The New Dawn 5: Shadows Awaken

Melody smiled.
"Yes, Siah. We'll be alright!"
She looked over to Kiba and beamed at him. She spun around in her dress.
"So how do I look?" she asked him with a cute voice.

Harone looked around for an exit but the only exit was blocked off. Suddenly an explosion sounded and the rubble blocking the exit was cleared.
"Come on!" Calder exclaimed. Harone ran out the exit and they were back in the streets of Dawn. Siah came upto them.
"Hey Siah, is Kiba and his friend okay?" Calder asked.

 

(Urge. . . to kill. . . rising. . . . I can't even think at this time of night, let alone read 4 pages.)

Symm sighed at at Siah (*Rimshot*), and shook his head. Then, he replied, "You can count on me to take care of these kids. . . . But please, try not to die AGAIN! It reall gets annoying after the second time or so."

He smirked at his own little joke.

 

"Damn she's good." Voltair thought to himself. He needed to think of another question to stump her with. One popped into his mind. "Okay.... How's this? What was our first date?"

 

Hunter ran up the steps of the castle, running up the staircases as he sensed he wasnt alone. "Hmmm interesting," he muttered as he looked down at the card Arlene gave him, "that must be them up ahead." He looked around before shouting, "IM COMING!!!" he said with a grin.

 

"It's not a matter of running." Voltair said. "You don't remember your life. And when you were almost kidnapped, that guy said you had some important memory. And if you remember who you were, then you would know what that memory is, and then we can keep it away from them. And I know that the way I just said that, it sounds like I'm only doing this for that memory, but that's not true. I'm doing it for you."

 

Melody smiled, seeing his reaction to her question. She giggled cutely. Kiba walked upto her and asked Melody if she was okay.
"I'm fine now. Thanks to you!"
She kissed his cheek and blushed. She looked away shyly.

 

Hunter started towards the guy and girl in front of him. "Please please tell me your who im looking for?" he said with a chuckle. "Cause seriously this place is too big to keep wandering around in." He said with a dark grin. He stopped a few feet away from them.

 

Voltair looked at him. "I haven't the slightest idea about who you're looking for. There were two other people here. But when we were in the Entrance Hall, those two people had gone down towards the basement instead of coming up with us. They said something about needing to hide from somebody. I'm guessing you're the one their hiding from."

 

Hunter feigned an honest smile, "Ah man i just cant catch a break." He started to walk toward the man, his hand behind his back slowly drawing out his blade. "I have been looking forward to meeting you Voltair" he said with a grin, hand outstretched for a hand shake.

 

"I'm sure." Voltair said. He didn't really want to shake Hunter's hand. "But, quick question. How do you know my name? I never told you it, and I'm really not famous." Voltair readied himself for the fight that was gonna break out.

 

"Oh, your pretty famous with my new group of friends." He said with a smirk. "And your certainly someone i wanted to meet for some time now." he said as he slowly unsheathed one sword.

 

"I'm sure I am." Voltair said, his keyblade starting to appear in his hand. In his other hand, dark energy started to charge up. "But these friends of yours. You should explain more about them. Do I know any of them? Are you really their friend? Or just a tool?"

 

"Whats there to explain?" Hunter said as he slowly started to pace around. "A guy named Saki is the head honcho and there is this crazy lady name Arlene....." he grinned slightly, "well, might like that one." He gripped the handle a bit tighter, "as for me, well im no tool, just trying to get what i always want."

 

"Saki eh... I wondered where that little rat hid when things got too intense for him." Voltair muttered. "Things are making a bit more sense. And what is it you want? A life? Something to do?"

 

"Me? Im just looking for a good time." He said with a grin before launching at him with a hard slash to his stomach, while turning into a kick in case he blocked it. "Lets have some fun!" he grinned.

 

Voltair jumped into the air. He stayed above Hunter's head. "A good time..... Why am I always followed by some psychotic villian trying to kill me?" He fired several dark blasts at Hunter. He then flipped in the air and swooped down to strike Hunter.

 

Vanquish disappeared.
"We'll meet again, Chris"

Calder saw Chris standing alone. Siah and Harone were with Calder.
"Chris, you have to get out of here, the building's about to go down!"

Harone moved out of the way from falling rubble.
