Riki was standing on a plateau high above the clouds. He could look straight up to see stars or look down to see thunderclouds around the one pillar of stone that pierced the heavens. As he looked he could hear a voice whisper. He couldn't tell what it was saying so he asked the voice to speak up. Again it spoke, louder but it still wasn't clear enough to be understood. "Please, one more time. I still can't understand you." He waited for a moment. There was silence. Suddenly a man bound in chains jumped in front of him. "LET ME OUT!"

Riki awoke with a start. He had a cold sweat running down his face. He wiped it away and got dressed. Again with that dream.

A lone figure, cloaked in redemption as well as vengeance, strode upon the gates of the great city.
The darkness around him gave a silent whisper to him...he could sense something...something calling to him.
    "...no...now.....now i.....now is th......the......ti....ti.....tim....e......f...fo...for....nig....nigh.....t to.....r...ru...ru-"-Voice

    The Voice stopped.
A guard strode forward, he hadn't caught sight of the being in front of the gates yet.

The dark figure jumped up and over the gate, landing behind the guard...suttle...silent...a shadow in the night.
His tail knocked over a bucket as he landed, the guard turned around, but no one was there.

The guard turned towards the city and looked around. He didn't see anything at first, but then he caught sight of something walking through the shadows of the night.
    A wolf.
The guard thought he was dreaming at first, when he rubbed his eyes and looked back, it was gone.

"Ha, i'm seeing things. Everyone knows wolves are extinct..."-Guard

The wolf walked silently trough the streets towardthe great tower above. He could see the great creation of man, the castle.
He saw some boxes that lead up to a house roof.
He leaped from one to the other, until he was on an old house roof. He staired at the sky, looking for the great light that had dissappeared.
And then...in the suttle night, a lone howl sounded.
The guard spat out the water he was drinking and stood up.
    The city lights were lit.
People began to rush out of their houses.

    A wolf? No....just a dog...
    Or was it?

And as the people of the city were curiously alarmed by the sounding of a creature that was as invisible as the wind, the wolf again became the dark figure.
And just as suttle and silent as he came, he dissappeared before the peoples eyes.

He was called to them, to protect them.
His was a wolf without a name, but the Voice called him "Lykan".

Matt was standing in a large, open room. There was a circular window at the end of the room, close to the top of the room. The moonlight shone through the window, right on to Matt. The moonlight was the only source of light in the entire room. Matt was standing at an altar, several objects placed on it. Matt was preforming a ceremony. "And we do this in honor of Lunos. For without him, we would be in eternal day. And that is why we also preform ceremonies for Solaris too. For without her, we would be in eternal night." Being the High Priest, Matt preformed this ceremony alot. He also preformed ceremonies for Solaris alot too.

Lykan snuck around the castle, looking for a secret door to enter in through.
He finally found an open window in the kitchen. Someone didn't lock up right. Lucky for him...

He tip toed his way through the kitchen, as his tail wagged back and forth. He never had good luck with his tail, and it really did show. For three seconds after entering the kitchen, his tail knocked over a spoon that hit a kettle that knocked over rows of dishes.

Lykan looked over at the tumbling noise, then down to his tail.
    He sighed.
"You can never be quiet. Always a grand entrance."-Lykan
Lykan could hear the guards on their way.
"Someday your gonna get me killed."-Lykan
Lykan jumped up onto a supporting beam up in the ceiling of the large kitchen. He transformed into a dog, and layed down..not making a sound.
The guards barged in, but found no one.
    "A cat maybe??"-guard #1
    "Or a rat..."-guard #2
They all single filed out of the kitchen, one grabbed a chicken leg on the way out.
Lykan rested his head on his forearms and curled up onto the ceiling beam. He soon fell asleep...

"Hmm? Enter." Riki looked to see Xan enter. "Oh, Xan. What do ya need?" Riki still had the dream on his mind. I keep having it. Each time he's louder and the chains seem to be getting smaller. I'll have to worry about its significance later. The plan is about to start.

Sat in a comfortable bliss within the hug of a large armchair, "Temperance" Virgil Sage looked over a stack of papers, entrusted to him by a friend from his town. The room in which the chair, and by effect, Virgil resided, was of a circular shape, adorned by a by a purple rug, upon which the golden yellow design of the crescent moon lay, as a part of the rug itself. At his front side was a fireplace, burning with a glorious flame unlike any other that had been seen in such a space, giving off heat at its maker's will. Sitting behind him was a rounded bookshelf, which spanned roughly 3/8 of the rooms circumference. The books were, as described by many visitor's to this room, "a bit too organized," despite being set up in the manner akin to any other library. To his right, was an oak door, adorning the same golden yellow crescent shaped design, and made from oak. To his left, was window, opening out to a serene hillside country land, with a tiny village that could be made out on the distant horizon.

