I find that it's really stupid you can't delete your own posts in RP section, like when someone posts at the sametime, or you triple post on accident. it's really annoying

  2. GrandShadow

    GrandShadow I accept your challange.

i hate that to. i wouldn't have to ask a mod and stuff. you can delete any VMs you make so why not regular posts?

yeah, what really is the point of not letting us delete our posts?

Hope before has brought this up, but at the time we were dealing with clan stuff. I'm sure staff can look into this, I know as a vet I can delete my own posts by clicking edit, delete post. I don't know if all of you have it, but I will definately bring this up to Rai and Hope, it is kind of stupid.

Alright I talked to Hope last night and currently she's on vacation and she said she's going to when she gets home look into seeing about giving you guys power to delete your own posts.

:( I hate to say this, but if you want to delete your posts, you must be a Vet. I'm trying to hurry & be one myself so that when Star says that I messed up on something in the rp, I can either change it or delete my own post instead of counting on a mod or higher for their help. :( Seeing that you have 656 posts, you have a long way to go. A LOOOOOOONG WAY! In other words, 8 months of posting. :(

did you even read the rest of the thread? we know we have to be Vets, but Hope says that when she can, she's going to look into it. everyone agrees it's stupid that only high-ranking members can delete their posts(no offense to any high-ranking members)

-_- Yes. I did read. Just that I added the part about how long it'll take for him to even get to Vet. Anyways, Raiden had made up this system & Raiden might not want the system changed & think that you must ask the mods to delete the posts.

Brandon has a point im afraid. Of course deleting your own post could be a good thing but it has to many backsides to it. Personally we could try it if things got out of order it would get wiped clean. Also as far as i would go would be to give the VET members power to close there own threads.

see, that's fine. it's just that it's not fair that the non-vet members can't delete their own posts. we usually get chewed out for double or triple posts that sometimes aren't even our fault. it would be alot easier so that way there are not as many double posts and we can delete our posts in the RP section if it doesn't match up with the RP, instead of going to a mod, asking for them to do it, and all that

I know what you mean, but, to tell you the truth, I think there will be a member who will go crazy on that kind of power. Well, I like it this way. I would rather wait until I become a VET member.

go crazy with deleting his own thread? it's not like they would have the power to delete all threads

Not threads. Posts. It's a possibilty that something can happen. Not only that, only admins have the power to delete threads :)( & Sadly, delete members like they didn't exist.) That's why there is a limit on the members & that the colors of our names represent what power(s) we have. You have 520 more posts Legend to hit the next rank. :( It'll be a long one too.

posts, I meant to say posts. no one is going to go crazy deleting their own posts. but hey, i'm at the bottom of the ladder. no one is going to listen, so I'm just spewing nonsense

No SB, Hope and I did talk, and rai hope is going to talk to you. We have it all planned it out. Oh and to be technical I could delete threads as a regular simple global mod in RP only then, but I could.

It works like this, all of us on staff just moderate what is deleted and stuff. Plus I highly doubt somone is going to delete their post unless they have to. Why, because they'll want to become a vet and elite and what not, meaning it's highly doubtful a member is going to delete a post if they have to. Plus they can only delete THEIR post, no one elses. Hope and I got this figured out so don't worry. SB just calm down we have this figured out already, believe me, Hope and I do got this down on how this can be done.

Actually it is fair. Hence why its given only to that rank who reach it. Why would staff give regular members powers you have to think about it from a different standpoint. simply be careful how you post.
