Dirk and his guards sat back and watched Lord Seth kick some serious butt. the guards started making bets,"Hey I bet 20 gold pieces those two will beat Lord Seth."

"I'll take that bet." Dirk was bored, but he knew that they were planning to run from the fight, but didn't decide to tell Lord Seth. Dirk started for a door and ushered his guards to follow. Dirk went through a couple more doors and was finally outside.

"From where they were fighting, this is the closest way out of the mansion, so lets started guarding it." Dirk and the guards headed for the door and opened to see the prisoner laying on the ground. dirk put a spell on the door so there was no escape."Now we must stand here and make sure they don't get through, but even if they do, I have put a spell on the door."

 

Vivienne was starting to feel the aftereffect of overusing her ability once again. Her vision was getting hazy and she felt unsteady on her feet. She brushed off her exhaustion, however, and focused all her power on Seth's makeshift shackles. He was hit by just about all the furniture in the room, but it didn't seem to have much of an effect. When he started chanting, she trembled slightly, a telltale sign that he was going to use magic. She expected him to use offensive magic, but instead he used one that nullified her barrier's effect.

Free to move, Seth wasted no time and attacked the two of them. He hit prisoner first, kicking him through the wall. She wanted to race over to him and to heal him, but Seth was already rushing at her. Shoot. She was already in a weakened state, so parrying his blow would be impossible. The scythe was only inches away from her, and all she could form was a flimsy barrier.

The barrier did nothing to stop his assault, but it considerably lessened the force. She dropped to the ground, barely conscious. Ugh… I've got to heal myself…

 

The prisoner didn't move, so Dirk thought it was safe to say he was unconious. Dirk heard a cracking sound on the otherside of the wall. So Dirk went through the the hole in the wall the prisoner made. To find Lord Seth standing over the barely consicous female warrior. Dirk and his guards ran over to her and picked her up and made sure she wouldn't get free of their grasp. "Well looks like you lost your bet." Dirk said pointing to the guard who said Lord Seth would lose. "What do you want me to do with the female sir?"

 

Caedus had been standing still for awhile now. At first glance, he may have appeared to have some sort of disease... In which he could not move or speak. But those who truly knew him, which was only Seth, could tell what was coming. Dark energies had been slowly swirling the room for awhile now, and Caedus's power level had grown to far greater heights than any others in the room. Caedus took a moment, and for the first time in nearly thirty minutes, he moved. Only slightly.

"I believe you dont undertstand Dirk... If he gives into his dark side, you are all in danger. Seth and I can overpower him, but when he gives in, it will be over for the rest of you. Now... Lets add a bit of... Flare to this battle..."

He flicked his wrist and a bolt of lightning riddled towards Vivienne, and obliterated the last barriers protecting her from Seth. Caedus had acclimated so much power while remaining inanimate, every step he took made the ground tremble in his presence.

Another bolt flared towards the Jake.

 

OOC: well Seth already kind of took down the shield, and now she's lieing on the floor, so yeah, akward! also, Jake was already through the wall, and I said he was unconiscous, I'll go with it.

Dirk and the guards were holding the female, when suddenly she over powered the guards with some magic, and made another force field, Dirk held on, but the force field was oushing him a way. Dirk was about to attack, but than Lord Caedus, who Dirk thought had been taking a nap standing up or in aa coma, moved and flicked his wrist a little and destroyed the barrier, and sent the female back into the wall. Dirk and the guards moved forward and grabbed the female once again, but this time Dirk said some words sliently, and magic rings appeared around her feet and arms,"This will disable your magic abilities for about 30 mins, maybe more."

 

Vivienne's struggles hardly budged the filthy guards propping her up, and her sight was getting dimmer by the second. "Hands… off!" She used what little energy she had left to make a barrier, pushing Dirk and his guards away.

Gotta heal… She didn't have to time to move, however. A man suddenly sent a stroke of lightning her way, quickly shattering her barrier. Its force was strong, and it easily threw her against the wall. She felt a few bones break. Who was that?! She didn't know how she overlooked this other man's presence, but now the power he emitted was impossible to ignore. Could he be even more powerful than Seth? She cursed again. Why the hell are all of Attrox abnormally strong?

She winced in pain as Dirk and his guards picked her up; this time they cast a spell that disabled her abilities. Vivienne could barely make out what was happening: those two powerful freaks were talking, the guards decided to fly away from her, and she felt oddly light as she flitted across the room.