Virgil's business with the stack of papers was, at the same time, simple, and complex. The simplicity in was that the entire stack of papers was to do with the same business. Yet the complexity in lay within the topic of concern. It was, at its core, a report on the very foundation of beliefs, and what was real, and what was legend. A religious topic that a friend had brought to his attention, and in fact chronicled through a town discussion. An assertion was detailed within the report, one that claimed that certain god's of old in fact existed in the flesh, and that they were, in fact depending on humanity for their very existence. Yet however intriguing the heretic's arguments had been, they were completely fallible to Virgil's own prowess.

What's more, the heretic's words were dangerous to Sage's own hold in society. Placing the stack of papers back upon the end table next to the chair. Walking swiftly to the doorway, he exited the library into a torch lit hallway, built from stone, and in some spots, sporting a marble statue protruding from the walls. With a series of turns, and down several flights of stairs, he came upon a room at the base of the mansion. As the halls outside, this room was light by torches mounted upon the walls, and no windows were to be seen. At the center of the room was a table, maintaining the crescent shape theme seen around the mansion. On the outer curve of the table's form were roughly ten chairs, each spaced at even distances from one another. In front of this table was chair, sitting elevated higher than all of the rest. It was in this chair that Virgil took his seat. Pondering only for a few seconds, he envisioned those who he needed to contact. Those who dubbed themselves as the protectors.

You know who you all are. It is time for us to gather. You know where.

Xan entered the room "Sir i need to talk to you, i-" Xan didn't finish. He saw a worried look on Riki's face "Sir...Are you okay? You look pale." Xan said in a worried tone. Xan saw a bit of sweat on Riki's head, Riki almost looked scared in Xan's eyes.

Riki gave Xan a reassuring smile. "Yeah, I'll be alright. Just a nightmare. Don't worry about it." Riki put the dream out of his mind and wiped the sweat off his head. He stood up and walked over to Xan. "So what was it you wanted to talk to me about?"

"The Protectors, their closing in on one of our counties again, but this time, i'm not sure if we can hold out against the attack, we'll need some way to defend it or else they'll be closer and closer to us." Xan said

"Well technically we are heratics because we are aiming to disobey the final command of the goddess Solaris. It's only right they would want us dead, thats the punishment for extreme heratics such as ourselves. So what we will do is fight back. The plans for the unsealing must go unhindered." Riki walked out of his room, leaving Xan to follow his commands.

Xan quikcly tried to catch up to Riki "Well what you don't understand sir, is that they trying to get you to come over there so they can kill you, from what i've heard, they have hundreds of men camped outside the county, it being a small one and without much defence they knew you'd probably come with renforcments, giving them a chance to eleminate you, i was thinking we could surpirse attack them?" Xan said

"Me? You sure about that? Well then that changes things. I'll go tonight, and get them all in thier sleep. And don't worry, I can handle myself against all but one of them. And I doubt he'll leave thier castle until either its attacked or til the ritual. I want you to prepare for the plan. Gather up a few warriors that are stealthy and trustworthy. We need a bit more info on the priestess before we can finalize the plan."

Hundreds of candles flickered across the edges of the walls in the chapel those candles provided the only light and the feeble firelight gave Henna's white hair a red appearence as she walked past them up to the front of the chapel. Her bare feet made very little sound against the cold, wooden floor. It was very late, the moon had almost been to the center of the sky before she had gone inside and that was nearly an hour ago, before she had began the ritual she performed every night. She had finished the ritual a long time before now but she didn't want to go back just yet. There were too many grouchy and bossy ladies back in the living area. For now, she just wanted piece to think. She walked back to the back of the chapel and sat down on the ground, resting her staff across her knees and her back against the stained glass behind her. The silvery moonlight comming through the stained glass wondows cast multi colored reflections across her face and clothes. She closed her eyes, enjoying the silence for a while. She knew she would have to go back soon. The elders would start worrying especially with the liberators unknown plans.

Lykan's dream went blurry in his sleep. He could see a girl in a chapel, stairing into the moonlight.
He knew her, from somewhere...her face gave him a nastalgic feeling.
He awaoke, his head popped up from lieing on his forearms.
It was a nice nap, but he sensed something in the castle that he needed to find. Something that had called him there in the first place. Something...

He leaped down from the ceiling beam in the kitchen, and as he did, he transformed back into a human appearance. He wore a cloak of darkness, keeping his face and tail (especially) hidden from others sight.

He roamed the castle walls, following his heart and the vision. No guards could be seen. No one was in his way. Maybe, for the first time in his life, he was just "lucky".

He neared the middle section of the castle. He could sense something, his eyes flashing from the original blue to a golden fury. Something was there, just ahead of him. It was in the next room...it was her...the girl.
He nudged the door open with his snout as he transformed into a wolf again.

He noticed she looked at him as he entered.
He looked at her with deep blue eyes.
    "He...hello. You...you are....i saw you in my dreams. Who...who are you?"-Lykan

Xan went and found Riki again "Sir, i've rounded up some warriors, what now?" he asked

The air was cold, the early morning sky was tinted a blood red color, Aren looked around the campsite. "If this doesn't work it'll be another week of my life wasted.." he said to himself.
