Why do people hate Kairi?

She's the damsel in distress? I don't see that.

She managed to get herself into trouble making Sora worry and then get herself out of that trouble. In the second game Sora did't even make an effort to save her, he just saved the world while Naminé saved Kairi.

Plus, I see a damsel in distress too much of a Stereotype, Square did try to lift this by making her fight, but she's so weak that it's more bothersome than if she did fight.

Eg. Imagine this party of three.

Sora
Riku
Kairi

Sora and Riku would kick ass, while as Kairi would have low health, low strength,but possible high magicka. She would then get hurt, cure herself, kill one enemy, almost dies heal herself and then demand potions and ethers.

 

i get what ya saying, i hear from people alot that they have something against kairi. the thing to remember is the reason she go on so much about sora is because she has strong feelings for him. i think myself that she is ok to a point.

-_- Oh my goodness. That's how Choco is trying to say. You can't say that Kairi will be at a low health. She might be another Yuna who do summonings & do a lot of healing with the pearl spell & white mages don't have low health. Not only that, she might be able to dual weild keyblades like Sora, but we're not sure of that yet. Not only that, she might take on the powers of Namine now that the two are in one body now. This is what I see:

Sora, Riku, Kairi. Sora & Riku can attack & Kairi may be on the weak side of the strength part, but she is real good with white magics & can summon. She is also a fast & a evasive girl, meaning that she can't get hit easily often. She also can do reaction commands like Sora & has a limit command of her own that she can combine with Sora. She may also take on the abilities that Sora has in KH1.

 

i still think kiari is kind of anoying

But kairi as far as a character in a party, wouldn't be useless.

Reasons:

1) Nomura wouldn't let her be weak, she would be a master of magic
2) She wouldn't be useless, because first, she is a PoH, Nomura will give her some funky unlocked power

 

EXACTLY! Besides, you don't want any change in her anyways. If they change her in KH3, you might really hate her in KH3 than she was in Kh1 & 2. I don't want anything change in her voice & personality, except to be able to play her. I would rather love her the way she is than to complain about what you don't like about her when they might make her worser in future games...

 

i just hope she is in kh3 alot more and gets a keyblad or somthing

 

same, if they were to change her in kh(not kh3 just kh) you may dislike her even more
if they were to change her personality it would kinda change the points of view of others.

 

She WILL NOT, obtain a Keyblade, at ALL

 

theres no kh3 its just kh and kh doesn't follow the KH1_COM_KH2.
its a different storyline between those 3 charaters that was shown in the ending of kh2

 

X3pic, she might just use that flower keyblade as her own or oathkeeper. It's a possibility. Also, if you hate Kairi, that means you hate her theme song. XD

 

i love kairi but i would love for her to be more potent in the next game.
i think she has a huge part in the game(s) that they wouldnt be as great without her

 

but u have to admit it would be pritty cool seeing kairi flying around killing heartless

 

If she gets a Keyblade, I highly doubt. If she gets one, then the other POH's may get one. Too many Keyblades out there for everyone.
And I don't think hating Kairi means hating the theme. That's like saying; I hate this really cool song I like because this guy I hate listens to it.

And I don't like the idea that she will spontaneously get powers because she has to. Sora and Riku have a history of sparring so they know how fight. Kairi only watched while making charms and ordering the two to get the items for the raft =\

 

I gotta wonder. Why do so many people care if Kairi gets a keyblade or fights or not? And also, that keyblade being Riku's, it makes me wonder about Riku if he get's such a girly keyblade for Kairi. Even Kairi thinks it's girly.

 

Let's not throw in the Princesses of Hearts in here Rawr. -_- Desert. That's randomly is amusing, but the True Heart would've have some special abilities & Kairi sure didn't doubt the keyblade.
