Absence

Ok it's already been resolved...I apologize for the trouble, and now I realize that that means I owe you an explanation.

Earlier today I got a phone call that stressed me out immensely. I have a relative, my aunt, who's in a coma for about 2 years now. I got a call from the hospital saying one of my relatives (her daughter, my cousin) was opting to pull the plug because she was tired of going to see her and there being no progress (I can understand her frustrations, it's her mother).

I was going to try and do one of those legal battles for custody along with some of my other relatives...but instead I phoned her and told her that she does not have the right to make a decision of this magnitude without consulting the rest of her family.

She saw reason, luckily...though I'm still stressed out about it. My brother-in-law is going to stay with her at the hospital to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid.

So that's the scenario...hopefully you can understand why my original post sounded slightly rude, I've been very stressed. I've got lots of problems of an educational nature as well, so I have to try and work those out soon too.


So take home point: Taking a leave of absence is unnecessary, sorry for the overreaction.
