    Grond looked at Flint "Help me! That's an order!" Grond yelled at Flint. He was locked in combat with the elder. "Where did you learn this, old man?" Grond asked agressivly.

    The elder didn't respond.

    Grond kicked him and grabbed him by the neck "Tell me now, or i'll break you like a toothpick." Grond said tightening his grip around the elder's neck

    "Hold on my lord." Flint said, stepping forward. Flint looked into the old man's eyes. He closed off everything else and slowly focused his power into one thought. Old man... Where did you learn your magic? Flint asked repeatedly, sending it into the man's mind. He would continue it until either the old man talked, or he cracked from the pressure of having his mind penetrated.

    "Can you make anything out?" Grond asked Flint.

    Martin saw Grond taking the villiage elder by the neck. He charged back into the inferno that was the villiage. "I've got to save him.." Martin said.

    Flint did not answer at first. The old man proved stronger than he thought. But, eventually, he found the answer he wanted. Tell the Black King. he thought. The old man whispered something, trying to shake Flint's grip. TELL HIM! Flint thought with such force that the old man turned white. Finally, he spoke.

    Draco Woke Again, And This Time Jumped As His Eyes Opened. He Saw That He was Surrounded By Black Walls. He knew he was still in the village, But Yet He Wasn't. Draco Heard A Voice In His Head. "Aw Come On Draco, I Know You Have More Than This. Don't You Remember? The Walls Around Him Turned White And The Draco Shut And Opened His Eyes. He Saw The Village And The Battle Before Him. He Was Sitting On A Burnt Stair Case. Draco Stood Up And Walked Up The Stairs. Surprisingly The Top Floor Of This House Was Intact. Draco Walked Over To The Window, And Looked Out. He Saw The Gargoyles And The Humans Still Fighting. Draco Turned Around And Stopped. Draco Realized That This Was His Room. He Thought About What Happened To His Family, And Then Dismissed The Thought As Soon As It Arrived. He Had To Think About The Future Not The Past. "Time To Go, And Put This PLace As Far Behind Me As I Can." Draco Said To Himself As He Slowly Stepped Down The Stairs...
    He Reached The Bottom Of The Stairs And Now Saw His Chance To Escape. Draco Drew His Blade And Ran Out Of The Burnt Building And Into The Chaos....

    "The...The...The mage's tower, in this county....To...The...North...Please...Let me go...And please....LEt my villiage go too.." The elder said.

    Grond let him down. "Thank you, old man." Grond said. The elder tried to walk away, Grond smiled. He put his hand on the elder's sholder "Never trust the enemy." Grond said. He thrusted his sword into the elder's chest. He fell to the ground. "Come on, let's move." Grond said to Flint.

    Martin saw the elder fall down before his eyes. And saw the gargoyals starting to fly up. Leaving the Villiage in Ashes.

    The two clashed their weapons again and started struggling with thier weapons. Zawn looked at Grough and said "I'm sorry for what happened." "But I can't change the past." Grough looked at him and said "I'll kill you!" "He was my son and you killed him." "You will DIE Zawn." He then started bringing his axe down towards Zawn. "I guess this is it."

    Grond looked down and saw Grough about to kill Zawn. "GROUGH! LET'S GO! WE NEED TO HURRY!" Grond yelled down at Grough from the sky.

    Martin saw Grough about to kill Zawn. He ran towards Grough and kicked him away. "Back off, you monster!" Martin said with his sword in his hand. "Zawn, get the remainers of our soldiers and get to Lord Hammerstone's keep, it should be only a few hundred yards east of here! I'll catch up in a minute!" Martin said.

    Zawn looked at him and said "Agreed." He then started heading towards the other soldiers and said "We're headind towards Hammerstrong's keep." "Now move move move!" Them men followed his orders and they left towards the keep.

    Grough got up and looked at Martin. "How dare you!" He then grabbed his axe and charged towards Martin with bllinding fury. "You foolish boy!

    Flint instantly stepped inbetween Grough and Martin. "Hold off Grough! This is King Griel's son! He cannot be harmed!" Flint said, blocking Grough's attack. Despite Flint's size, he was able to hold off Grough. "If you harm him, then there will be nothing to stop the Amarian King from sending his entire army upon us! And not even the Black Claw can hold off such an attack!"

    Grond looked at Grough "Easy, Grough, you'll get your time to kill Zawn soon enough, right now we need to get to that mage's tower to the north." Grond said

    Martin ran back to Zawn and the others. Thry headed towards Hammerstone's keep." Martin said. They all started towards the keep.

    Zawn looked back and said "What?" "We have to get here before them." "Men, double your effort." They then started running off to the tower with doubled speed. "I will not let them win."

    Grough looked at Grond and said "Yes sir." He then looke at the sky and said "I will destroy you Zawn." "I am the one who will erase your miserable existence." He the put his axe on his back and started heading towards the tower of the mage.

    Flint jumped into the air and soared above them, keeping his eyes on the tower. Many thoughts were going through his head. But they did not distract Flint. Flint turned his head and saw the Amarian's doubling their speed. They know. Flint thought. Maybe it would have been better to let Grough kill Martin after all. But Flint felt that it would be worth it in the end. "Master, would you like me to go on ahead and scout out the area?"

