The New Dawn 5: Shadows Awaken

Siah nodded and ran over to Calder "Kiba's friend will survive. Its darkness thats causing her wound to be black but it's not going to harm her any more than the darkness was before now. For now, you are outnumbered." she summoned her keyblade. Kiba frowned "your parents..?" he sighed "I'm sorry...I cant remember." he admitted.

 

Kiba looked sad, he never did have to lose his parents but he did almost lose his sister before. He remembered how scary that was so he knew part of Melody's pain. He walked over to her and handed her a potion "Um... drink this it should help with your injury." he wasn't sure what to day about her parents but he knew he should say something. "And... I'm sorry about your parents. I'm sure they arent dead. Thats not how darkness works." he said trying to reassure her though he didn't mention anything about the possibility of them being lost in the shadow relm or anything.

 

Kiba at first was suprised, but then he wrapped an arm around her. He just met her but she was sad and scared. "I promise." he said finally. "I wont let anything hurt you again."

Siah killed annother heartless, partly driven by anger at them being back when they weren't supposed to be and partly with her deturmination to keep them away from her brother or Calder.

 

Rai heard the noise too and responded "It sounded like it was on the first floor. Whoever is here, they still have some ways to catch up even if they dont bother to go through their own memories." she looked ahead, noticing they were at the Disney Castle gardens in Raven's Memory. Rai glared "Wow I had almost forgotten what this place looked like." she smiled, forgetting the danger behind for awhile and walked up to the Castle *odd, a castle inside a castle * and through the front doors. She saw a couple of brooms walking down the hall and then Queen Minny walk into the library. Behind her walked two people that Rai of course recognised "Looks like this isn't just my memory."

Siah nodded, she smiled partly wanting to go in and make sure Kiba was ok but then again she didn't want to interrupt them. "Its kid of like watching us from the past." she laughed a little.

Kiba let her cry there until Symm came in, the sound startled him when Symm spoke and he looked up. "Oh... sorry Symm." he said "I was worried about my friend here she was hurt. I think I healed her but I dont know if I did it right."

 

Rai nodded "Just because we aren't using your cards doesn't mean you dont remember this too though. Ergo, making it your memory too." she pointed out before she followed the three of them into the library where Queen Minny looked like she was going to panic and Raven and Voltair looked not quite as on edge as Minny but still worried. Raven looked at Voltair "Hey... I can take care of this. Do you mind going to check on Siah? I think she's pretty worried about Calder."
*lol this might get confusing the memory Raven was talking to the memory Voltair and I'm not sure if I'm power playing if I answer for him :/*

 

Kiba stood up, feeling kind of embarassed "Oh... um Melody this is Symm. He's our pilot among other things."

Siah watched Calder leave "Be careful!" she called after him. Partly she longed to follow him and help him but she really needed to know that her brother was ok.

Suddenly the door flew open and Siah came in "Kiba!" Siah said, hugging her brother. "Are you alright? Did he hurt you?"

Kiba hugged his sister back "I'm fine Si. I think I scared him off before you guys got here."

Siah laughed, same old Kiba, "Sure you did kiddo." she said "So are you going to introduce me to your friend?"

"Siah this is Melody... she's like Emily. The Darkness was using her but she helped me back there."

Siah smiled and looked at Melody "Nice to meet you Melody. I'm Siah."

 

Rai just lauged "For someone as brilliantly 'wise' as I remember you to be, you're kinda slow sometimes."

Raven and Mickey watched Voltair take off down the hallway toward the infermary and then Minney turned around to face Raven again "Are you sure you want to go throught with this Raven?"

Raven shushed Minney by putting a finger over her own lips and then looking around cautionsly to make sure no one was listening. She looked right through Rai and the real Voltair who were standing only directly next to her. When she looked back at Minney she looked sure, but at the same time kind of unwilling. "Yeah... I have to know."

Minney nodded "Ok, if you're sure. Follow me."

The memory kind of skipped and the four of them were in the library, Minney was looking through some of the books and Raven was leaning against the desk, bent over a very old looking book. She didn't move, her knuckles were white with how hard she was holding on to the edge of the desk. As minney returned from the bookshelf she looked empathetic "I'm sorry that there wasn't an easier way to tell you. I wish you didn't even have to know at all. It's just that-"

Raven shook her head but she didn't look away from the book "-i'm... I'm fine. Dont worry. I'm glad I know now instead of the day its supposed to happen. If this really comes true, then at least I'm better prepared for it now." she straightened up and walked to the window. Minney followed her, the two of them could see Siah, Nicole, Harone, and Voltair talking outside a few floors down in the garden by the Gummi Hanger. The two of them were silent for a long time before Minney spoke again "You're going to have to tell Voltair sooner or later, Raven."

Raven shook her head, "What he doesn't know wont hurt him. Besides you even said yourself if darkness never takes control then none of this will ever happen." she pointed out "He never has to know."

Minney looked like she was going to protest but then she sighed "Ok... it's your secret to tell I guess." she handed Raven a piece of paper that had been lying in the book. A photo *i'm pretty sure everyone knows what it is now seeing as it's currently in Hunter's posession so I wont explain it* "Just in case..." she said. Raven took it and put it in her pocket. She then stood up and walked toward the door, taking a deep breath and trying to look like she and Minney had been talking about less scary things. "I should get downstares and be with the others. I have a feeling after Cal wakes up we're going to be off again to find the last princess of heart before the Dark Order does."

Minney nodded and waved to Raven but said nothing as Raven walked out of the library and closed the door behind her.

Rai shook her head "Yeah... thats a memory I could have done without." she said walking over to the book as Minney turned around again and stared out the window.

Siah looked at Melody's expression, and knew what she was thinking about. She smiled a little "You know the worst part about these big fights is the fact that I never can keep all of my clothes in one piece." she laughed a little "Thats why I usually keep spare clothes with me in my bunk room. If you want to, maybe we can find something there that will fit you."
