Starlight part 1:
Beyond Space.​

It is the year 2012 end of the mayan calander. The night shines with beautiful stars as humanity sleeps the night away. America is awakened by a strong exposion coloring the night sky orange. fear and panic settle in across the nation as missles return fire launching throughout the sky. War had broken out, with nuclear weapons.

It turned out that russia's false promses hid a nuclear development plan with europe. Europe planned to port goods into north korea into wich america had ignored their continued use of nuclear weapons. north korea fired upon america, europe fired upon asia for refusing to agree in wiping america off the map. but america returned fire. learning of russia they targeted them as well. a world crisis had come upon Earth and humanity's population dropped by 76%. the few who survived lived on small area's unaffected by the massive radiation sweeping over earth. the once blue atmosphere had turned a hostile red-orange. buildings were destroyed technology ruined and the life of humans reached it's end. The U.N reached a cease fire in only five days trying to save the human race as quickly as possible. After two weeks Humanity's civilization dropped two percent. and there were no technological advances. humanity was screwed, the planet was too hotile to live on and soo they turned skyward to space. reconstructing the space station they moved it to the ever fleeting moon and parked it there rescuing all they could and transporting those willing to go, for a price. less than half the remaining percentage made it off the planet.

Nearly two days after this movement a strange meteor crashed into earth. it was quite different from normal meteors. this one gave off a black trail and was not composed of dust and ice. it seemed to distort space as it passed through on a course directly for earth.
It also did not burn up in the atmosphere. Humanity examined this meteor and discovered a strange material in it's interior. They tested it learning of it's inner most secrets. It could boost space engines capacity by ten fold and be used to distort space creating wormwholes. with this they could explore space beyond their galaxy hope had arrived. but this was just the beginning.

It is the year 2027, fifteen years after humanity nearly decimated itself and the U.N has changed their name to the United Federation. exploration efforts have reached an all out maximum and resources have come in, humanity has begun increasing again, but still no home has been found. The S.E.B or Space Exploration Brach has been appointed the mission of finding inhabitable planets and eliminating threats to humanity's survival.
and new recruits have all lined up at the academy ready to save humanity.

This is a semi-complex rp so there are a few rules:

*Minimum of three sentences. if these requirements are not met i will pm or visitor message you to change it. simply put... do not spam or you can stop posting on this thread.

*NO GOD MODDING. you are not uber-powerful. You can't kill everything.

*NO POWERPLAYING without exceptions.(I.e somebody stops posting and we need to kill them off after....i don't know...how bout a week.)

* do not feel boxed in on one species or one side of things. A million different things could happen in space, be it good, bad or just something logical.

*Only one or two profiles, i don't want to be keeping track of 18 different characters.

Name: Kyu Nuhrae

Age:17

Species:Human

Appearance:Kyu has black hair and pale blue eyes. he wears a black sleeveless hoodie and white shorts.

Personality: Kyu has a very, excitable personality he is quite exhilarated when it comes to outer space and the thought of new life. Kyu's excitement often sends him into battle and other situations headlong without thinking and it sometimes bites him in the ass, but nevertheless his get up and go attitude leads him into unexpected situations.

History:Kyu is a genetic experiment. He is the perfect human, his biological structure is perfect. he resists disease and when emotions are heightened or his survival comes into danger his genetic alteration comes into effect granting him extra strength,speed and abilities. owever kyu is unaware of the fact. Born and raised the child of a famous scientist Kyu was constantly awed by the power of science and space. When his father died Kyu felt the need to carry on and do his part. So he signed up for the S.E.B academy three months ago. He is now laying down gazing at the stars ignoring the initiation ceremony.
