"The boy with the purple book" ooc/s.u.

This is a RP based off of "Zatch Bell" I'm not sure if people should control two characters -a Mamodo child and their partner- or just one. You guys can choose I guess. This takes place 1,000 years after Zatch Bell becomes king, so no characters from the series please. We are going to need people to play villains too.

Plot

One hundred Mamodo children go to Earth every 1,000 years to battle to be the king of the mamodo world. Each mamodo needs a human partner in order to use his or her spell book, a book that seals the powers of the mamodo. When read aloud, the spells are cast by the mamodo producing many effects. If the spell book is burned, the mamodo is forced to return to the mamodo world. While the spells in each book typically are different for each mamodo, there are mamodo that share spells. The human and their mamodo gain these spells through experience. The last mamodo standing without their book burnt is the new mamodo king.

Bio: Kenji is a layabout. He want's nothing more than to sleep the days away and write. Unfortunately for him -or perhaps fortunately- fate has a different calling for him. On a routine adventure to his favorite park, where he likes to watch lily pads float by from under a sakura tree, he found a boy laying in his spot. Dressed in a dark leather jacket and a white T-shirt with bold words say "Fall Dead", Fate seemed to be an kid. He only became stranger when he pulled out a purple book and tossed it to Kenji, telling him to read from it. From that day forward, Kenji's easy days went out the window. Now he's made a promise to help Fate reach his goal so that he won't disappoint his Sister.

Bio: Fate is a simple Mamodo who just want's to sleep and let the days pass. But because of his power that wasn't possible. If he could he'd just give up, but that isn't like him. If he gives his word on something, or says he'll complete something, he does. And that was also his downfall. His sister, Curry, tricked him into giving his word that he'd do his best. And although he often thinks about "faking" doing his best, he couldn't live with himself if he went back on his word or let his sister down.

EDIT: Shadow, your characters are accepted. Btw something else we need to define before we RP is who is the main protagonist and who is the main antagonist.

 

No that's good. I'm just wondering if "power" alone will be enough of a drive for a main villian.
