A Star Wars Story

"Yes my Apprentice... I sense you are curious to the operation of Praesentia... Well... This is actually the simplest vehicle in the galaxy. It is controlled and powered by the Force. This ship... It is like a nexus of Force energy. It cannot be controlled or steered by any normal beings... Nor even any normal Jedi or Sith. It only reacts to the will of the True Sith... That would be you and I."

Ops sent a whisper through the Force. The transmission activated and the holopresence of a Mandalorian General appeared. Ops recognized him instantly, but did not show it. He simple sent a mental whisper to Menos.

I told you the Mandalorians would follow...

"Ah... Commander Jet... How good of you to... Grace us with your presence. To what do I owe your patronage?"

 

"I don't remember telling you my name, oh well probably some of your force abilities. Anyhow I'm here to ask you what right do you have destroying a space station, and above that a medical station! I warn you sith, that I am one of the most wanted men in the galaxy by the empire for me siding with the jedi. I have look death straight in the eyes a hundred times! I have taken down rancors with my own two hands. You will find me a formable opponent. If I ever see you, I'll will make sure to kill you, which won't be to long from now."

 

Menos laughed, "Kill us? Hah, like its possible. I destroyed the station and planet. And he's stronger than me. How do you think you'll fare when we have that power?"

 

"Well I have special armor that you force sensitive beings won't find to happy. You see Me and my elite droids have speical anti force armor, that not even your force powers maxed to the limit. you would have to enough force power to destroy this whole galaxy to even move me a inch back with the force. I got this technology from a little race called Aing-Tii. I took this and combined it with a little mandalorian iorn to that you can't just use the force on me, but you can't also cut me with your lightsabers. I'm not force senseitive, but I have been trained with my brother and droids on how to use a lightsaber. you also wouldn't be able to destroy my ship, becuase I added speical anti-force plating on it."

 

Ops gave a small scoff.

"You Mandalorians and your fancy gadgets... First off, if you ever talk to me the way you just did again, I will personally make sure to feed your entrails to the Gizka. Second, I dont care how strong your armor is, you are no match for my control over the Force."

Ops paused a moment.

"You know Jet, I am not allied with the Empire... Nor the Jedi. I would think you would welcome my friendship... Instead you spit on my hand. Tell me Jet, would you like us to be enemies?"

 

" Yes, I will avenge those inoccent people that you killed aboard that station. Our ancestors fought along side each other, but that will never happen again as long as I live. I know you sith are obsessed with killing jedi, wanting the galaxy to yourself, well all I have to say is your mission on polis massa I'm guessing, was to kill the jedi? well it failed she will be aboard my ship within moments. so If you really want to kill than come and get me. I'm above Zeltros, only a couple of planets away. you sith say your stronger than the jedi, well if you can't even beat me in combat than you sith are even worse fighters than I thought."

 

Ops turned to Menos.

"My apprentice... How would you like to go and... negotiate with these Mandalorians?"

 

"Now wait just a second, even though I want to kill doesn't mean I want to pass up an opportunity. I've been trying to bring down the empire for as long as I can remember. The only I can do that is too kill the emperor, like the saying goes, you have to cut the head of the snake. I see the empire as a greater threat than you, I can also see that you could be very helpful in this cause. I can make a temporary truth's for the time being if your also interested in destroying the empire."

 

Ops chuckled a moment, sending a mental whisper through the Force to his apprentice.

He has no idea... My apprentice... You alone are already greater than the Emperor... He truly underestimates my power...\

Ops's skull mask gave the view screen no indication of truth.

"Commander... You have seen my Apprentices power. You have not even seen a faction of mine. If I truly wanted to, I could make the sector of the galaxy your in right now die. I could literally kill your system within the blink of an eye. So tell me, why should I ally myself with you? What can I get from it?"

 

"Well I highly don't that, I can tell when someone is bluffing. I know you truly fear the empire, why would you just attack a small outpost in the outer rim instead of the capital of the whole empire? The way I see it is, your too much of a coward to face the empire. Also even if you were telling the truth about blowing up this sector of the galaxy, well you wouldn't be able to even touch my ship, the Aing-Tii are the greatest force senseitive species in the whole universe! Their techonolgy secceds anything in our galaxy by a long shot! They have shard some of this techonogly with me and my brother, making me invunable in my ship or may mandalorian armor along with my brother. I should say anything I own has antiforce plating with mandalorian iron."

 

i shoul have made two people.

 

"A coward?! Are you begging for death? We should kill you now for even speaking to us like that! The only reason we haven't destroyed the empire is because we don't feel like wasting the enrgy to do it right now. You should be on your knees, begging us to help you! Ops, I say we kill him now."

