Can't A Guy Get A Chance Around Here?

OK, I know I haven't exactly been here for the longest time, but it would appear, based on certain, subtle ways in which I have been treated, that people here are reluctant to give the knew guy a piece of the pie, and a chance to prove himself. Twice I've been rejected from an RP, on the basis of the RP having, "enough" characters (one of which I've tracked the history of, to find that the same people had been playing through each segment of it with the same characters, a rather boring thought in my humble opinion). Another time, my character was out right ignored.

Now, rather than continue to whine about this, I've opted to take the situation by the horns, and request that someone here give me my chance to show my own roleplaying skills, and hopefully, earn what little respect anyone can gain via a forum. How will I do this? Simple: Not long ago, the concept of roleplay battles was given a thread on this forum. At this point, I challenge one "vet" of this site to a one on one battle. If one of you accepts, then I will post a character profile, and we may begin.

 

I've tried making my own. I've given up on my first one, and await my second one to pick up steam. People still seem reluctant to buy into anything I've got going.
