    Okay, well for awhile now ive been going through possible the best thing for final fantasy(IMO). Its called the Final Fantasy Combat(saga). There will be one for all the main games. But the first i'd make is 7.

    The combat system would be much like Dissidia, but with more to it. For example, you can customize your character two extreme(using materia) to be up a character to your suiting. For each button there is set move type, which you can customize to your liking

    X= Guard/dodge/counter
    O= Magic attack
    TRI= M armed attack (sword/gun etc)
    SQUARE= L armed attack
    R1/L1= Materia of choice (magic, combo/strenght attack etc)
    R2/L2= Summon(controllable for short period, lengthened depending on summon stats)

    Of course you could just config your own button list and do whatev.

    Another thing id enjoy is having multiple costumes per character(EG Cloud- FFVII, FFVII:AC, FFVII:CC, Bonus KH1 skin). And then having a dummy Character which you can mess up to extreme (Chocobo cloud, moogle Cait etc).

    I would also have it in a 2.5D relm with exceptions(2D play, 3D characters) But ability to side scroll(Move up/down) Not 100% freedom(makes sense in my head >.<)

    Also have a brawling character, where its 100% 3D and can have up to 4 players in a single match.

    Anyway, tell me what you guys think :/

    I like the idea of using Dissidia's combat system. Although if you could change it a bit, add some more focus to ground fighting. In Dissidia, everything seems to be concentrated around fighting in the air.
