Summit+North Korea= Terrorist Attack?

well, of course defending human rights is right. but it's not our job. do you remember the Monroe Doctrine? it says that if we in the Western Hemisphere stay out of the Eastern Hemisphere's business, then they should do the same. it's not up to us to have to keep up with another countries problems. not that it's wrong, just that we can barely keep up with our own countries problems

 

Wow....stupidist post in history no doubt. So tell me: after you've nuked the countries, how would you plan on protecting us from the anger of the whole world? I really doubt anyone would overlook your insane actions. I mean, if another country tried to do something to America again after that, you'd want to bomb them as well probably to "show them that doesn't work..." right? All this would result in another World War: America vs the World. This is why nobody would bomb a country as powerful as the U.S or numerous countries at once.

I don't think that N. Korea would dare to bomb the Summit location by themselves. If they did, they'll be majorly screwed. The only way I can see them attacking the Summit would be if they already have secret alliances with other countries. So for now, I don't see that happening.

You do realise that entire idea will just leave millions, maybe billions of people homeless, the majority being either American or Chinese.

By ignoring the economic crisis and going to war all money will be spent on weapons, as you have seen the N.Koreans have missiles which could wipe out half of America if needed leaving Millions homeless.

If America were to go to war with N.Korea I can garuntee that China will step in and Possibly Russia and it is doubtfull many UN nations will step in as they will see how stupid the idea is and wouldn't want to risk they're country being blown off the map.

Currently Obama is doing a perfectly good job, avoiding conflicts whilst the economy is in the shitter and trying to unite nations rather than threaten them is a closer step to world peace or to however close we can reach.

If the US troops leave S.Korea it is less likely for a war to breakout than there is if more enter...

No. But people think America is evil because we get involved in world affairs and get in fights (and win fights) against other countries. But if people would stop to look, they'd see that America doesn't take over the country. We attempt to make the country a better place. America gives back the countries it beats.

From what you say, going into Total War can actually help the economy. WWII got us out of the Great Depression. And I don't think N.Korea's missiles can reach Mainland America yet.

No. He's not doing a perfectly good job. The way he's avoiding conflict makes his look weak. Very weak. The countires that hate us are always gonna hate us as long as their government stays in power. So it is impossible to bring us close to world peace.

Or N.Korea will see that as a sign to invade. I don't think it's a good idea to take out American troops from S.Korea. I have a friend who is from S.Korea. And she is very grateful for what America has done. I think S.Korea would also think we're abandoning them if troops are taken away.

Like I said, North Korea, isn't a country of patience. If they wanted to take over the world, they would have done so by now. What I believe is that they are waiting for other countries to join their cause. When they do find a power house country, they would try to take over the world, or dominate other countries.

 

I never said you said that America should start a nuclear war. What you said is that you would (if you were president) is that over the entire N.Korea debate is that you would free the civilians of N.Korea, I agree with you that something needs to be done there but just think about it.

As a civilian of America would you rather your leader fix your country (or attempt to) or to go off and attempt to fix another country. If I were an American citizen I would deffinatly rather then attention be on my country.

As you said you would attempt to free the civilians of N.Korea via a pre-emptive strike what do you think the military of N.Korea would do? They would have the upper hand, would America nuke N.Korea with American troops in, doubtfull. Would N.Korea nuke America as a reaction? Why the fuck not...

Not to go too far off topic, but that stereotype is completely wrong. Not all republicans are the same. Which is why republican and democrat aren't really good classifications now. Conservative and Liberal are more correct. Mainly because there are Conservative republicans, Liberal republicans, Conservative democrats (they aren't many though), and Liberal democrats.

true, but there are a few way or many ways for an advantage for america,
1. shoot all nuclear weapons that north korea have
2. make an agreement, treay is one way but have to be careful since people can switch the rules