Prisoner's harsh tone caught her attention.

"About that, Mr. Prisoner, would'ya mind carrying me a bit?" She laughed weakly, slightly delirious. "I don't think I can feel my legs."

 

Caedus chuckled a moment.

"But my friend, it was painfully obvious these lower class wretches are more cunning than we anticipated. And, forgive me, but I was getting rather tired of seeing you exert your strengths on such miniscule problems. Besides..."

Caedus paused a moment, glancing at Jake who was now making the girl hover.

"His Dark Side is out now. If you would like a demonstration of his limits... I think now is as good a time as any to show you. I have a vendetta with him anyways."

In less than a second, Caedus had appeared in front of Jake, standing between him and the girl, and trail of sparks where Caedus had been standing a moment before sputtered and spat.

"Heres the deal, Fallen One. Come into the testing chambers with me, and you will be allowed to live, along with your friend here. If you resist, I will kill you both. And despite what you may think, your powers are so far beneath mine its quite pitiful I am even giving you a choice."

 

Caedus's grin widened so far it seemed his cheeks would split from excitement. His pupils turned a brackish black color as Dark energies swirled around him. Seth had given Caedus the one thing he always craved... And he loved when Seth did it. Not that he was Seth's slave, but the two had worked together for hundreds and hundreds of years... They knew what eachother were thinking, and what they wanted. Seth had given Caedus exactly what he knew he wanted...

"With extreme pleasure my friend... Now you may want to take a seat... It's been awhile since you have seen a lightshow like this."

Caedus pushed in on a tile of the back wall, and the wall itself opened, revealing the gleaming fields outside. Barren, wide, and without any place to run. They were open fields for miles until they reached the forests edge. Caedus smiled darkly at Jake's darkside.

"This will be our battlefield. No use in destroying Seth's mansion simply to deal with a wretched inbred like you... Oh yes... I know your history Fallen One... I have no doubt this will be the most exciting moment of your life... Witnessing TRUE power..."

Caedus shoved Jake out into the field, the sun gleaming down on the two of them.

"When we first met... I was in your element..."

The sky began to blacken as clouds spiralled around themselves. Caedus himself lifted into the air, the static power of his electrically charged body giving him flight. Caedus then unsheathed Orpheus, pointing it like an accusing finger at Jake.

"Now... You are in mine..."

Thunder roared across the sky as Caedus flew at Jake, blade raised to strike, and the fight had begun.

 

Dirk was shocked at how much power Lord Caedus had sealed away, Dirk had his own true power hidden, but that power, could only probably stand up to Lord Seth at the most. "So whats the bet gunna be this time you two?" The one guard who lost last time spoke.

"Are you kiddin me? Like anyone would bet againest Lord Caedus in his crazed power stage. He looks more crazy than a chestapple dragon gone wild!"Dirk went and grabbed a chair and sat next to the female warrior, on the otherside that Lord Seth was.

"So Lord Seth, what did you mean when you said, '...How long have you been searching?' my Lord?"

 

"Well that's just great! Now that Lord Caedus found this prophet, There won't be a spot for me in the Lords! Because you'll turn this prophet from good to evil and than he'll take my spot! man I can't do nothin! So what about conquering the nation of Monos? we've been dealing with this prophet guy, and this female warrior the whole time."

 

"I don't know about the fireworks part, if you remember last week when I tryed making a new super bomb? Yeah, me and blackpower don't mix very well. I'm still rebuilding the west side of my manison. Next time you do the explosives, and I'll sit back and watch. Also what if this prophet regains his memory, or Lord Caedus gives it to him. Who will he follow? Him or us, I say we keep an eye on him. So if he's the prophet, than what's the big deal with the female warrior?"

 

Caedus's grin widened. As Jake ran towards him swinging violently, Caedus increased the electrical magnetivity of his power, rising into the air out of harm's way. Caedus then laughed loudly as he sent a shockwave of lightning riddling through Jake's blade.

 

"Maybe you should get her to make the explosives, but of course not in my mansion this time, I almost blew up my eye brows off! Also if this prophet is as powerful as you say, what if he comes to, you know, over power Master Valintane. I know your going to say that's impossible, but if this guys was able to have his powers reborn into a mere boy thousands of years later, I think that's some pretty strong powers. I highly doubt Master Valintane could even do that."
