motx and Yuni before flying off towards Hades and Maleficent.

The crowd grew silent.

The meteors hit their targets, pushing Hades and Maleficent to the wall. Motx walked to them. He stabbed his sword into Maleficent, brushing Hades aside like he was nothing at all.

The Naga and Wolf were formed again. They stood behind Motx. The Naga picked up Hades and tore him in half. His body dissapeared in a poof of somke.

Motx looked directly into Maleficent's eyes. "Such a fool. You played into my trap just as I expected. You and Hades foolishly forked over your powers to me. Had you agreed to ally yourself with us, then it wouldn't have been brought to this." Motx looked over his shoulder, seeing Hades' body begin to reform. Motx pulled his sword out of Maleficent. "Do not worry. I will not kill you." Motx walked over to Yuni. He slung her arm over his shoulder, giving her support to get up. His sword formed another portal. Motx and Yuni walked through it, leaving the arena.

 

Gondra jumped and spun around. He almost pulled a blade out but stopped himself. He decided to act like a scared kid and pretended to stumble back and fall over. "Plea- please don't hurt me!", he gasped. He had practiced a long time and he could react as if he had feelings pretty well. The terror in his eyes was very convincing, but would it fool the man?

 

In all the exploration Dante ended up in the highest point of the academy looking over all of the grounds. Luckily his speed had made him undetectable, for the moment. The atmosphere was getting a tense and it was easily noticed by Dante. The source of this tension was protruding from a section of the academy, more noticeably was on top of one of the walls surrounding a court yard. Dante spotted a white remnant cloak similar to his own.

Dante quickly vanished and reappeared on top of another tower nearby, chuckling in amusement at the site of Gondra's act. "lets see how far he can take it" though Dante.

 

"T..thanks." Yuni said, surprised at herself. Her arm still hurt badly.

"I guess they aren't going for the alliance huh?" She gave Motx a little smile. What have I become? A child? Dependant on others helping me.

She suddenly pulled herself away, more forcefully than she'd meant to, and fell over.

She gave a gasp of pain, then a groan.