    They all got to Hammerstone keep, and walked in of course the prince of Amaria and his soldiers would be greeted with open arms by his father's cousin. "Where are they?" Martin asked. A soldier walked up. "Your highness, the gargoyals are flying to the north.." he said. "Really? Well we should stay here and ask my father's cousin if we can get help." Martin replied. He took off his chestplate with a blue silk cloth drapped over it baring the Amarian coat of arms on it, a Large Falcon in the middle, a Snake in the upper right corner, a Lion in the Upper Left corner and on the bottom there was a Bull. Representing the Four Amarian gods. Malenoth, the god of time, who took the form of a large Falcon, Shrimoad, The god of Strength, representing the form of a Lion. Griden the god of earth, who took the form of a snake. Berlok the god of wind, who took the form of a bull. They walked into Hammerstone's throne room.


    Grond looked at Flint "No, i need you for the raid against the tower." He said

    Zanw took off his crimson chestplate that had the the Amarian coat of arms on the front and his own on the back. His coat had a red dragon with a whie and black brids fying on each side of the dragon. The dragon represents his raging spirit and the birds represent the two halves of hsi soul. "Lets go."

    Martin and Zawn walked into the throne room "Lord Hammerstone, we've come bareing bad news. The villiage you own, it has been burnt to the ground by the black claw. I'm sorry, but we need help intercepting them." Martin said.


    Lord Hammerstone looked up at Martin "That's horrible, those poor innocent souls, lost.." Hammerstone said. He looked at Martin. "Martin, may i speak to you privatly?" Hammerstone asked.

    "Yes. You may." Martin replied. a guard led Zawn and the others out of the room.

    Hammerstone looked at Martin "They're going to attack the mage's tower." Hammerstone said.

    Martin said "Well then we must get there quickly! Wait...How'd you know where they were going?" Martin said.

    Hammerstone looked at him and grinned "My dear boy, we have scouts that can overhear them." he said

    Martin looked at him "The gargoyals were in a raging inferno." Martin said. "It doesn't matter, we have to move." He said, he tried to go outside but Hammerstone's guards blocked him from going out.

    "I'm sorry, but you can't do that, you've already found too much out about the high lord's plans." Hammerstone said getting up out of his throne.

    "So you were with them all the time? You set this attack up didn't you? You brought out all the men capable of defending the town so that the gargoyals could destroy it." Martin said. "You won't get away with this..My father shall hear of your treason!" Martin said

    "Not quite." Hammerstone said, he pulled out his sword. "I guess i'll just have to kill you here and now." He said. He jumped down and started attacking Martin.


    The guards led Zawn and some of the soldiers out into the castle garden and locked the doors. They pulled out their weapons.

    Zawn brought out his sword and said to his men "Ready yourselves." They brought out thier swords and charged at the guards. THey clashed their blades with eachother and started fighting. Zawn took on the leader of the guard. THey kept clashing blades at every move. With equal speed and strength and at every angle. Zawn looked at him and said "You're good but I have a couple of people to protect." He thought of the boy from his old village and Prince Martin. He then cut the man's sword in half and said "Now, open that gate."

    Blaine looked at his surroundings
    "The Sky"Blain said as he began to fly to the building next to him
    Blaine's eye's turned forest green as he blended in with the buildings structure

    The guard followed Zawn's demand and opened the gate. Zanw looked at the guard and said "Thank you." "Men, we're going in." The men defeated every guard and followed Zawn as he went inside the gate. "Don't worry Prince Martin, we're coming." THey kept marching through the halls of the keep to get to the young prince.

    Draco Ran Through The Middle Of The Fight And Out The Village Entrance. He Ran The Path To the Elders House. When He Got There He Stopped. He Quickly Looked Away As He Saw The Elder Dead On The Ground. "Why...? WHY!?!?!?!?!?! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Draco Said Into The Air, "He didn't Do Anything....Why..?" Draco Griped His Blade Tighter As Tears Strolled Down His Face. He Knew That The Gargoyles Did This, And What He Didn't Know Is Where They Went. Draco Collected Himself After A Few Minutes And Dug A Grave For The Elder. After He Was Done Digging He Closed His Eyes While Putting The Elder In The Hole. Draco Then Threw The Dirt Back On The Elder. After That He Collected A Bunch Of Rocks And Made A Make-shift Tombstone. Draco Picked His Sword From The Ground And Sheathed It. He Went Inside The Elders House, And Grabbed A Bag And Some Of His Leftover Food. Draco Then Put All the Stuff In The Bag. As He Was Doing This He Glanced Over And Saw The Elders Magic Book. Draco Then Remembered Something....

    ~FLASHBACK~

    "Hey Elder, WhenAm I Going To Get A Book Like Yours?" The Elder Replied, "When Either I Die Or You Become Strong Enough.

    "But I'm Strong Now!"
    "No You Are Not. The Weakest Of Gargoyles Could Kill You. You'll Need More Training If You Wish To Wield My Book.
    "Awww....Really? Too Bad....I Really Like It Though." Draco Smiles...

    ~END FLASHBACK~

    Draco Stood Up And Walked Over To The Book Stand. He Knew He Should Take the Book. Draco Walked Back Over To His Bag And Finished Packing It And Then Put It Over His Back. He Looked At The Book Again And Then Grabbed It As He Left. Draco Was A Few Feet Away From The House When He Turned Around And Shot A Fireball At It. He Watched As It Burned To The Ground. Just Staring At The Flames As They Consumed The House. He Thought That He Was Beginning Anew. Draco Turned Around And Walked on The Path To The Nearest City....
