Powers?

Nicole nodded standing up the wall still breathing hard. She looked a little more normal but she was still real pale.

"I know we could, but we're not ready yet. I know we if we try hard enough can." Nicole said.

"Leah what will happen to us after this, I mean we're human and so are you, you've always had powers we haven't always, but now we do, does that mean we have to leave our families to live in your world? Plus goverment is obviously after us as well. Will we ever get to come back and live here at home? So what will happen to us Leah?" Nicole asked her.

 

Novek had woken up and stayed quiet for the past few minutes. He was listening to the conversation, thinking about what to do and what was happening. Leah said that we control our power by our hearts, but I can't. Sleif said the destruction child is the strongest and is destined to betray the others. I already was forced to once. If using my powers means having to face my friends in battle then no. I won't use my powers. Ever. They'll... they'll have to save the world without me, without the destruction child.

 

"Nice to meet you Aiden." Tom said. He forced himself to say it in a friendly voice. "Come to think of it, I should probably go get that other artifact I know of. The sooner, the more time we'll have to find that last one." Tom focused on Trafalgar (sp?) Square and was about to teleport there.

 

Nicole smiled and nodded. Then jumped when she said her hand was still water. She shook her hand and it went normal. She then stopped and looked over at Novek.

'Don't listen to him Novek. You're the balance between good and evil. Your powers were meant for evil however a person with a good heart like you makes you good. Remeber I was caged up by him before. So don't worry, ok?' Nicole said telepathicly to Novek.

"Hi Aiden, it's nice to meet you." Nicole told him. "Alright guys Tom's right, we need to find that artifact along with getting rest. Lets find that artifact, go to the next location, then get a hotel or something." Nicole said to them.

 

Nicole nodded. It wasn't the answer she wanted, but she took it for the moment. She looked at Leah.

"So just Alex and my artifact is next." Nicole said. She looked around. She looked over at Tom.

"Lead the way." She said to him. "Oh and thanks Leah." She thanked her about the recovery. She stood up feeling much better. She looked over at Novek. She looked a little worried about what he was thinking.

 

"Hello Aiden, my name is Alexis. It's nice to meet you," said Alexis.
Then she smiled at Aiden. Alexis walked towards Nicole and said, "Hey Nicole, thanks again for helping Alex and me on that day," said Alexis while she smiled at Nicole as she spoke.
Soon, she walked up to Alex.
"Alex, it's okay. I forgive you. All that matters is that you are alright now," Alexis said to Alex as she smiled at him.
Then she looked over to Leah and Tom.

 

"Hey no prob. You better go get your artifact." Nicole said. she looked over at Alex. Then at Novek, then at Aiden.

"SO how long have you and Leah been friends?" Nicole asked Aiden to start a conversation.

 

As Alex and Nicole told her to recieve her artifact, she went to go and get it.
"THank you Alex, thank you for understanding," said Alexis.
Then she started to walk at the end of the hallway.
Soon, she saw her artifact and as she got the artifact, she saw a strange glowing light towards her.
"What is that light?" wondered Alexis.

 

Novek was pondering what Nicole had said. Don't worry? How can I not? Everything he's said so far has come true. And that hammer... Novek got up and knelt next to where the hammer laid. He reached to pick it up but as soon as he touched it he felt a strange power and stopped. As I thought, still there. Whatever Sleif did to it is still there. If I hold the hammer then I'll be under his control again. But I need the hammer to strengthen and help control my powers. This... this just isn't going to be easy. Novek stood up. "We should go. The longer we wait, the more likely Sleif's servents will find us."

 

Nicole looked at Novek.

'You did that to protect me, so you didn't betray us, as for control he did that, it wasn't destiny.' Nicole told him telepathicly. Shee walked over to him and looked at him concerned.

'Believe me, you're not harm to any of us. only Slief.' She said telepathicly. She looked at the others.

"Shall we get going?" She asked all of them.

 

"I believe that we shall keep going," Alexis answered to Nicole.
Then she looked at Alex.
"I also wonder the same thing Alex. I need to test it out sometime," Alexis said to Alex.
Then she walked back to where the others were with Alex.