 

"Oh so now your not just a coward, your also lazy. No wonder you fell to the jedi so many times. I would watch it too, I know someone who could tunr your guts inside out. Works for the Zann construim. also if you are telling the truth about it taking too much energy somehow, then me helping would make it take less energy if my calcuations are correct?"

 

"I didn't say it takes too much. I said we didn't want to waste that much energy. Learn to listen better mandalorion." Menos was growing bored of the conversation. I'll be in my chambers if I'm needed. Menos told Ops through the force. He quickly turned and head to his room.

 

"running away with your wamp rat tail tucked between your legs I see? Well I guess this conversation is only for the ig boys, so run along you little appertince. I guess Darth Vader can put up a better fight than you. End of story, do you want to take this chance or not oh great and powerful sith."

 

Ops gave a slight chuckle. He sent another whisper through the Force.

Before you go my apprentice... I think you would enjoy watching this Mandalorian beg for his life from me... This is your next lesson...

Ops stared at the viewscreen, seeing the inside of Jet's ship. It was indeed full of Mandalorians, all wearing this "Oh so special armor" Jet was bragging of. Ops decided to test the theory. He targeted one of the larger Mandalorian's standing with Jet. He attempted to use the Force to rip him apart... But the armor was stopping him. Indeed it was strong... but it gave Ops an idea. The only way to block the Force is to use the Force itself... So these armored peices must use the Force to block it... Ops found his way to win. He utilized his singularly unique ability and drained the Force from the armor of said Mandalorian. It slowly lost both color and its glow. It no longer had energy to stop Ops's own tremendous power.

Ops sent a whisper through the Force and, without the Force powered armor to protect him, the Mandalorian to the hit full Force. His insides squirmed, and he imploded on himself, dissappearing from existence completely. A moment later, the Mandalorian appeared outside Jet's ship, in space. Now Ops could really crank up the power. The Mandalorian's screams died as he was engulfed in a volcano of scarlet flames that came from thin air.

Ops gave Jet a chuckle.

"I truly dont think you are in a position to negotiate. If everything you have truly can resist the Force, that means you will only make me stronger than ever. You need the Force in order to stop the Force. Truly ingenious... But not worth my time. Now... Unless you would like to reconsider your offer, our conversation is over."

Ops gave Jet the blank, emotionless stare from the inside of his skull mask.

 

"Yes it is true, it takes the force to beat the force. I also have to say this, I may be no Jedi or sith, I might not also be force senseitive. But the light side have previaled more than the darkside and I do believe it shall again, and if I fail to destroy you, then there will be others that will come to stop you. The battle between light and dark is far from over. But with every sith that dies, the closer the light prevails, but with every jedi that dies the dark prevails, today the light gets closer. Good-bye" Jet than shut off the transmssion. Then Ronian who had been lstening stepped forward.

In the debre of polis massa, where imperials are still trying to fix their star destroyers hyperdrives, a small light floats around. "Those stupid sith ruined my plan, oh well I can still sense my mothers presecne in the force. She is on her way to Zeltros, such a beatiful planet, maybe crushing it will change her mind about joining the darkside." John soon started floating towards one of the star destroyers. Once aboard a soldier told him the hyperdrive engines were still under construction. "Pathic solider, I will use the force to fix it!" John waled to the engine room and started using the force to fix them. Soon the ship started making funny nosies, but than the lights came back on and the ship was fixed. John headed towards the bridge, once he reached it he sat in the commanders chair. "Make way for zeltros, commander. Out prey has ran off."

 

"Well well Jet. You never cease to amaze me. It's a miracle we're not both dead yet." Ronain commented, playing with the hilt of his vibroblade. He sat down in a chair and sat back.

John felt foolish about everything. About Sarah. About Polis Massa. About everything. How long had this war been going on? He could never figure out. But now he knew that he had to convince Sarah to join him. That was the only thing that mattered to him now. One of the pilots turned to him. "Where to sir?"
John thought. "Follow the trails." he replied.

 

"Well you have the choice to leave, your part has been done, but i do know how you like a good fight. I'm sure this ain't going to be a good fight. but one hell of a fight. Now follow me, we need to speak with the commander of Cougar. I've heard alot about this commander. he's one of the best there is in mando navy. he comes close to us in the mando navy. So why don't we go give him our thanks for saving our lives."

 

Ronian nodded. "That sounds good to me. Just exactly what we needed. Let's just hope he's all he cracked up to be." he replied, following behind Jet. It was hard to believe all that happened over the last few hours, so now it felt good to just relax.
